With eagle eye I watch… with, eagle eye I see… with missing arm I encourage… With, missing arm I remember… With zealot belief I pray, with zealot doctrine I rule… with shackled scars… I pay...

[ Mam! The cavern is overrun. I recommend you leave the battle to fight another day!] said a random blood knight
[HA... You would have me run from trolls! From these, tree monkeys! surely you jest! And here I thought the blood knights were unstoppable!] replied Julia
[Mam pardon, my rudeness but with all seriousness you need to leave! We will stay behind and…] but just as the blood knight was talking, scores of undead crept up behind them!
[ looks like no one is going anywhere now… they must have smelled the scent of blood… despicable undead! In truth though if I had to choose, I would rather die by their hand then get captured by these crazy trolls.] said Julia in disgust
[Listen I will stall the undead, where you will reorganize the knight to fight off the trolls...] Julia pauses for a second before saying [even if it means ignoring survivors or the dying!]
[Yes! My lady] said the knight with full conviction
But as he went to reorganize the troops leaving Lady Julia to fend off hordes of undead by herself, she simply smiled and said, [great now I don't have to hold back in fear of injuring my troops!]
With maddening glee in her eye, she set fire to the sky!
So furious was her fire that even the clouds turned but vapor in her wake, she tore the skies asunder with her falling meteors, while setting hordes of undead in fuming fire with her flamestrikes!
Their groans and moans were but music to her heart… though bad and disgusting there music was, deep down even though she got to let loose after such a long time, she felt no joy in it! For she is killing, that in which not only killed her people but in death also became part of the undead horde…
but so distracted in her cleansing of the undead she failed to notice the fighting behind her had stopped! She turned to see her fellow mages captured and gagged, while her fellow archer laid with broken bows, where her knights knelt with broken shields and warped swords.
[ Clap... clap... What a nice show you have given me... I must say it was really impressive... But I do wonder if using so much mana was worth it... I mean look just how exhausted you are... Tsk, tsk somebody forgot the basics about mana conservation... Ha, a vital mistake for a mage don't you think.] said Zul'jin with much mockery.
[shut up! Troll, I still have enough mana left to deal with you! Besides, should you really be the one celebrating when I see a sea of troll corpses before me!] replied Julia.
[Do you now? I wonder just how much more mana you can use before your hunger overcomes you! And as for the dead... Meh death to us is a normal occurrence thanks to your people... Besides we have a Loa God to take care of our dead but what about you! What gods do you have! NONE yet you lay claim to our lands!] replied Zul'jin in hateful zeal.
But as they were having their conversation Julia noticed her knights on the ground struggling to get up to continue the fight, and she figured she will just play along with her adversary for now until her men can recover somewhat.
Of course, what she didn't know was that they were left alive on purpose.
[Enough talk I will burn away, your filth sink off of this world forever!] yelled Julia as she cast a fire blast with one hand and with the other chanted a fireball.
Meanwhile back at the training hall
[Lanthios, though I Know your underdeveloped mongrel brain can't comprehend the complexities of elvish words, yet... I must at least have you know the blood knight creed.
But before that you must know some of its history. So, to make a long story short, where do you think blood knights get their power to wield the light, since the destruction of the sunwell? The light? Form arcane? Order magic No! None of these things!
They get it from a very special creature. A creature we just so happen to find, a creature that is called a Naaru! But we call it M'uru. Though accessing magic through it seems to shatter those with lesser minds if they can't handle absorbing her gifts.
But that's a story for another day, what you need to know is that since we don't extract our magic power through the light directly. Which means we are free, free to not have a moral compass like humans do!
Which as you might have noticed means we don't really need a strict creed to follow, but we do have one! For it instills discipline amongst our ranks! So here is the first one in a list of five.]
1. We follow orders to the end! Even if they are suicidal! We don't question or think we are to simply act!
2. If a fellow member is too injured to continue on the mission or is turning, we kill them without hesitation!
3. We are to never EVER disrespect our emblem! For doing so is equivalent to traitorous behavior, which is set for immediate execution.
4. You are to protect any and all blood elf citizens to the death
5. And most important of all… you must never show fear! Even in the most dir. of situations
[As you might have noticed that some of the rules in the creed, I just gave are vague in their meaning… that is intentional for we leave it up to our members to interpret their own understanding of the 5 for they are but guidelines in your early walk as a blood knight.]
Meanwhile back at the battlefield
As the blood Knight laid bare on the floor they watched as their leader boldly fought their adversary! They watch as she throws fireball after fireball, they watch as she blinks in and out of vortexes!
They watch as her ice shield absorbs roaring flames from a monster, they watch as she screams from being zapped by lightning while being burned by pillars of fire. For every pain she felt was pain they felt, for every burn she felt, was a blister they felt, for any fear she felt... Was maddening for them...
As their legs struggled, they were wrath with anger... Anger at the trolls for they were watching all the while! But mostly anger at themselves! For any knight the action the trolls did couldn't have been anything but the worst form of humiliation a knight could suffer! but even more so that painful humiliation paled in comparison to the feeling of weakness they all felt.
however, filled with righteous fury they burned their bind by light, and picked up any weapon lying next to them, whether it was graceful or not! With weapons in hand, they remember their creed. One they must complete their mission no matter what!
So, they charged at the trolls, two one must kill their fellow men if they can't continue the mission! So, some knight chose to ignore the trolls... those knights... thrusted their weapon right into the bellies of the captured women! Much to the shock of the trolls!
But with sobbing tears, the men stabbed, with sobbing tears the men killed! But with joyful tears the women gave thanks for they were free from the suffering that was to come.
For even in the worst situation a knight must stayed true to his creed…number three, a knight must never disrespect his emblems, so they raised their flag high into the sky! number four they must protect their citizens no matter what, thus some knight set fire to the civilians corpses by the carts..
for protecting the honor of the dead is a form of protection, for trolls love to use the dead in their voodoo magics! Rule five, one must never show fear not matter the cost! From the very start to the very end each and every knight held this one rule above all others till their end.
But the knights actions only filled the trolls with rage, so much so they were about to kill the surviving knight when Zul'jin ordered them to stop! For he had successfully captured Julia alive to the dismay of the knights.
[O! Such a shame all the women were killed... But oh well… I guess you will just have to service all the men yourself then, ugh mage…] said Zul'jin with an evil grin.
[ You monster!] yelled Julia
[Ah! I thank you for the compliment] said Zul'jin when one of his troll commanders came to him and asked [sir what about the surviving knights?]
[As much as I would like to sacrifice them to our Loa gods... I think letting our new friend here watch as her compatriots are fed to the undead would be a better use for them! HAHA] said Zul'jin with an exasperated expression.
[Ah! But before you do that make sure they watch our mage friend here, suffer a little so that they can relish in the fact that they failed their charge.]
