"What did you say, the weakest?" Ethan asked again, unable to believe his ears.

"You forgot about the bravest."

"Yeah, but you're still the weakest, right?" He said in a mocking tone.

"Yes, I am. So what? You're also a loser, right?" Hearing this, Ethan's forehead throbbed wildly.

"Okay, now tell me how you can make me stronger," he asked with some hope.

"What are you talking about? I'm not going to make you stronger, but you're going to make me stronger."

"A system is supposed to help the host get stronger, and here you are asking me to help you become stronger. What kind of joke is this?" He said, anger visible in his eyes.

"Okay, okay, calm down. Maybe you misunderstood. Look, here's the thing. When you help me upgrade, you can get all the things you want to become stronger as well. It's like helping me is actually helping yourself, and upgrading means I am becoming stronger."

"And what do I have to do for you to become stronger or upgrade?" Ethan asked, exasperated.

"Nothing, just beast cores."

"Beast cores? What is that?" He asked in confusion.

"You don't even know that? I was right; my host is a dumb idiot."

"Stop your bullshit and tell me," Ethan wanted to bang his head on the wall. 'Oh God, even if you wanted to give me a system, at least you should have given me something nice. Why did you have to give me this shitty system?'

"Hey, I am not a shitty system, but the weakest system. Remember the name properly."

Ethan was tired of arguing with him. "Okay, tell me in detail what you can do."

As they talked, time passed in a flash, and morning came.

After listening to his explanation, Ethan came to understand what this system was all about.

The function of the system is very simple.

To understand it, you have to first know about the power system of this world.

In the Helios world, the power system is divided into two categories:

1. Grade - measures a person's potential, how much further he or she can go on the road to becoming supernatural. Grades are divided from E grade to SS grade. Higher grades allow a person to break through levels with minimal effort.

2. Level - as simple as its name suggests, levels are also divided from E level to SS level. The stronger the level you have, the stronger the power you can control.

Techniques are rare in this world because only the brightest people can create their own skills. As for weapons, it depends on the creator. If the creator is a level A supernatural being, then they can make a weapon up to A rank.

Currently, the system is called the weakest system because it has the following functions:

1. Host status - shows all the attributes, grade, and level of the host. Also details the techniques and weapons the host is using.

2. System status - shows the system's levels after an upgrade and its new functions.

After hearing the detailed explanations from the system, Ethan called out 'System' in his mind. Suddenly, a virtual screen popped out in front of him. He tried to touch it, but his hand went through the screen without any feeling, like air.

On the screen, there were two options:

"I was joking, you jackass. I am more intelligent than you think. I even know the reason for your world changing."

Hearing this, Ethan stopped in his tracks. "What did you say? You know the reason for all these changes?"

"Yes, but don't ask me now. First, go and grab something to eat. When we go hunting, I will explain in detail."

"Alright," Ethan nodded and left his apartment for a quick bite on the roadside with some milk and bread.
