May 26th 5023 The Obelisk, Nirvana

The two-thousand story Obelisk stood in the middle of the grand city of Nirvana. Gathered there were the War Generals of the All Worlds. The skyscrapers surrounding the Obelisk cast massive shadows into the war room, where a heated discussion was taking place.

"The Generals do not approve of this decision, Admiral." General Marcus Anderson addressed the group as they gathered around the long table that housed the techno-blueprints that laid out the possible threats.

"What? It is best if we eliminate this threat before it can branch out any further!"

"We are not going to waste resources on that, Admiral!"

"But have you forgotten the Rebellion of 5013?"

"That was ten years ago, Admiral."

"SILENCE! ALL OF YOU!" a voice said from the shadowed corner.

"Your Majesty, we didn't expect you to be here," Gen. Anderson said as he bowed down, the others followed.

Only one officer remained standing, defiant.

"Do you have something to say?" The Leader of All Worlds asked with ice in his voice, glaring at the soldier.

The man said nothing. He reached for his weapon and aimed to shoot.

Bang!

The officer's gun fell to the ground and he collapsed next to it.

A blur of black and gray ziplined from an adjacent building into the war room, crashing through the window. All the officers pulled out their guns and aimed at the marksman that had just broken in.

"Lower your weapons, he's one of ours," the Leader commanded calmly. "Good job, Gyrfalcon. I have another target for you. Are you familiar with J? Codename "Jackal"?"

The shadowy Gyrfalcon, whose suit was sleek black paired with a black helmet with a visor. He was a featureless creature, a man seemingly without an expression or even a hint of the man behind his helmet, nodded.

"He has a son, X. You are aware, yes?"

Gyrfalcon nodded again.

"He has grown. Tomorrow he will reach the age of sixteen—the age of consent. He must be terminated like the others before him, and he will fight."

"You know what to do," the Leader said as Gyrfalcon jumped out the window.

"Go hunt, my boy. Go hunt." The Leader whispered to himself as all the officers unfroze from shock. "Then, my mission will be complete."
