Prologue

In the vast open void of darkness, nothing is to be seen. It was just an empty space. However light start to shine to fill the emptiness with its bright and fulfilling shine, revealing the planet earth. A voice rang out from the empty space surrounding the earth. A voice that has the fervor of an old soul, filled with wisdom and intelligence. A voice that sounds calming and reassuring, as if it was to wraps its arms around you like a protective force.

"Gather around, friends, and listen to the tale... of The Great Awakening. It all started in the 21st century during mankind's peak of achieving their greatest accomplishment, creating the first, man-made black hole. As mankind was deep in celebration, a slight mishap has occured in the experiment. A great pulse emerge from the black hole and surge throughout the planet. This great pulse, to much of their surprise, has no effect on them. However, as they inspect even closer, they can now see creatures of mythical proportions. Creatures that were thought to be only been told through the tales by mouth and children's story books, are now a reality. Not only that, great heroes and gods from all mythology are as real as the air that surrounds them. At first, humanity was frightened by such a reveal, but as they study.... listen....... and even talk, their fears were lessened and replaced with awe and curiosity. Soon, a representative from their respective country and mythos meet in a grand ceremony and vow to respect and honor each other, implementing new laws and adapting to the needs of everyone, making everyone equal and free. But...... not all think the same way. Not only are the good walk amongst humanity, the dark, rogue elements also emerge to cause trouble. At first, it was small scaled and petty crimes were committed, but soon.... invasions...... mass genocide....... destruction...... and war follow whenever and wherever it goes. The cries for help gave rise to a new group of individuals, chosen by their gods and leaders to protect the masses and stop the forces of darkness. They are.... The Mytholerians!"
