to Legend, hundreds of thousands of years ago, the god of darkness ruled the earth and was cruel to all creatures of the earth, the sun god and the thunder god worked together to defeat him.

After a long battle, finally, the god of darkness can be defeated and sealed by the two gods on a mysterious island.

Just in case, the two gods left a magic book with humans which later became known as the magic book of Gods.

But after tens of thousands of years have passed, monsters suddenly appear and start to wreak havoc on all the inhabitants of the earth, the monsters are thought to get the power of the dark god who has been sealed.

To protect themselves from monsters, humans began to study divine magic books and those who studied them would become wizards.

In a small village on the coast of the sea, a boy named Virgo lives without any talent for magic, yet he lives comfortably with his small family until that night comes!

"Virgo, why are you not interested in magic? Do you think being a wizard is troublesome?" Loren asked her son who was only 10 years old.

"Mmm, magic is troublesome and tiring, I'm always falling behind my friends, that's why I don't want it.

After all, magic isn't very useful either, I don't want to be a magician, I want to live an ordinary life like mom and dad." Virgo answered lightly.

"Is it true? It's not bad, but if you become a mage, you can find something bigger, you can also protect yourself and others, isn't that great?" Loren continued smiling gently while stroking the head of her beloved child.

"I'll think about it later, for me as long as dad and mom are fine and always with me, that's enough," Virgo replied with a small smile.

"Mom I'm sleepy, can you sleep early!" Virgo yawned, he felt his eyes getting heavy with sleepiness.

"Mmm, alright, it's getting late, you can sleep!" Loren smiled faintly, and let her son rest.

In the middle of a lonely night, while Virgo was sound asleep, he was surprised by his parents.

"Virgo...Virgo wake up!" His mother's soft hands shook his body quite hard, it was the first time he was awakened roughly.

"Mother, what happened? I am still sleepy!" Virgo massaged his eyes with his small hands as his body was forced to rise.

"Honey, don't make a sound!" Loren's expression showed panic and fear, and without waiting for a response from Virgo, Doris, who had slim, black hair, immediately dragged his wife and child out of the house through the back door.

"Hurry up!"

A panicked sound his breath running out of breath from Doris running holding the hands of his wife and son, they immediately jumped up and sat hiding behind a big tree, peering in fear into the dark beside the old house.

Loren firmly covered Virgo's mouth who was still whimpering in fear, the little family looked pale with their bodies trembling with fear.

Then, from the darkness beside the wooden house, a monster with a large black body and a head like an old jug covered in moss appeared.

Its green body is 3 meters tall and stands with a slight bow and 2 machete-like horns in its arms.

The monster's eyes were pointed red as if it could see everything, its mouth was wide open so sharp teeth like saws could be seen clearly.

Doris peeked carefully again, and his body immediately shuddered when he saw the monster approaching them.

Loren saw her husband's eyes filled with fear and worry.

"Did the monsters find us?" Loren asked cautiously, hoping that her worries wouldn't occur.

Doris could only stare intently into his wife's eyes, "I can't just keep quiet!" Inwardly, he looked in all directions hoping for some way to survive the monster that was threatening his family.

His eyes stopped on a small wooden boat on the beach.

"There is still hope, you guys will survive," Doris said to his wife and child while holding his wife's shoulders.

"Listen to me carefully, you and Virgo must stay alive, and use the boat to escape, I will attract the attention of the monster," Doris said quickly while pointing towards the small boat.

"No, don't do it, the monster will kill you!" Loren shook her head disapprovingly, her cheeks were full of tears, and she didn't want her husband to sacrifice for the both of them.

Whereas Virgo was still too frightened, he didn't even pay attention to his father's words.

"There's no time for me to go now." Doris kissed his wife and child on the forehead, then hugged them tightly one last time.

But as he was getting ready to leave, Loren immediately grabbed his hand quickly and held it tightly, he suddenly turned and saw that his wife's cheeks were filled with tears.

Although he was also very sad, he swiftly threw his wife's hand away, "This is for Virgo's safety, you must take good care of him." Firmly convinced his wife.

Then he immediately jumped out from behind a tree and ran towards the bushes near the forest which still looked thick enough to hide while shouting at the monster.

As expected, the pitcher head monster reacted quickly, it turned its gaze towards the running middle-aged man.

"Whoosh."

The quick movements of the pitcher monster sent dust and dry leaves flying wildly along the path it was walking on.

Meanwhile, Loren, who was unable to stop her husband, now had no other choice. She immediately ran headlong towards the small boat, wiping away tears while carrying her child.

Her hands quickly grabbed Virgo and put her on the boat, she didn't forget to open the red scarf wrapped around her neck to cover Virgo's body.

"Mommy… I'm scared!" Virgo's little whining voice.

"Don't be afraid son, mother will protect you," Loren replied reassuring her son, but her hands did not stop shaking.

She also hastily took a step, pushing with all her might the small boat into the sea, until the boat touched the water.

"Rrrrrrrrr".

Suddenly a groaning sound was heard not far behind him, Loren heard it, but she didn't dare to look back, she desperately mustered up her courage and strength and pushed the small wooden boat with all her might.

The small wooden boat was already floating on the sea and was slowly being carried farther and farther by the waves, causing Loren to smile with relief.

"Kreekkkk."

The sound of a tree branch being stepped on by the pitcher head monster suddenly made Loren's body tremble and froze in place, her face pale towards the small wooden boat that was getting away, she released a last smile accompanied by tears.

"Rrrrrrrr."

The groaning sound of the pitcher monster was right behind her, giving her despair, she turned her head slowly back.

"Haaukckkk".

The mouth of the pitcher monster instantly devoured Loren's head viciously, the surrounding seawater instantly turning red.

Virgo opened the shawl that covered his body and stood looking towards the seaside, his eyes bulged sharply, his tears continued to flow uncontrollably, and he could only mourn his mother who was being cruelly killed.

The pitcher monster's red eyes flashed sharply towards the boat which was already floating quite far away, at that moment Virgo's legs trembled and softened until his body immediately collapsed.

Overflowing anger, making cold sweat turn hot, but his mind has been drained, he just knelt limply on a small wooden boat.

Looking at the sky hatefully, gritting his teeth endlessly, clenching his fists tightly, and hitting the boat desperately.

The pitcher monster roared, opened its mouth wide, its sharp teeth exposed clearly, and suddenly crouched its body, its feet dug several centimeters deep into the white sand, causing the surrounding sand grains and water to rise slightly.

Suddenly a faint green aura began to envelop the pitcher monster's body, preparing to jump into the small wooden boat that was drifting farther and farther out to sea.

But at the same time, a group of dark black clouds began to appear in the middle of the sea, the wind was blowing violently making the sea water irregular, rumbling sounds and flashes of lightning made matters worse.

Seeing that Virgo was dumbfounded and panicked, it wasn't hard for him to know that it was a big storm, he quickly strengthened his grip on the side of the small boat.

While the pitcher monster who saw the situation hesitated to jump onto the boat, the aura that enveloped his body immediately dimmed, and the sand and water that had previously been raised also fell.

"Weeerr... Dbuuus".

The seawater around Virgo became irregular with a roar heard around it slowly creating a giant whirlpool, and Virgo's boat began to be pulled by the giant whirlpool.

Virgo glared in fear, his face turned pale in panic, he couldn't do anything but closed his eyes in resignation.
