The Vault

At the root's base, where the darkness from the hidden leaf village converges, there was a man sitting on a throne. The man had short black hair and his left eye was covered in bandages. With an indifferent gaze he looked at the figure which was wearing a black mask that covered entire of the figures face, and a black cloak which hid the figures features, the figure was looking like the angel of death herself, who was kneeling in front of him. The figure being in front of him signified the ending of the mission.

"Report!" demanded the man sitting on the throne.

"Yes, Danzo-sama." replied the figure. "The boy was delivered to our orphanage with the mission scroll, we are ready for further procedures."

"Do it." Said the man on the throne as he placed a package that was wrapped in a white piece of cloth to the armrest of his throne. The man then got up from his throne and walked past the figure. When he was one step behind the figure he stopped and looked at the still kneeling figure. With a cold shine in his eye, he analyzed the figure in his head once more before heading out of his throne room.

When the man left, figure quickly got up from the kneeling position and took the package. As the figure in the black mask disappeared with the package, the man who had bandages covering his left eye was already in deep thoughts. He was revising the recent events and planning out the best for him and his village. "The outcome was far from optimal." he thought. "We must salvage the situation and cover up our tracks perfectly. The village will not be aware of the baby's existence, only then I can shape the future.".

When the figure finally arrived at the entrance of the cave located in the middle of an inconspicuous forest it was already midnight again. These kinds of forests were everywhere in the fire country, there was even a legend that the first Hokage, the founder of the village had personally made the forests with his legendary Mokuton element. The cave was not that deep and fairly open. If one would see the cave nobody would suspect that there would be a vault located under this cave.

As the figure entered the cave, the familiar chakra greeted the figure. This chakra as if it had a mind of his own, moved around the figure, occasionally gently caressing the mask that the figure was wearing or lifting the ends of the coat in a playful manner. This special chakra never ceased to amaze the figure, this chakra would cast a Genjutsu that would incline the person who triggered the trap to exit the cave, if the trespasser was not acquainted with the special chakra. This trap was extremely effective due to being a chakra based genjutsu, no materialistic input needed for the genjutsu to work, even experts in genjutsu would fall into it if they were not careful enough. To be unaffected by this chakra, one must take this chakra to their system at regular intervals. The figure released her chakra as well as the special chakra, intertwining the both chakras perfectly. As the chakras moved in harmony, they moved together into a seal that was carved at the top of the cave. The seal that was on the ceiling started to shine as the metal hexagonal door embedded in the back of the cave started to appear as if there was a thick fog was slowly uncovering it. The door was large and countless paper seals sticking on it. As seals overlap and create a visual cacophony, the figure in the black mask was standing in front of it, without a single movement or a single sound, the figure continued to stand in front of the large door lifelessly. This single door that had countless seal formulas intertwining, mixing together and separating without hindering each other and making the seal formula extremely complicated was the Fuinjutsu master's wet dream

"Found it." Said the figure while reaching for a seal that was indistinguishable in the sea of the seals that the door was covered in.

"Seal!" The figure shouted. "How ironic "the figure thought, "to open you must first seal".

As the figure's own distinct seal cut off the chakra that was supporting the other seals, the door slowly revealed stairs that leads to underground. As the figure slowly took the stairs leading to the underground the large hexagonal metal door shut behind the figure. As the figure climbed down the seemingly endless number of stairs, the temperature was steadily decreasing. Finally, at the bottom of the stairs a large room filled to the brim with laboratory equipment could be seen. The figure strolled through the lab equipment and reached the cabinet at the end of the large laboratory. The figure took out the package and unwrapped its cloth as the package revealed itself to be the key to the cabinet which the figure was standing in front of. The figure placed the key into the cabinets hole and with a satisfying click the cabinet opened. In the cabinet there was a strange pitch-black liquid in a glass container.

"That must be it." The figure thought as the figure took the container and placed in the bag that was hidden inside of the cloak the figure was wearing.

….

As I regained my consciousness again, I realized that I was not the place that I was in before. My hands automatically went to my stomach I felt as if I was twisting inside out. I was unfamiliar with this feeling, 'I never had this kind of agony, it is not exactly pain even through it makes me suffer.' I thought. As intrigued as I was, once again my instincts came over me as I started crying, but this time gentle and warm hands picked me up and pushed something warm against my mouth. As I try to focus my eyes and understand what was happening to me, I involuntarily started sucking as something warm filled my belly. All I could see was tones of pink and flesh as my agony ceased after I was full. A sudden wave of drowsiness hit me as I struggled to keep my eyes open. Before I know it, I was unconscious and sleeping in that warm feeling.

The nun looked at the small baby that was in her arms, after feeding him completely now the baby was sleeping soundly. The nun thought about her mission that she received from her masters.

"This is going to be a long one." She whispered to herself. This wasn't the first mission she received from the root to raise a child but it was her first time trying a baby this small. "Unless anything extraordinary happens, this small boy can't live four more years." She thought. "Well, it is useless for me to worry about such things, Danzo-sama never makes a move without ample preparations."

"Let's get you to your crib." She whispered to the baby as she moved towards the newly made crib that was in the corner of the room. She put the baby in his crib and left the small room, she would come in a few hours to feed the baby again but until then she had other kids to worry about.

Thanks for the input on the last chapter. Those two who commented on the last chapter made my day. Hopefully this chapter is also adequate. .d
