Once Almathea had gone out of the room, Maria walked back to her desk to continue with the pile of paperwork that waiting for her. Although being guild mistress seemed like an easy job on the outside, with so many people expecting to attain their identification from the guild for instance, it was not a simple job in the slightest.
Nearly five minutes later, the door to her office was knocked upon once more. By the way the person on the other side knocked, she immediately knew that it was Lashfen. She called out, allowing him to enter, without looking up at the door.
Lashfen walked into the room immediately. His steps were soft, and he stopped in front of the table. Although she was taller than he was, seeing as she was seated, she had to tilt her head back to look up at him.
