Grinding Like A Gamer

"Hey system, does it feel weird if I talk out loud to you?" Aiden spoke in a soft tone as he stood on the ground.

More than three months had passed since he had last encountered his mother. The people in black had now started bringing him things to eat since he was almost six months old.

The system had been right about his body maturing earlier than humans because he could easily talk and walk while only being six months old.

The thing that creeped him out was that he could talk without anyone teaching him about it. But the system had told him that everything he heard was understandable by him because of the system.

So the demons talked in a different language but Aiden could still understand that.

< No host, it doesn't feel weird. > Aiden smiled and patiently waited for a few minutes before a system notification made his smile wider.

"Wow…" Aiden muttered while looking at his screen. He already knew what everything, except elemental energy, meant.

But one question that entered his mind after seeing his status screen was that why his intelligence which was 69.

< It's because it's nice host. No questions asked. > The system replied before Aiden could ask anything.

Since the system said this, Aiden had no problem with it. After all, it was nice.

Aiden then looked at the stat points he had and decided to save them since there was hardly anything he could do while being six months old.

'Skill screen.' Aiden then decided to check his skill screen to see what it was.

Aiden read with an interested expression as his gaze fell on the level of his skill.

After understanding everything, he decided to skip the job screen since there wasn't any way for him to have a job now.

As for his Liquid Changer skill, the only way for him to level it up was if he gained more Exp since every time he leveled up, he got two stat points and two skill points.

Aiden looked surprised when he read the word quests. For the past six months, only a single quest was assigned daily.

But judging from the words quests, more than one quest had been assigned.

"Yes." Aiden felt as though the quests were quite easy but perhaps that was because the system wanted him to grow quickly. He then looked forward as he slowly let go of his cot and started walking forward.

After walking for a few seconds, Aiden heard the system notification.

Aiden then walked back to his cot as he slowly grabbed its edges. He then took a deep breath and started doing squats. But just after doing his first squat, he felt his breath getting heavier.

'Is doing a squat as a baby that difficult? Though I don't think there is any baby who can answer this question.' He thought while bending down for the second time.

He then took a deep breath before going down for the third time and then for the fourth and at last, he did his fifth squat.

Aiden then climbed onto his cot as he laid down on it with a strained expression.

'System, his much time is left till the end of the quest?' Aiden started taking deep breaths as he still had two more tasks in front of him.

< You have four and a half hours host. Try doing one task every two hours and you will be able to complete all of them. > The system suggested as Aiden nodded.

After a few minutes, Aiden sighed and stood up as he climbed down his cot and got down on the ground.

The next thing he decided to do were press-ups as he spread his small hands on the ground and bent down before going up.

He then bent down for the second one and... crashed on the ground.

If someone came into his room to see him like this, they will definitely think that he is dead.

'No Aiden, you cannot give up.' Aiden thought with a sigh.

He then waited for a few minutes before doing another press up and after ten minutes, his mission was done.

"Grinding in games feel so easy yet boring but grinding exp in real life is tiring and hard." Aiden sighed as he laid down on the floor while taking deep breaths. "Guess one more to go."
