Volume 001 The Start of a New Beginning: Chapter 31 - Twins (didn't finish editing yet)

| Day 8 (11:42 PM) |

When Rem left for the auction while dressing up as a male, she sensed a huge amount of killing intent, which wasn't directed at her. Rem's curiosity chose to go towards the killing intent to see what was happening.

The moment she arrived, she met a beautiful girl with long snowy hair and icy blue eyes. Next to her was a boy who looked similar to the girl. The boy was handsome, had the same hair as the girl except it was shorter, and he had cold, icy blue eyes. Surrounding them were people in black.

One of Rem's evolving requirements was to kill 20 humans. Rem took this chance to get rid of 14 assassins.

It turned out the two were twins. The female, a surprisingly cheerful person, introduced her and her twin brother to Rem. The female's name was Yukino while the male's name was Yukio. Unlike Yukino, Yukio showed no emotions.

Rem missed the auction, so she decided to go to the Adventurer's Guild and become an adventurer with her current identity. She then took as many hunting quests as she could, leaving to complete them.

Volume 001 The Start of a New Beginning: Chapter 32 - Speedrun (didn't finish editing yet)

Thanks to the system's map function, Rem managed to complete all of her quests in a breeze. As Rem completed her quests, she gained many E-ranked mana stones she needed for her and the egg to evolve. Rem submitted all her completed quests, surprising everyone. She had to wait a week for her to get her quest rewards.

Once Rem got outside, Nor suddenly popped up from the shadows. He offered to give Rem a Shadow Leaf, the last thing Rem needed to evolve. Nor's condition was for Rem to complete a mission.

Rem's mission was to find out more about what was going on in the Dark Forest. She had to kill everyone that seemed suspicious.

Rem accepted the mission and went to the Dark Forest immediately.

Volume 001 The Start of a New Beginning: Chapter 33 - Solo Mission (didn't finish editing yet)

| Day 9 (3:27 AM) |

Rem entered the Dark Forest. She could smell something horrible. She followed the smell, arriving at an underground base. There, she met many level 60 guards.

When Rem went deeper inside, she met four people in black and red cloaks. They were all level 80. There was a huge magic circle that looked like it was drawn using blood. In the middle were dead people and surrounding them were candles. At the front was a black crystal emitting an eerie aura. Those people looked like they were doing a ritual.

The system claimed that Rem could beat them. Rem trusted the system's words and decided to fight those people and maybe even get some information out of them. This was her mission after all. However, Rem only managed to kill one of them. She was injured too heavily and was on the verge of death.

That was when Rem activated Auto Fighting Mode. When she did, her eyes glowed bloody red and before she knew it, she killed 2 more, leaving 1 alive. The last one swallowed something that instantly killed him.

Rem shattered the orb, causing it to explode. Rem teleported out of the underground base before it collapsed.

Volume 001 The Start of a New Beginning: Chapter 34 - Nemesis Guild (didn't finish editing yet)

Rem teleported to Nor and told him everything that happened during her mission. Rem officially joined the Nemesis Guild and received a coin that looked like a platinum coin. It's used for communication purposes. The coin was specially made for Rem. It had a sabertooth tiger craved on it.

Nor gave Rem the Shadow Leaf.

When Rem arrived at her dorm room, she immediately chose to evolve, blacking out right after.

Volume 001 The Start of a New Beginning: Chapter 35 - Ruler of Beasts (didn't finish editing yet)

Rem was out for 2 days. She shifted into her beast form.

She looked the same, except she was a lot larger; about the size of a tiger. Her teeth looked similar to that of a sabertooth tiger and she now has two tails instead of one.

Rem checked her stats, noticing that she had a role. Her role was the "Ruler of Beasts," but she didn't get any powers from that role until she gained the beasts' trust.

Rem became even more powerful and she got a lot of new skills. She fulfilled all the requirements to create skills using her skill, Creation.

Volume 001 The Start of a New Beginning: Chapter 36 - Creating Skills (didn't finish editing yet)

Rem created a few skills. She created "Silent Blade Arts" and "Shadow Creation." Rem could now use any weapon, attack without making any sounds, attack while using double her speed, and attack using triple her strength. She could also create live beings that only listen to her, using her shadow element. She created a bird that looked like a crow, naming it Karasu.

Volume 001 The Start of a New Beginning: Chapter 37 - Crafting (didn't finish editing yet)

Rem was told by the system that she could craft weapons herself. Rem first went to the Adventurer's Guild to get her rewards. She couldn't craft anything, but she could finally hatch the egg she received from the dragon.

Volume 001 The Start of a New Beginning: Chapter 38 - New Companion (didn't finish editing yet)

| Day 11 (7:00 AM) |

Rem hatched the egg, naming the red-scaled baby dragon, Roy. Rem brought the dragon with her to the Dark Forest, feeding the dragon beef jerky. Roy seemed to love the beef jerky.

Roy fought the Dark Wolves, easily defeated them, and instantly got to level 20. Roy used his skill, Hellfire, and destroyed a third of the forest.

To evolve Roy, Rem needed D-ranked Mana Stones, Evolving Gems, Shadow Stones, and Flame Stones. To get the Evolving Gems, Rem needed to find a Temple. Using the system's map, Rem went on a search for a nearby Temple.

After a few hours, Rem was in a swamp. She told Karasu to help find the Temple, which the map said, was nearby. Meanwhile, in Arka City, a Tower popped out of nowhere.

Rem entered the Temple Karasu found and defeated a lot of high-level monsters.

After more than 8 hours, Rem only gained 3 levels.

Rem finally arrived at a new place. She broke a barrier and met a wind spirit. The spirit could speak and gave Rem a Mistral Necklace and Wind Gem if she could help it. Rem agreed and released the spirit. The spirit turned out to be a Wind Spirit. It turned into a woman who claimed to be named Alizeh.

Rem left the Temple while Roy slept through the whole thing.
