After a long time, the dark forest awakens with the voices of cultivators in the middle of the night. Holding sharp swords in their hands, they keep searching restlessly for someone.

Meanwhile, hidden from them, two women were running towards the border region that separated the human and demon realms. They are badly wounded, and one of them is even carrying a newborn in her arms. The woman looks like she is about to collapse any second, but she keeps following the demon girl to escape from the place for the sake of her child who rests in her arms without knowing anything.

"Your highness, we are almost there, just a little more." Leading the way towards the waterfall, where the secret entrance to the demon realm is located, the demon girl speaks worriedly while looking at her queen.

"Mia, I don't think I can go any further. Take my child and escape from here." Knowing her condition well, the queen makes a wise decision even though it puts her in a difficult situation.

"Your highness, I can't leave you behind. We will survive together, please don't say such thing." Mia protests, her voice choked with emotion.

"I have already reached my limits; I won't survive.

From now on, he is your responsibility. Protect him…" Before handing over the child, the queen uses her magic on the child. The scales on his body disappear, and his golden pupils turn green. Seeing the confused look on Mia's face, she continued. "Until he reaches the demon realm, hiding his identity is very important. Go…"

Mia hesitated for a moment, but with no other options left, she moves towards the destination while holding the child.

The queen silently watches her child disappear from her sight and slowly stands, move towards the opposite direction with a determined expression, as if about to do something dangerous.

Somehow, without ending up in front of any enemies, Mia finally reaches her destination. Using her demonic magic, she tries to open the entrance inside the waterfall, that leads to the demon realm.

However, before she succeeds, someone attacked her from behind. Turning back, she sees a group of cultivators surrounding the place. With no other choice left, she fights back while summoning her sword through magic.

Even in that condition, she overpowers them through her physical strength, but never expects a sneak attack from a powerful opponent. His sword slashes through the air, severing her right arm which held the sword. In pain, she screams.

The men surrounding her recognized the enchanted sword, the Heavenly sword- a weapon said to be imbued with the power of gods. Its owner was none other than Chen Zeng, the formidable leader of the Chen Long sect. In awe and fear, they bowed their heads as Chen Zeng approached the scene.

"It's you again…" Seeing him, Mia furiously shouts.

Giving a cold smile, Chen Zeng throws away a severed head that he has carried all this way as a gift. Seeing her queen's lifeless face makes her heart sink. Tears blur her vision.

"Why?" Mia demands, her voice trembling with grief and anger. "Why did you kill her? What did we do wrong to you?"

"Isn't it your fault to coming here in the first place? I'm just following the rules…Wiping out a threat from its root." He replies with a cold face, as if he hasn't done anything wrong.

"You are a heartless monster!" Mia spits, desperation and pain lacing her words.

"Hey, I don't want to kill an infant. Finish them both off." Showing little interest in killing a newborn, Chen Zeng gave that opportunity to other cultivators standing there.

When everyone hesitated a moment, a man step forward willingly.

'Master told me to bring that child alive. If I don't kill that child, it will arouse suspicion in Leader Chen. What should I do?'

His sword is raised to kill Mia first, but before that can happens, Mia unleashed her last weapon. She uses her remaining powers to transport herself with the child while creating an explosion that sends shockwaves through the forest.

Many of them are deeply injured and some die. But Chen Zeng remains unscathed. However, after the commotion settles down, there was no trace left behind to find Mia and that child.

Meanwhile, on Longwei peak, where the Chen Long sect is situated.

Inside the Chen residence, in the dimly lit room filled with the lingering scent of medical herbs, a ten-year-old child regain his consciousness. Looking around in confusing, he walks towards the mirror hanging on the wall.

His hand trembled slightly as he reaches for the bandages covering half of his face. With a deep breath, he unwraps them. More than the sight of the scar, what startles him was his reflection that appears in the mirror.

"Who is this child?" He asked himself. "How did I end up as this child? Did I actually die in that accident? No, it must be a dream, Li Xin, wake up man… Wake up." Nervously he tries to awaken himself, he even slaps his face.

The pain, he feels make him realize it isn't a dream anymore. He has actually become a child. But suddenly, memories of the body flood into his head. His head feels heavy and throbs. Unable to withstand the pain, he falls unconscious to the floor.
