Introduction: The Chaotic World Tree

Once upon a time, a humanoid traveller planted a seed in Chaos. As years passed, the seed grew into a sapling. He was later known as the Creator or for the original gods, Father and the young tree, the Chaotic World Tree.

Three thousand gods were created to protect the tree. They were born pure of mind and intent, and considering each other as brothers and sisters. The Creator made 3000 palaces, each specific to a certain Chaotic Law and told them that they can leave the tree's protective shield only by mastering all of the laws. A Chaotic Ranking was erected to determine their strength and progress. The higher the ranking, the higher the fighting force and the more complex the Law or the combination of Laws.

Where the Chaotic World Tree matured, it started to bear fruit and the Creator left to continue exploring Chaos. Each Chaotic Year, the Chaotic World Tree will bear one fruit which when detached will become a world and float around the tree. There were three kinds of worlds, lower, mid and high. A world just born is a lower world and it will absorb world energy from the tree to develop.

Thus, it was possible to become a god. To be a god, you must find become immortal. To be an immortal, one need to be born in a high world and become the world's Ruler. After becoming a Ruler, by learn one of the Chaotic Laws, one can ascent. Only a World Ruler can travel through worlds and live in one of the three thousand palaces.

The biggest difference between an immortal and a god is that an immortal can be killed, but not a god. The only way a god can possibly die is by self-destruction. For the first three thousand Chaotic Years, those gods observed the worlds and cultivate, but as time passed, it becomes boring. Once a god was simply tired of existing. The other gods tried to convince him many times, but nothing worked.

The other gods lamented his death, but after a Chaotic Decade, he came back, becoming the first Ruler to ascent to godhood. Then, he recovered his memories and told the gods that being a god means that even the soul is indestructible. He only managed to destroy his body and his soul reincarnated into a nearby world. However, he was no longer tired of living because he found love.

As Ruler, he contacted other Rulers and fell in love with one. He began to purse that immortal and succeeded in becoming the first couple among the immortals. When he became a god, the name of his Temple was revealed to be Love and its Chaotic Rule was Love. Then, he became known as the God of Love, Lord Love in the Chaotic Ranking. Other gods also named their temple and received their respective title. For then on, the immortals could no longer call the gods by their chosen name, but only by their title. Affected by his adventure, some gods also rebirth and came back.

When an immortal ascent to god, he didn't get a rank in the Chaotic Ranking since it only recorded 3000 titles. He wasn't discouraged and learned other Laws. By the time he learned two Laws, he discovered that he replaced a former 2901st god in the ranking and even got his palace! All the gods were in uproar from this fact.

As many Chaotic Years passed by, the number of immortals keep growing and some of them became gods and even titled gods. This created three camps, the immortals, the gods and the lord gods, the latter fighting power completely surpassing the former and soon conflicts happened between the gods. The god was ruthlessly harmed and abandoned by its lover and self-destructed near the Chaotic World Tree to reborn and damaged it. Although it was a small injury that only took a Chaotic Year to heal, it raised the alarm of the all Lord Gods.

The Lord Gods gathered and talked to find a solution to prevent this from happening again. If one day some large scale fighting happened and harmed the tree or destroy one of the worlds, it would be disastrous. Thus, the God Council was formed to create regulations that the gods must act by to prevent gods from harming the tree or the worlds. The first regulation concerns relationship. Lord of Emotions, Lord of Love, Lord of Karma, Lord of Fate, Lord of Souls and Lord of Worlds put forward a trial called Karmic Trial.
