Hyemi informed his mother softly to not disturb the now resting child in his arms.

He was still in the room with the small Tau who had gurgled and waved his limbs in excitement as he waved a mybon feather above his head before closing his eyes from exhaustion.

Her face grew serious, looking in the direction the small girl had not too long exited.

"Second brother has handed the results over from her medical." Hyemi spoke up, broaching the subject he had wanted to clarify with his mother since the night before.

With that said, both headed towards the main house directly to the study, which was a secured area that can only be accessed by those from the first family. Anyone who dared to trespass would become a pool of blood, dying cruelly.

Opening a second screen, he sent a message to the second family's firstborn. With that finished, he then continued to converse with his mother before she left to return to the little girl.

Now that she has a home he bet that it could even be much faster once they feed her well enough.

There was a loud cry suddenly. Hyemi looked down at the small child who seemed to have read his mother's mind.

The boy wailed; while he did, it felt as if a powerful force was being pressed down on him. Hyemi felt somewhat confused by this; the reason is, the small child is merely a newborn, not even that old. The first mistress, on the other hand, felt her eyes narrow, wondering what should be the next move while looking down at the small child's teary eyes.

"Mother, what is it?"

"He has the... No... I thought... It shouldn't be-"

"Spit it out! What is it!?"

"He has a dormant power. Do you know why our family is being hunted?" the mother asked in an uninterested tone. Of course he was aware. Both of his parents had innate powers, he knew that he had they had been awaken for some time now.

This was a sore spot for him. How many times had assassins had targeted him?

Shot attacked, or his car bombed.

All of these happenings were due to one reason, their enemy was many and hidden.

"This power is the reason it will threaten the balance among the different factions,"

"Mother-"

"It is not time for us to speak of this. Just return him to her. He is probably missing her, which in turn is upsetting him since she is absent."

"I will, but you need to let me know soon. I will reach my twenty-first.." Hyemi's words trailed off unable to finish them even now after asking a few suns cycles ago.

The first mistress watched him with a sharp look in her eyes before nodding and replying, albeit unwillingly.

"Mmm, I will take him away before he weakens the seal,"

In a blur, she was gone, leaving him alone.
