The portal

A portal. Some think it goes a few miles away, some think it might go to a new dimension all together. But the question is, would you go through it? If it was big enough to let you bring what ever you wanted with you, even a house of all the things you couldn't live without, would go through it? The danger is that you might not come back. You might be teleported into a pit of lava. Or worse, be sent too the backrooms. But, you can go if you want. I and my team of specially trained pups have been researching a strange portal that opened up, just behind our house. It was in the middle of a feild. Indians used too hunt in it, so supernatural happenings wasnt something new. Floating rocks, glowing rocks, talking rocks, powered rocks, you name it. Wow, that's a lot of rocks...

I walk outside. It was a cool may morning. me and the 5 pups for the mission were behind me. Bandit, my security pup, aid, my medical pup, Rover, my vehicle specialist. He could fly, fix, and destroy anything with an engine. I mean, a glider would suffice for this little guy. Data, the hacker, cool fluff of the group. She always made Bullet jealous with everything she could do with a simple phone. And then Buddy. My go too pup for anything that may arise. My first pup actually. He was the head of the pups, and I understood why. I trained him in every feild. Almost nothing was too much for him.

We made the fateful decision of going through it. Now, we had no idea where this lead. None. But, this team never stepped down from a challenge. We all were geared for the worst. This portal, was huge. I mean, gigantic. We are a special forces kinda deal, so our arsenal was pretty good. Planes, tankes, stack's of supplies, ect. "I think we are all set sir" said Bandit. We sent a harrier jet through, a couple ATVs and utvs, a box of medical, box of electrical, box of anything major me might need was in there. We had gear on us as well. We looked like a war was just on the horizon. Every pup had there specifically equipment pack, and they were stacked.

We stood in front of the portal, in a line. It was majestic. I turned around too our house, I might never see it again. Grandma and hover was standing on the porch waving. "Take good care of grandma! We'll be back, I promise!" Hover nodes and waves. I could have sworn a tear went down his face. But, he starts pointing. U turn too see the team already going through. "Really?" I thought, walking toward it. I was ready, but nothing is gonna stop my heart from racing. This might be a once in a life time experience. A teenager going through a portal would be on the headlines of every news paper and news network for weeks! "Here goes nothing" Waving through the portal was an extreme level of sensations. It was almost like walking through a water fall. I felt dryness on the other side. I took a breath, and stepped through.
