Prologue: The Purple Door

People swarmed Sorin and his Friends, some with microphones, some with cameras or phones, others had nothing in their hands. Their eye glowed with hunger, hunger for answers. There was so much noises, so much confusion, Sorin didn't know how much more he could take. Him and his three friends just got done saving the town from the werewolves and vampires. Now the town knew they existed and they knew he was a witch and that his best friend, Ash, was a vampire.

"Is she gonna kill people too?" Some whispered the question, others asked him or his two human friends, Helen and Austin.

Sorin was about to defend her, but then a door appeared in front of him and two shadowy hands reached out and grabbed him.

Ash watched as her childish best friend was pulled through a door, a door that just randomly popped up and then disappeared in a second it closed. The town went silent.

. . .

It's been a year since the incident, Ky and his friends biked around town. He's gotten stronger since, and started carrying potions on him and his spell book from school. Even though nothing has happened since, he still wanted to be prepared. He almost lost his life last time, didn't want that happening again.

"Calm down Ky. It's over." His best friend, Jett, yelled from ahead of him, he could always tell when he was stressed.

"I know, I know." He sighed, looking down at his from tire. When he looked up he pressed down hard on his breaks, panic rose in him.

Right in front of him, in the middle of the fucking road, was a door. It was made of wood, painted a dark purple, and carved on it was a walrus's head. Ky was unable to break fast enough and the door slowly opened. He tried turning but his front tire wouldn't move and he ran right through the door.

. . .

Elvira sat in her room, Cheerio ran happily in her wheel. It's been only a week since her and her friends took on Leon, and already things are back to normal, well, sorta. Her and her father goes out to eat at times, and have family dinners, talking about their day and actually spending time with her, sometimes he'd invite Elvira's girlfriend, Geico, with them.

"What ya reading?" Elvira looked up at her hamsters cage, that was another thing that changed, her hamster talks.

"A book Geico gave me, it's about-" Elvira was cut off by a door appearing infront of her. She sat up and Cheerio opened her cage. The door was made from wood and painted dark purple, with a walrus's head carved on it. Then it opened.

Elvira grabbed her phone, the book still in her hand, and them shadowy hands, came from behind her and pulled her through the door. Cheerio jumped off the dresser and clung to Elvira's leg as she was dragged into the door.
