Chapter 1: The New World

"Huh? Why can't I move? What is this place? There is a light, is this a tunnel?

"He's almost here, one more push."

"There he is. Congratulations it's a healthy baby boy."

Daniel looked around where he was and saw that there was a tired looking woman laying on the bed surrounded by a few women while in the arms of one woman that was cleaning him. The women, or doctors, were slightly confused that Daniel wasn't crying, but they weren't overly concerned as it has happened occasionally. Daniel was then handed over to the woman on the bed who gave a tired look that was filled with motherly love and affection.

Daniel realized that he was no longer an old man in his old world. Instead he is a newborn baby brought to a whole new world. He could tell this was a new world by the obvious lack of technology and a weird energy like feeling that surrounded his body.

"Grrrr!" While he was looking around and getting used to his new body and environment, he noticed that his stomach was empty and begging for something to eat. His mother seemed to read his mind and began to breast feed the new baby boy. Since there was nothing else that he could do, Daniel began going through all the knowledge from his previous world while trying to finish the research he was working on before he passed away. He may no longer be able to receive the Nobel Prize, but everything he did was to better understand the world.

Daniel was a renowned scientist in his past life. A Ph.D in mathematics, chemistry, and physics. He spent most of his life researching new topics to lead to a better advancement in energy and energy storage. That wasn't all, he made a few discoveries that made life habitable on other planets for a short time and discovered new equations in calculus. He made sure to dabble in all areas of mathematics, chemistry, physics, and biology. But he wasn't just some smart old guy. Daniel made sure he stayed fit by working out and took karate, jujitsu, and Kungfu. He also went on hunting and camping trips on minimal supplies a few times a year to keep his survival instincts intact. His birth in this new world will inevitably flip the cultivation world on its head and redefine the word genius.

Meanwhile outside of the room.

"How is he?" A rough looking older gentleman said the moment a young man walked out of the room where Daniel was born.

"Hmph! I don't know why you are here or what ulterior motive you have, but you would "happy" to know that he is very healthy, and everything went smoothly."

[Tsk! Damn brat, just you wait. I will end your life soon enough.] The rough looking gentleman, Rob, is the elder brother of the young man, Rick. They are from the poor Li clan in a poor town in the small country Arcana, on the continent of Olympus. Ever since Rick was born, he was praised as a genius by the Li clan and was a priority to receive cultivation resources. Rob was always envious of Rick and tried to use underhanded means to steal those resources. The issue was that Rob is only at the 3rd level of Qi Gathering, whereas Rick is at the 7th level of Qi Gathering. Rob wanted nothing more than to kill his younger brother, but the patriarch of the clan, who is at the 9th level of Qi Gathering, and the Ancestor of the clan, who is at the 2nd level of Qi Condensation, would cripple and banish Rob immediately due to Rick being a priority.

Now that Rick has a son, Rob is willing to do everything he can to get rid of Rick's family and take Rick's resources for himself so that Rick doesn't hog all the scarce resources for himself. Rick doesn't usually care what Rob tries to do, but he is not willing to lose his family over a stupid and selfish elder brother. Therefore, Rick is willing to do anything to protect his family, even if that means killing his elder brother.

Inside the room.

Daniel's mother, Stella, is feeding Daniel while having a tired and worried expression while her eyes full of motherly love and affection stare at the feeding baby. She keeps muttering to herself that she will protect Daniel no matter what and make sure that he grows into a strong cultivator that can protect himself and go out to explore the world he was just brought into.

Hearing her muttering, Daniel is slightly surprised that he can understand the language that she is speaking but pays it no mind and silently vows that he will protect his mother and grow to be the strongest cultivator ever known.

Five years later, Daniel is with his family in the Li clan. He tried the best he could to act like a baby but having the mental age of an 80-year-old it is difficult to act like a newborn. Hearing that he is in a cultivation world, Daniel couldn't wait until he could start cultivating. Therefore, when he was alone, he would secretly train his body by doing push-ups and sit-ups. Then, on his fifth birthday, he decided to ask his parents to teach him how to cultivate.

"Mom, Dad, can you teach me how to cultivate?"

"Hmmm… I guess I can take you down to the library and pick out a technique for you." His dad told him.

"Yay! Thank you, Dad!"

So the father and son duo decided to take a trip down to the clan's library to pick out a cultivation technique that would be best suited for Daniel. Little did Rick know, that Daniel would not pick out a technique from the clan but rather gather information on how the techniques were made and then develop one himself. If this was made public, the entire world would be in an uproar about a five-year old boy developing a cultivation technique. For as far as this world knows, cultivation techniques take a profound amount of knowledge and hundreds if not thousands of years to create. This is due to the lack of overall knowledge and technology in this world. Daniel may be a five-year old in appearance, but his mental age is over 85 years old with over 60 years' worth of knowledge that would turn this world upside down.
