Unexpected Fate.

In a clear sky, the sun is glaring so brightly as if trying to declare its might to the whole universe. It was an unusual hot day of summer. Parents are trying to hide their children at home fearing that the children might get heat-stroke if they went out. As a result, the usual busy play ground was empty today. Even so a little girl of age nine or ten was sitting on a swing alone, looking at nowhere. Her face was red from sitting long time under sun. It was miracle that she didn't faint even after sitting under the glaring sun for such a long time.

Time went by, soon the sun will set down, at that time another little girl run out of the house and sit beside the little girl who was in a deep thought. She looked at her friend who is still in a daze and didn't even realized that someone is sitting beside her, she sighed deeply and saw the red face of her friend 'She must be sitting here for whole afternoon' and called "Hiya, Hiya, HiyAAA". The little girl finally moved and replied to her friend monotonously "What happened? When did you came?" her friend replied "I have been sitting next to you for last ten minutes and you didn't even noticed!" she complained unhappily. "Why is your face so red? Did sit here for whole afternoon?". Hiya felt sad when she remembered the reason she was sitting here. Hiya and Lara have been friends since they were in diapers; their mothers are best friends since they were children and their friendship remained same even after they got married. Hiya and Lara are around same age. They are just six month apart so naturally they also became friends. Two little girls were influenced by their mother's friendship and thought they would be friends forever just like their mothers. However, reality was different from their expectation.

Hiya's father is a famous doctor for being highly skilled in medicine in the River city. But recently he got a job offer from 'Eveline Hospital' which is famous among human and supernatural species like werewolf, elf, fae, mermaid etc. This is a world where all supernatural being exists harmoniously. Every species have their own rulers and government system. They all work together in order to maintain the peace. Although humans are weakest among all creature they are also most intelligent. Which made them as valuable and respected as other beings. But this was not the case in the past. In the past, supernatural beings used to look down on human for not having supernatural powers and mistreated them severely. Human could not take their humiliation which was becoming intolerable every passing day and declared war. Human were mocked by them for overestimating themselves. Since they never took human seriously they had no idea about lethal weapons human created at that time. As an intelligent being human also did not reveal the news about their weapons until the war. The war was extremely dangerous but human won the war beautifully. Since then nobody dared to look down on human ever again. But many lives were lost in that war and after math war lingered for a long time in both supernatural and human world. Specially the supernatural beings suffered a great lose in their population. Since they already had low reproduction rate it was clear that they cannot suffer anymore loses. So, they came with proposal for peace. Human are naturally peace loving and by then it was also proved that animosity with human won't do any good to the supernatural beings. So they decided to co-exist peacefully. Eveline Hospital is popular among all species; doctors and healers of every species dream about working here and Hiya's father got the opportunity to work there which is dream coming true. Hiya's father Anurup Ronen is not going to miss this opportunity and as a man who loves his family dearly he is never going leave his family behind. After careful consideration Ronen couple decided to move from River city to Green city. Which means Hiya needs to leave her friends and school and everything she has known for ten years of her life behind. As sensible child Hiya didn't make any fuss and accepted everything calmly. But that does not mean she is not sad about leaving everything behind. On contrary she was trying convince herself logically that everything is for their better future. No matter how she consoled her heart she did not have the courage to break this news to her best friend. Only one week is left before they move from the city. Her father wanted them to not talk about it until everything was final. So Hiya had to keep the news to herself until now. Today her father finally gave them the green signal to share the news with others.

Hiya sigh deeply, she has sitting under sun for whole afternoon just to calm her mind and gather some courage to face her friend. Now she is going break the news to her friend Lara. "Lara, I need to tell you something." Without waiting for Lara's response she continued," Lara, my family is going to move into Green city in a week" Lara was shocked for a moment after digesting Hiya's shocking declaration Lara's eyes begun to turn red and next second her eyes begun fill with water.
