"Am sorry but this relationship is not going anywhere and it would be unfair to you cause deep down I don't love you and also the distance is killing me but I would have made it work out but I don't love you and I don't ever want you to feel as if am playing you, I respect and value you but am sorry."

Tears run down Tory's cheeks as she read the text message on her phone, she couldn't believe it, it was all over, she couldn't believe Brenden has left her. She kept reading the text again and again telling herself it wasn't true how could he live here, why would he. The words on the text kept echoing in her head.

She felt her heart breaking into a thousand pieces she wanted to scream at the top of her voice but couldn't because she did not want her mom to know that she had a boyfriend.

She felt so lonely, rejected, she needed someone to talk to but who could she talk to, almost everyone was waiting for Brenden to dump her, now he has and she can't tell anyone, she can't cry or look sad because people were waiting to make fun of her situation and it hurts, killing her in so many ways no one could understand.

She was already trying to fight away depression and the pain of her parents getting a divorce and now the only person she thought loved her as left her and didn't love her at all. she kept thinking and asking herself how is it possible for her to be in so much pain and not be bleeding, wondering why did he lie to her that he loved her when deep down he knew he didn't? why?.

But what has happen happened there was nothing she could do to change it and what hurts more is that he was the only person she had ever loved and still loves and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't see a life without him.

So she texted him back with tears in her eyes that she understood him and it was ok.

And she will always be there for him as a friend.

Tory knew it was not going to be easy but she had to try and live even if every breath she takes hurts.
