Death Again

The woman who could barely stand upright on her two feet grabbed the collar of the person who had stabbed her. She couldn't feel the knife inside her body. However, it did feel hot and her body was soaked in sweat.

She pressed down the area where the knife was then slowly raised her head to look up at the man who had done it. Her face started turning pale as the pain started to kick in and her beautiful brown eyes were sharp but filled with tears locked in them.

The person who had stabbed her was none other than her own husband. The pain started to make its way to all the parts of her body, making her legs heavy and her hands shiver. Her legs were no longer able to bear her weight.

The blood oozed out of her body, making it difficult to stop it using her hand. She pulled her murderer closer, enough to reach his ear so that none of her words would escape his ears.

"Was it fun?" She asked and then pushed him away from her in rage and disgust, but he didn't let go of the knife that was stuck inside her. Thus intensifying her pain as the knife got pulled out a little.

Her spine arched in response to the severe pain and her head started to spin. Her sight blurred making it difficult for her to see anything.

In the darkness that covered them, only a little beam of light emerged from the door from behind her but it was enough for her to be able to look at her husband's evil smirk.

"Yes!" He replied with a grin. "I hate you."

"I know." That was something she had always known. He hated her even more than he hated her father yet she married him thinking he might change. But my god she was so wrong!

He pulled the knife out of her abdomen, making her spine bend further in and her legs lose its balance yet she stayed strong, not falling. A scream left her throat, the next second.

She pressed the wounded area and slowly stepped behind but stopped as soon as she reached the wall she had been aiming for. She crashed into the wall and then slowly slid down.

Her husband enjoyed the sight of her being supported by the wall and exhausted and bleeding like a neurotic monster. After the young lady had settled down on the ground, her husband pulled the tablecloth from the dining table, making everything fall from the table with a loud Bang!

He started wiping the knife and then threw it on the empty dining table after he got rid of his wife's blood that had been dripping down the knife.

The wounded woman looked at his activity with eyes that were barely staying open and had a hazy vision.

'That's his habit, every time he kills someone he always cleans the weapon he uses.' she thought.

Just a few minutes ago the couple were enjoying dinner together after a long time. The husband had left after getting the inheritance saying he wanted to expand the empire, leaving the household in the care of his wife.

'Two months ago he kissed my forehead lovingly making me think I succeeded in changing him. But looking at the situation today, I failed again.'

"You shouldn't have married me knowing how much I hated your family." He sat on his knees in front of the lady.

"I know. I made a mistake again. " She hissed and tears left her eyes due to the unbearable pain.

"Again?" He raised one of his eyebrows but after a while let them rest again. " Anyways, looking at how much blood you have lost. You shall die in the next ten minutes. Any last words? " He said keeping his face straight without any expression.

"Just one question. Why do you hate me so much?" The lady still had the nerve to ask that question. It isn't like she loved him, she hated him as much as he did but she just couldn't refuse the marriage her father had arranged for her. She wasn't given much of a choice. "Do not say because of my family."

" Trust me Aisha, you make an amazing wife material but what I need is not a wife. I need a warrior and that you not. And on top of that, you are the daughter of my greatest enemy. I don't trust you at all." He finally sat down folding his leg unbothered by the blood below him.

This is my first serious book after writing many practice books.

Also, I have been working on this story since last few months, probably almost a year. I finally had the courage to upload it here. So well, here it is.

Hope you all enjoy it and give a meaning to my hard work!
