Chapter 10:Investigation Team

An unknown figure asking that he want to meet Ray, his father feel something suspicious about this figure.

"Who are you? why do you want to meet my son?"

"Sorry for not introduce myself, my name is Zect, I'm from the investigation team, I'm here to ask Ray about the incident that occured on the Claude kingdom forest."

Julius wonder why would an investigation team want to ask Ray did Ray did something wrong? he once again if they meant to harm Ray or not.

"I will accept, but if you hurt my son I will find you" it's a real deal Juliius is not joking he will do anything to protect his son.

"Don't worry sir I'm not gonna hurt your son"

"Okay then wait here I will call my son"

Julius seems trust Zect words.

"Ray the investigation team want to meet you, he's waiting outside"

Hearing Ray's father saying about the investigation team, Zed and Ryo freeze because they heard a rumor about the investigation team.

"Ray if you're going then let us come with you, did you heard about the rumors about the investigation team? They will do anything to get the information"

"Ryo you shouldn't believe the rumors about the investigation team, as long as you don't have the proof you can't accuse them, but I will allow you two to come with me if you guys insist.

"I'm sorry Ray I know we shouldn't believe a rumor, but we are insist to follow you right Zed?"

Zed and Ryo get the gist of what they want to ask Ray about because they are the witness of that incident.

"Huh I can't remember what happened to me the only thing that I remember is enjoyed my holiday with Ray and Ryo"

" I see, then should I tell him to leave? "

" No father I will go, I bet they will come here often if I don't accept their request"

" Alright then but son remember this if they try to hurt you I will not let them live"

His father's eye are so determine he will make them pay if something happen to his son.

"Then should we go?"

Zect already prepared the horse wagon outside Ray's house, looking at the wagon it's like a royal wagon.

Overwhelm with curiosity Zed lips move "Say, are you working with Lord Michael?"

After a short conversation they finally on their way to the investigation team HQ, but Zed must inform the academy that they had some business to do.

"Can we stop at the academy first I need to inf-"

The tension on Zed faces finally gone, he can calm now or maybe not?

Meanwhile on the academy, Zect subordinate already at the principal office and informing the principal about Zed.

"Huh! You say Zed is going to the Investigation team HQ?"

"Yes sir he's now with Chief Zect"

The principal didn't know why Zed is coming with the Chief Zect but he's sure Zed got involve with something.

"Alright then as long as my student is okay"

A moment of silent occur in the wagon, they got nothing to say? Or it just something about the investigation team make them didn't want to say anything.

"Do you guys also heard about the rumors about us?"

Finally the silent break, three of them shock they didn't expect the investigator will break the silent.

"Well I'll take your guys silent is a yes, I know you already heard about us they call us the investigator, actually we have name we are The Shadow, we investigate everything that occurs in the Claude Kingdom. You guys also heard about we will do anything to get information right? That actually not true even though we need the information we didn't do anything except they're a demon. That is why we are wearing a mask we dedicate ourself to this job"

"See? You guys shouldn't believe a rumors we didn't know what they gone through"

It turns out the The shadow has been holding back and ignore all the criticism and the bad-mouth from every races.

"I'm sorry sir, we heard so much rumors about you and didn't know what your team has gone through, by the way what is your name sir?"

"Hahaha it's okay I don't blame you for it the rumors spread, Sorry for the late introduction my name is Zect chief of The Shadow team"
