Chapter 1Chapter 1

Fuyuki City

It all happened so quickly, Shirouko Emiya, also known as Shirou Emiya was just too reckless and unpredictable. With that, she saved the life of her Saber Class servant from both near decapitations from a berserker and near destruction from Archer's blast. With that, she was able to drag her servant away, saving her life but at a cost. Doing so she took a bad injury from Berserker's weapon.

As Shirou managed to get to safety, Saber began to berate Shirou for her stupidity. Only to be interrupted by her master who started to cough up blood as well as clutching a wound on her arm. Most likely from the ax sword swipe on Berserker's part. Saber then realized that something else had happened. As the blood stains covered Shirou's shirt, there was a strange aura and bright light coming from under it.

"Did she get herself hurt?" Rin asked, dashing toward the duo, and was ready to berate Shirou until she noticed her injury.

"Yes, but something is happening to her. What is that glow in her chest?" Saber asked, pointing at the amulet.

"Shirou what is that? What are you hiding?" Rin asked, noticing the light, and began questioning Shirou.

Shirou looked down and put a hand through her soaked shirt and pulled out a strange pendant. It was too bloody to describe its appearance, but had it been clean they would have noticed a gold-like outer shell with more than half of the pendant having the shape of a crescent moon. Only now the blood on it started to make it change colors creating a black-purple mixed color over the glass.

"There's an unstable amount of mana in that thing. What is that thing?" Saber said, looking at the item in both interest and worry.

"It was a gift my adoptive father Kiritsugu left before he died. He said it was like a scale that determined morality. It also helped him whenever he felt like he had no purpose." Shirou explained while wincing through the pain.

"Well, clearly Kiritsugu must have been a powerful mage thinking you wouldn't activate it. Because it looks like it's ready to explode or something." Rin said while Saber looked down putting two and two together.

You see Saber was actually the same saber class servant summoned in the last holy grail war. Another thing worth noting was that her master's name was Kiritsugu Emiya. It was only now that she began to realize the connection, seeing as Shirou has the same last name. Something she would want to talk with her about later.

"Shirou you need to get rid of it!" Saber said, ordering Shirou in an attempt to save her master.

"Why?" Shirou asked.

"Because that thing is going to explode like a grenade! Look, it's already smoking!" Saber yelled, pointing out as the pendant began to create a cloud of black smoke.

Shirou looked up to see Berserker making his way toward them. The pendant meant everything to her ever since her adoptive father died, but she couldn't put both herself and the girls at risk if it explodes. So maybe it's actually a weapon Kiritsugu used and gave to her to defend herself. So with that, she decided to think quickly and tossed it at Berserker.

"Stupid Big Sister," Illya said, looking amused as she believed Shirou had lost her fucking marbles.

Berserker was going to ignore it when suddenly, the pendant exploded sending him flying back. The pressure of the mana escaped the pendant as a mixture of lights began to lighten the sky. When the light died down, the sky began to drop lots of black and white feathers around the pendant revealing someone under all the mess. The stranger has golden eyes and long silver hair that curves up into sharper spikes at the end, and three vertical dots on her forehead.

She is wearing a torn-up and bloodied red dress with sharp black frills at her waist, chest, and a white section along her torso. She also wore white gloves which had numerous rips that go up to her upper arms, and black stockings which also had a few tears, alongside a pair of white high heels.

"Who is that?" Shirou asked, looking at the quite beautiful stranger in the distance.

"Must be another servant. Although I'm not sure which one." Saber implied, sharing her opinion on the current subject.

Rin looked at the servant with her eyes, trying to detect her magical energy. Only for her eyes to dry up quickly making her close them to reduce the pain she just felt.

"I think she is, but I couldn't figure anything else," Rin said, opening her eyes once again and looking at Shirou and her servant. "It's like there's a barrier around her."

"Well we've already met Lancer and Berserker is still recovering. So that must be either Caster or Assassin." Saber said, giving a quick suggestion on what servant this new arrival could be.

Meanwhile, the servant kneeled down, picked up the pendant, and gave it a quick rub before putting it in between her cleavage. Then suddenly Berserker reappeared and was about to slam his ax sword down on the woman. The blond stranger turned quickly and materialized a long katana, blocking the attack, surviving both the weight and force of the attack.

"Kaka! You're quite enthusiastic, aren't you?" The stranger asked, keeping the attack at bay with relative ease.

Berserker roared as he continued to slam his axe sword at the woman before him. The stranger for her part felt annoyed and dematerialized her sword, easily catching the ax sword with her bare hands. The blond soon ripped the ax sword out of Berserker's hands, tossing it aside.

"Hey, muscles! Fight me like a man!" Naruko said, cracking her gloved knuckles and staring at the hulking giant in front of her.

Berserker was about to land the first punch when he saw the bright arrow coming from Archer heading towards them. Naruko rushed toward the arrow before kicking it away like a soccer ball, sending it back in the same direction it came from.

Berserker just scratched his head wondering what just happened until they heard a loud explosion in the distance

"Archer? Did you see that?" Rin asked, communicating with her servant.

"Rin I was hit by that. The roof where I'm standing is gone. I need to reposition myself, but I think arrows might not work on her. After all, she practically kicked it with her bare feet..." Archer said telepathically.

"She's got to be some kind of assassin..." Rin said.

"Probably, but it doesn't exactly explain her attire," Archer said. "Only that it means her master must be nearby. No master would be this reckless to send their servant alone without a strategy like Lancer."

The two servants soon engaged in battle with Berserker dashing toward Naruko with both of them getting into a brief grapple. Berserker pushed Naruko back, following with two punches that Naruko easily dodged before landing a punch to the servant's jaw, sending him flying away easily.

Naruko chased after him only to be grabbed by the throat and quickly headbutted. Berseker grabbed a hold of her legs and began slamming her into the concrete before throwing her away. Naruko swiftly got control of herself and skidded briefly against the floor before getting tackled by the hulking behemoth.

Berserker landed two punches and as he was about to send out the third hit he was hit by a blast of energy, sending the rampaging berserker flying backward. Naruko dashed toward Berserker, with the servant also coming at her. Both servants proceeded to punch each other, with their fists clashing and creating an explosion. The shockwaves sent everyone witnessing the fight backward.

"▃▃▅▅" Berserker roared, looking at an unscathed Naruko.

"Hold on, my All Speak is a little rusty," Naruko said, coughing into her hands before also roaring. "▂▂▃▃▅▅▅ーーー!!"

Everyone, even Berserker was surprised at the fact a non-Berserk servant was able to speak and understand that.

"That is not an assassin," Rin said as she continued to watch the fight which the newcomer was beginning to easily dominate, surprising her and everyone present.

"It's not a caster either. Both classes are too physically weak to give off that much power." Saber said, agreeing with Rin's analysis.

Meanwhile, Iliya wasn't pleased with what she was seeing. It didn't help that the stranger started to take to the skies as a pair of large bat-like wings grew from her back.

The stranger in turn used his distance to create a massive ball of dark energy in a single hand, throwing it down at Berserker who wasn't fast enough to dodge. The ball soon imploded in itself before violently exploding outward, damaging Berserker and sending those caught by the shockwave flying back once again.

After a few minutes, the smoke and debris cleared, revealing Berserker turning red once again as his wounds healed.

"Ara~ Either you have some decent regeneration or...you aren't mortal. Either way, I had enough and my wife is likely ready to beat my ass if I don't get home, like right now..." Naruko said, floating down toward the floor as her wings materialized. She summoned a few black chains, sending them toward Berseker.

The agile Berserker avoided them until one wrapped around his hand and then another grabbed his neck. Trying to rip his restraints off, Berserker found himself being turned into a cocoon made of chains, rendering him immobile. Keeping her chains restrained around her adversary, the woman landed in front of Berserker, expecting answers.

"So tell me, who are you?" Naruko asked, only to receive a roar from Berserker. She soon turned her head at the approaching group. "You! You three tell me what's going on. Why did he attack me?"

"Shirou, get back down!" Saber said, restraining her master from doing something stupid. "You don't know what she's capable of!"

"It's ok, I don't think she's a threat. Better do what she says if we don't want another fight." Shirou said, limping toward the stranger while observing the destroyed area.

"You're hurt," Naruko said, noticing Shirou's injury. "Would you like some medical attention?"

"I would, but..." Shirou said before noticing that the platinum-blonde woman was right in front of her and the rips along her dress began to close up.

"Lift up your shirt, so I can heal you...Well, at least try..." Naruko said as her hands began glowing with a light green light.

Saber gasped and thought it was a trap, pouring mana into her legs for more speed. As she got closer, she prepared to swing only to find herself bound by chains.

"Saber!" Shirou cried out, worrying for her servant.

"I'll let her go when I'm done. Clearly, someone such as herself believes in attacking while my guard is down." Naruko said with a shrug. "Might as well grab the other ones," Naruko said, raising her hand, grabbing Illya and Rin with her chains, and dragging them towards her. "I can't do anything about the woman with arrows, but I'm hoping one of you can draw her out," Naruko said, looking at the girls.

"Archer, stand down..." Rin said.

"Rin I can..."

"Now Archer," Rin said.

Fine." Archer said, making her way to Rin and everyone else.

Shirou just stood there as the woman healed her. She could only hope someone clears this mess up.

A few minutes later

The stranger looked at everyone who was lined up keeping the restraints on everyone except Shirou and Archer.

"Looks like we got off on the wrong foot here. So allow me to introduce myself," Naruko said, bowing politely to the group. "I am Naruko Gorgon Valentine."

"I'm Shirou Emiya, this is Rin Tohsaka, her servant Archer, and my servant Saber," Shirou said, pointing at each one of them.

"Don't give me that look, loli bait..." Naruko deadpanned, getting a scowl from Ilya. "Oh my, you look ugly now."

"You don't need to be rude about it!" Illya barked out.

"Ok, I have questions and you have questions," Naruko said as she pointed at both sides. "So this is how we're going to do it. You four are going to stay tied up so you don't run."

"Are you seriously going to leave me tied up like this Archer?" Rin asked, looking at her servant.

"Rin that woman is clearly stronger than Berserker...and she's a lot faster too," Archer admitted, getting a cute pout from Rin.

"Now I'm going to divide you into two groups. Petulance answers questions and dummies ask questions," Naruko said with a grin lining her face, revealing her fangs. "Obviously some of you have anger issues so I'm expecting you to have some knowledge and dummies don't know shit."

"Well, that's oddly disrespectful of you." Saber said, staring at the silver-haired woman.

"Quiet, I didn't ask for no lip. If you're going to give anyone lip, give both of them to your girlfriend right there. If you swing that way," Naruko said, pointing at Shirou making them blush.

"She's my master!" Saber argued with a pink tint on her cheeks.

"Ara, kinky~," Naruko said.

"I didn't agree to it in the first place!" Shirou said.

"Shirou don't encourage her!" Saber said.

"That is pretty messed up! You don't force someone to do dirty things to you! What are you some kind of pervert?" Naruko asked, staring at a blushing Saber. "Anyways, we're getting off-topic so this is how we're doing it. You are a dummy (Berserker), you're definitely a dummy (Shirou), Petulant (Illya), petulant (Archer), and very petulant (Saber). So to be fair, you are definitely a dummy (Rin)."

"Why am I a dummy?" Rin asked glaring at Naruko.

"Because you're asking questions. Why else?" Naruto retorted cheekily.

"So where did you come from?" Illya asked.

"I didn't call you a dummy, you dummy! So don't ask questions!" Naruko said while chuckling at Ilya's embarrassed face. "Anyways, it's my turn. Why did that muscleman, Joan of Arc, and the archer lady attack me?"

"Because you're a servant in the war." Saber answered.

"Hey, I am no one's slave...except for rolep...never mind that, It's your turn," Naruko said, cutting herself off.

"Ok, where did you come from and what did you do to my pendant?" Shirou asked, somewhat nervously.

"Wait you were holding that pendant?" Naruko asked, getting a nod from Shirou "Aww, I wasted my question. Anyways, this..." Naruko said, pulling out the pendant. "...is a gift I gave to my wife on the day of our wedding when we exchanged gifts. It has a magic ability to summon me when the blood of my spouse or children comes into contact with it. I won't go into details, but someone sealed me in there. I just can't remember who did it but if I find out, I'm going to kill them quite violently. Unless they're already dead then I'll just have to kill them in their afterlife."

That left Shirou wondering. Naruko did say only the blood of her relative could affect it. So why did her own trigger Naruko's summoning? Maybe she would wait her turn and ask.

"Ok, what servant class are you? And who's your master?" Rin asked.

"I serve no one, maybe except my wife in some scenarios. She may have been seen as a monster, but she respects me enough as an equal...even though she did try to eat me a few times. Which I didn't mind if you know what I mean..." Naruko said with a chuckle before looking at the group gathered by her. "Besides, what is it with you people and your slavery? Is this some kind of gladiator match? Or are you roleplaying?"

"It's the Holy Grail war. Seven servants are summoned to participate and win the Holy Grail where your wish along with your master's is granted. Your master will also bare a command seal," Saber said, explaining the base details of the Grail Wars before turning to Shirou. "Shirou, if you may show her."

"Hmm, Let me see that..." Naruko said, delicately taking a hold of Shirou's arm and looking at the command seal. She materialized a pair of glasses with magical properties and got the information she needed about the command seal. "Oh my, this thing is some kind of leash or restraint. I can easily destroy it, but not without finding some loophole to break the command seal, so I don't harm the wielder. Plus things like that aren't really my forte, more of my annoying little sister's. It's also binding the prisoner to the user. This is some intense roleplay..."

"Prisoner?" Shirou asked suspiciously, staring at the blonde.

"It's either that or a slave from what it looks like. I don't care for anything, but I do believe in the concept of having free will." Naruko said with a shrug, not really caring about this and only making a point. "How do you know that you aren't opening up Pandora's box? Or killing each other for someone's amusement."

"It doesn't matter, we're heroic spirits. We're just spirits projected into physical bodies to fight for the grail." Saber said, getting a groan from Naruko.

"I already know you servants are dead. I was talking to your masters. I'm assuming you all are going to be throwing your lives away, yes?" Naruko asked with an uninterested sigh, looking at the masters of the Grail War.

Shirou just looked down, Saber may be a ghost in some kind of projection, but doesn't she feel pain too? What about her or better yet Rin or that little girl Illya? Are they just going to waste their lives for a grail that may just be a lie? That priest guy Kotomine was already pretty shady and he said the last grail war only lasted a decade versus the original 60 years. Who's to say it won't cut down to 5 years? A single year? A month? A week?

"I don't know..." Shirou said to herself, already questioning this Grail War.

"And you two?" Naruko asked, staring at Ilya and Rin.

Illya and Rin both looked at each other before growling and yelling about the honor of their families and whatnot. Practically yelling about why they don't care who gets in the way. Naruko shook her and proceeded to materialize a bucket of water, dropping it on their heads and cooling them down.

"I'm guessing you two are self-centered, entitled, little pieces of shit?" Naruko asked, addressing both Rin and Ilya who began growling about the nicknames Naruko gave them. "Okay, just self-centered."

"YES!" Both heiresses answered.

"Ara~ Dissapointing but expected..." Naruko said with a chuckle that sent chills down everyone's spine. "I'm going to untie all of you and then we're going to play a little game, yes. You two are both children so you'll have fun trying."

Both Rin and Ilya pouted, struggling to break free of the chains. Even Saber looked at her master who kind of looked sad.

"So here's how it works. I noticed that your connection to your servants requires mana and I can only assume some need more than others. So here's the game, all of you have 10 minutes to land a single hit on me," Naruko said, removing some stray strands of her hair from obscuring her vision. "If you win, you can use me as a battery for your mana. Otherwise, we're doing things The Funnular Entertainment Way, aka, My Way." (If you get the reference, you get a nice cookie from the Darkside.)

"DEAL!" both girls agreed.

With that said and done, Naruko released the chains.

"Shirou, are you going to participate?" Saber asked, suggesting Shirou should attempt this small fight. "You could use the mana."

"I'm not a fighter Saber. You know that already. If you want you can join in." Shirou said, sitting down on the ground to think about everything she had just heard.

"Very well master," Saber said, finding it strange seeing her master just give up all of a sudden. "I will join in on the fight."

"Okay, kiddies. When the sand feels up. Your 10 minutes are up, understood?" Naruko said, manifesting a massive hourglass in her hand before dropping it on the floor. "3, 2, 1, GO!"

9 minutes 45 seconds later

What was believed to be an easy battle was determined to be rather difficult to near impossible with a quarter of a minute left. Everyone was panting as they used a large chunk of their mana reserves to chase Naruko around. Only she was mocking them by either easily dodging their attacks or blocking them with her feet alone.

"What is she made of?" Archer asked having run out of energy to fire another arrow.

"She can't be a regular servant with this level of power and agility." Saber said, panting heavily from the fight that seemed like an eternity.

Berserker for his part was resting on his axe sword as his body was drenched in sweat, somehow. Meanwhile, Illya's birds all managed to collapse on themselves trying to restrain Naruko. Rin for her part was just speaking gibberish as she ran out of spells to throw at the lithe silver-haired woman. That only left Shirou who was still contemplating the idea of the Holy Grail War and what she was doing being a part of it now along with everyone else.

"Shirou *pant* why aren't you *pant* trying to *pant* I'm too tired to say anything," Rin said, almost falling to the ground in exhaustion.

"I thought you didn't want me to participate in the war..." Shirou said, staring blankly at Rin.

"You could at least give the free mana to me!" Rin yelled, looking at the fight in the distance. "Could they at least make her use her hands!"

"Fine, I'll give it a try," Shirou said with a sigh, making Rin smile mischievously.

Naruto for the most part just sat on some rubble like a chair, drinking some smoothie while reading a magazine, ignoring Archer who pulled on her bow a few times and missed every shot. Illya was also on Berserker's shoulder working out a strategy only for the brute to collapse. That left Naruko chuckling at the sight. That's when the sand from the Hourglass filled up only to feel a blow to the back of her head, knocking her off her pseudo-chair.

"Shirou you won!" Saber cheered.

"No, I didn't, I landed my hit after the bell," Shirou replied.

"Are you serious?" Rin asked, looking at both Shirou and Naruko.

"I'm impressed, I didn't even notice you the whole time. How did you hide your energy signature?" Naruko asked, rubbing the back of her head.

"I just learned about it and Saber says they're pretty low. So it's pretty easy to hide something barely noticeable." Shirou answered, getting an amusing and cute chuckle from Naruko.

"Ara~ I should have noticed. Oh, well, it can't be helped..." Naruko said with a shrug, walking toward Shirou. "I guess I'll be in your care, for now."

"What, but Shirou hit you after the bell," Illya whined.

"Yeah, but I already planned on following her the moment I realized who she was. After all, her blood was what got me unsealed, and like I said my wife, children, and family are the only ones who can free me." Naruko said with a small smile. "Do take care of me, Shirou. I'm quite an old lady."

"But, she's not your daughter..." Saber said, stating the obvious.

"That's right and since my wife's DNA matches my children's as well as mine. Only someone related to them would be equivalent to activating it." Naruko said, leaving out a few unimportant information.

"So that means..." Rin trailed off.

"During our little game, I noticed my mind retrieving information like a book. Everything about the holy grail war and so forth was passed on to me. I also have a compendium of rules and descriptions now. That leaves me learning one thing." Naruko said as she yawned. "My wife is gone, and my kids are somewhere that I'm not too sure or aware of. I'm basically all alone now, this pendant was a sign of love and the bonds of family. All that is gone now. Well...I do still have mom, dad, and my annoying little sister."

Everyone couldn't help but feel some remorse. Whether she's just another human who was trapped for eternity or the projection of someone else.

"With that, this is just an heirloom," Naruto said, gesturing to the pendant that she removed from her cleavage before handing it over to Shirou. "I, Naruko Gorgon Valentine, officially pass this heirloom to my granddaughter, Shirouko Emiya."

"Well, this was a waste of time. You'll all get yours at a later date. Especially you Tohsaka, Emiya, and...really long surname." Illya said, sitting on Berserker's shoulder who was running slowly due to the lack of energy and ass whooping he got.

"Should we go after them?" Archer asked.

"Not for now," Rin said as Archer dropped her bow. "What about you Emiya? What are you going to do about your ancestor?"

Rin asked, knowing Shirou could barely handle the responsibility of Saber so where would that leave the depressed woman?

"As she said, she's sticking with me..." Shirou said, looking at her 'Ancestor' who was looking to the sky. Shirou's statement got a few weird stares from everyone still present.

"Shirou I would advise against that. Even if what she says is true, there's no telling if someone already claimed her as a servant the moment she came out of your pendant." Saber said.

"Well, what am I supposed to do? She's just alone in the world and from the sound of things, she's not just some clone with the mind of the real Naruko like you Saber. I never knew my parents and looked up to Kiritsugu until his death. So this is a chance for me to get to know my... grandmother..." Shirou said, looking at Naruko who gave her a thumbs up. "Anyways, I guess I'm taking grandma home with me."

"You can't be serious!" Rin yelled in outrage.

"Ara~ Is someone jealous that I'll make Shirou here strong while you're stuck with that crappy archer of yours?" Naruko asked mockingly.

"Oh, a crappy archer am I?" Archer asked, numerous tic marks forming on her face.

"You couldn't land a hit on me when I was reading some mangaka from Shirou," Naruko said, handing over Shirou's manga she borrowed during the fight. "This is yours."

"Settle down you two. Regardless, I guess I can't make you change your mind." Rin said with a sigh. "And also, when we see each other again. We're enemies Emiya."

With that said, Archer picked up Rin before jumping away.

"Tsundere..." Naruko muttered, following Shirou and Saber all the way back. "You know if you guys want I can fly us back, open up a portal, or teleport us. Just point me where."

"Yeah... I'll stay close to the ground and I don't feel like puking out my lunch..." Shirou answered as Saber nodded in agreement.

"Suit yourselves, at least I have some relative, even though I have no idea where those kids are..." Naruto said, putting her hand behind her head and walking.

"Hey grandma, can you tell me about yourself on the way there? I wouldn't mind getting to know you." Shirou suggested.

"I would not mind hearing as well." Saber said, hoping to find Naruko's weakness should she prove to be an enemy.

"Where do I start..." Naruko said before thinking back on the past. "I have been reborn twice and this is going to be a long story. You might want to strap in. My first life wasn't too bad. Mom is cool, albeit quite lazy, and spends most of her day eating junk food. Dad is a super cool King. Which reminds me, I wonder if King Arthur is still alive out there. I wouldn't doubt if the brat was aware of this grail war if he was alive. Then again he could be a heroic spirit too. I always sparred with him ever since he learned to control Excalibur's power. That and the lady of the lake would scold me whenever I would be too rough on the boy and the sword. If she didn't want Excalibur to get hurt, then he should have used Clarent." Naruko explained as she rambled on about being the daughter of Dantea Sparda(Shin Megami Tensei and Canon Dante) and [REDACTED]

Both Shirou and Saber not knowing who Dantea was, or what the hell she was talking about. After a while, she spoke about an incident that blasted her outside of her multiverse, ending up in some random place. She explained her numerous adventures with the Seven Deadly Sins and whatnot. Saber was confused about Naruko knowing about Excalibur. She also spoke about her other adventures and meeting interesting people.

The next day

Shirou woke up to find herself with phantom pains from the fight last night. As she got up she found Naruko up and early, wearing a naked apron and preparing breakfast while Saber sat on the floor, patiently waiting for the meal to be finished while sporting a small blush from what Naruko was wearing.

"Morning Shirou, I took the time to learn Japanese recipes so don't hate me if the food looks weird," Naruko said, laying down plates at the table. "I'm usually used to ordering food and eating pizza."

"You look like you did a good job," Shirou said, looking at the meal in front of her before taking a bite. "And it tastes pretty good."

"You're lucky I learned from a few friends and family who were quite good at cooking..." Naruko said, remembering throwing up from Meliodas' cooking while learning from Ban.

"Yeah, for some reason with the whole memory system inside my head or whatever, I can remember every detail of my past lives," Naruko said, placing her head against her hand. "Is this how it feels Saber?"

"Yes, the first few seconds feel foreign, but after that, you adjust to the new world and develop knowledge quickly. That is why I do feel confused towards modern Japanese standards." Saber said, taking a bite from her meal.

"Hmm, Japan is the name of this place? I barely visited the Earth in my current life...but the few times I did it was quite the...interesting experience," Naruko said, digging into her meal. "I did meet my wife. I miss her."

"Your current life?" Shirou asked, staring at her possible Grandmother.

"Yeah, after getting booted from my home by a failed experiment," Naruko said. "I ran into some creepy vampire named Zelretch...said he needed me to do a few jobs for him. So the next thing I know, I'm depressed, lonely, and lost. I do miss mother, father, and the rest."

"Wow, that's depressing." Both Shirou and Saber said.

"Regardless, I met my wife that day after saving her from being killed since the creepy vampire man didn't give me details on my job," Naruko said, smiling as she drank a glass of juice. "So the next thing I knew I'm hitched and have three little kids to watch over."

"I'm sorry for your loss, ancestor..." Shirou said.

"It's quite alright...Just call me grandma, or whatever. But I doubt people will buy or understand that story. So for now, it would be best if you referred to me as auntie," Naruko said, explaining the situation.

"She's right, Shirou. People outside the grail war such as civilians are not allowed to interfere in the war." Saber said, staring at her master with a serious look on her face.

"Ok..." Shirou said before being interrupted by the ringing of a phone. "Hold on a minute,"

Shirou walked out of the room, answering the call while leaving both servants alone in the room.

"So...Saber, would you like to talk about yourself?" Naruko asked.

"No thank you, my life is not very interesting," Saber said, swiftly dodging the question.

"Really? You're a heroic spirit...You must have done something in your past life worth catching the grail's attention," Naruko said, making the Saber servant nervous.

"Nope, just got lucky!" Saber said with a confident smile.

"Oh well...I'll need to get changed into something else," Naruko said with a shrug, looking down at her naked apron before pointing her fingers at the free space in front of her, as a tear in space began to form in the room.

"Is that your Noble Phantasm!?" Saber asked, reaching for her sword.

"What, no. I'm opening a pocket dimension where I keep all my clothes. A woman, such as myself needs to dress to impress, you know?" Naruko said, causing her fellow swordswoman to sweatdrop.

"A...reality marble only for clothes?" Saber asked, looking at the portal that showed entire closets full of clothes, shoes, and other women's accessories.

"I guess you could call it that," Naruko said, walking into the portal before looking back at Saber. "If you want I can loan you something from both mine and my wife's closet. I do have some royal attires from my time as Queen and some other stuff. I should probably visit there, now that I'm out of that medallion."

Saber nodded and followed her temporary ally inside her pocket dimension.

A few minutes later Shirou came back with a shocked face looking at the doorway to another realm in the middle of her living room. Before she could either complain or do anything.

Naruko walked out of the portal dressed in a purple hoodie with a donut on the zipper over a black shirt, alongside a black skirt, black stockings, and pink shoes, as well as a green transparent bracelet on her left hand.

"Auntie, why is there a tear in the fabric of time in the middle of my living room?" Shirou asked, staring at Naruko and her new threads.

"First of all that is not the middle of your living room. Second, that is not a tear in the fabric of time. I would be in so much trouble if I did that again." Naruko said, remembering the time Whis lectured her on why she shouldn't do that. (Whis from Dragon Ball Heroes. From both Dragon Ball Heroes Goku's and Vegeta's timelines.)

"Then what is it?" Shirou asked.

"It's a pocket dimension for clothes," Naruko replied bluntly just as Saber walked out in a white shirt and blue skirt. "Saber calls it a Reality Marble. Don't worry, I'll close it up."

"That won't destroy my house, right?" Shirou asked.

"Calm yourself, niece...I am not some stupid foreigner who can't control themselves," Naruko said, snapping her fingers, and closing the dimension.

"Anyways I need to pack a lunch for Taiga. So I'll be out for a bit," Shirou said.

"Shirou I think it would be best if I stayed close. I need to make sure of your safety while you are out." Saber said, walking up to her master who was about to protest.

"Now, now. Don't argue with her. She's far too loyal. Plus, she means the best for you," Naruko said, interrupting Shirou before she could protest.

"She's right Shirou, I cannot leave you alone risking an imminent attack on you." Saber said.

"Seriously? I guess it can't be helped, come on Saber," Shirou said before turning back to look at her Aunt with a pleading look on her face. "Please don't destroy anything while I'm gone..."

"Ye, of little faith..." Naruko said with a chuckle when suddenly a bulb went out. "That's most definitely not my fault. But she'll probably blame for that, wouldn't she?" Naruko added before beginning her search for a spare light bulb.

A few minutes later

The living room was immediately trashed as Naruko finally fixed the light bulb. She smiled as the light went on...then suddenly its whole wiring fell out from the ceiling and smashed itself against the ground.

"RESET," Naruko said as her hands glowed in reddish-purple demonic energy, immediately repairing the bulb and the entire room. "Good, hopefully..."

Before Naruko could finish her sentence the lightbulb popped once again causing her to curse her shitty luck outside of gambling.

Shirou's Workshop

"Fuckin bulb and shitty luck," Naruko grumbled as she looked around Shirou's workshop in an attempt to find a bulb that wouldn't explode.

Looking around she saw the mess and signs of small explosions. Maybe Shirou was an inventor of sorts. Although hopefully, she wasn't creating her own lightbulbs, because Naruko was not going to take the blame for her lousy experiments. Looking and moving things around she came across some kind of magic circle drawn on the floor.

"Hmm...It could work," Naruko said to herself, clapping her hands together. "This is how mom did her summoning right...Well, it's do or die."

Naruko soon slammed her hand down, charging some of her internal energy into the circle on the floor.

Luckily no one was around the see the light show that occurred as lighting sparked up the sky and created a small explosion. Back with Naruko, who was lying on her back clutching the stump that was once her left arm.

"Fuck!" Naruko exclaimed, clutching it. Then suddenly she looked to the wall and saw writing in blood. "That's somehow unsettling and disappointing."

Dear Naruko, Queen of Inferno,

Looks like you lost your limbs but luckily for you, you can simply grow them back with your nature as a demon, a healing factor and all. So please don't attempt that again or else I'll call Scathach and tell her you've been slacking on your training.

Naruko soon shivered in slight fear, remembering the numerous one-sided beatdowns she suffered at the hands of the Queen of the Shadowlands when she tried to get good at martial arts and spearmanship.

Regardless if you want to summon someone be my guest. Just use something as an offering, for example, King Arthur (not your Arthur) was summoned 10 years ago with his scabbard. A stone from his time was also used to summon his son Mordred in another timeline. So if you wish to summon anyone, the grail shouldn't deny you so long as you have a command seal. There was a group that attempted a larger war using 14 masters so it wouldn't be so bad to have one more master even if you did become a servant yourself.

Yes, you are a servant now, but knowing you, the grail can't restrain you. Due to your power, origin, and not being from the ROOT(Nasuverse). Finally, you fall under the category of 'Foreigner'.

"You fucking creepy-ass Vampire! When I get my hands on you..." Naruko said, stopping herself before finishing her threat. "I've got to get my hand back first"

Hopefully, you finished your rant about me being a creepy vampire man or whatnot. I hope you don't cause any more trouble for your descendant. Also, something's wrong with the grail and hopefully, you can stop whatever insanity happens. I can only tell you this, a lot of trouble will be coming and this won't be a normal grail war. So with that, I leave you to whatever you want. Please don't blow up the planet in your anger or mood swings.

Best regards,

Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg.

P.S. Shirou Emiya is not the only living person in this timeline related to you by blood. If you wish to seek them, then you know what to do. But seriously, don't nuke the planet.

The last of the message disappeared from the wall. Naruko had to restrain herself from letting out some KI amplified by her demonic state. That was the only way her children were able to find her when they got lost in the woods and that was easier due to her being relatively close to them. Trying to call Shirou like that could cause a worldwide Earthquake.

Sighing to herself, she remembered that Zelretch gave her the green light to go for the summoning.

"It's now or never, Beloved..." Naruko said, drawing a summoning circle down to the last detail. Carefully placing her wedding ring in the center she stepped back again. She grabbed her free arm, forcing a lot of energy into her grid to draw up a command seal on her hand. She clenched her fanged teeth through the pain, feeling as the lines burned into her hand, staying printed on.

The circle began to shake as black, red, and pink lightning strikes started to dance around in the skies.

With Shirou

As Shirou made her way back home, she was explaining to Taiga about Saber being a friend of Kiritsugu prior to his death. Then she explained how Saber would be staying with her for a few days. That and she remembered that Naruko was with them so she might leave at the same time Saber does. However, before she could mention her blond ancestor, Shirou noticed lightning in the sky dancing over where her house. Upon seeing this she left in a hurry, hoping that her aunt, or whatever she was doing doesn't destroy her house.

"Shirou, wait up!" Saber shouted, following after her master.

"I didn't hear anything about thunderstorms in the forecast," Sakura said, running after both her Senpai and Saber.

"It wasn't raining, to begin with," Taiga replied worried about the weather and Shirou's actions, following the group.

Back with Naruko

Naruko took in a deep breath, noticing the summoning circle's light finally died down but wasn't sure of its success. There was a heavy amount of smoke covering the area as Naruko looked through it.

"Hello? Anyone in there?" Naruko asked, staring through the smoke and spotting a figure.

"None other than myself my master." said a female voice.

"Ah...What's your name, miss?" Naruko asked, hoping that her summoning was a success.

"Hmph. I am the Avenger, Gorgon. Make good use of me. I will do the same for you. I look forward to seeing which of us comes to an end sooner.?" The now-named 'Gorgon' answered with an arrogant tone.

"It really is you..." Naruko whispered to herself before realizing something and sighing to herself. "Gimme a sec, I need to clear the smoke."

Before the voice could object, Naruko raised her hand, firing out a gust of wind and blowing the smoke away, finally revealing her servant. Before Naruko stood an extremely beautiful woman. She has long purple hair with a few snakey appendages attached to it. Around her body are numerous scales and she's wearing a white dress that reveals her voluptuous figure, alongside, a very long prehensile tail.

"B-beloved is that you?" Gorgon asked, looking at her wife.

"Oh, Medusa...How much I missed you," Naruko exclaimed, rushing toward the woman and hugging her.

"Naru-chan, are you my...master?" Gorgon asked, using the nickname she had for her wife while returning the hug.

"I guess I am," Naruko said and gave Gorgon a small kiss before letting go of her and showing the Command Seals on the back of her hand. "You wouldn't believe what I've learned since last night. So many years passed, and there are barely any Divine Spirits around. I heard they are on the Reverse side of The World. There's this grail war and and and..."

"I know Naruko, as a servant all this information is already sent to me. I'm surprised you managed to summon me. I still count as a divine spirit..." Gorgon said, looking at her rambling wife. "Even as low as my divinity is."

"Honey, do you know anything about someone sealing me away?" Naruko asked and was surprised when Gorgon released a full blast of Killing Intent.

"It was that bitch Athena and Perseus. Even after everything that whore of a goddess had done, she continues to want to make my life miserable!" Gorgon exclaimed as she began to grow larger and more monstrous.

"Honey, calm down..." Naruko said in an attempt to calm down Medusa.

"How can I! Thanks to that cunt Athena. Perseus was able to seal you away and in my anger I lashed out at him, getting myself killed in the process," Gorgon said with tears pulling from her eyes. "It's not fair. First, the gods curse me. I soon began turning into a monster to the point that my sister had to sacrifice themselves so I can keep my sanity. Then I'm getting hunted for sport. Then one of the good things that happened to me gets taken away!"

"It's ok..." Naruko said, pulling Medusa into a hug as she began to shrink to her normal size. "I'm here now and I'll never let go. Plus, you're beautiful the way you are so don't think otherwise."

"Thanks..." Gorgon said, wiping her tears before breaking away from Naruko. "So, how did you break out from being sealed?"

"One of my relatives freed me," Naruko said with a smile getting a confused look from Gorgon. "That troll Zelretch man told me I'm under the Servant Class, Foreigner."

"Wait...Did you say a relative of yours?" Gorgon asked and got a nod from Naruko. "I thought your family wasn't allowed to follow you...from what you told me."

"Meddy-chan, last night I learned about our descendant. From thinking things over and realizing the connection. This person, Shirou Emiya master of Saber, is our distant granddaughter, but I'm not sure if she comes from Camilla or Corrin since I can only assume...I'm sorry." Naruko said as she looked down.

"Naruko...are you saying my children are...?" Gorgon asked, clenching her fist. "Who was it? Perseus? Athena? One of those gods?"

"I don't believe they are dead...but I don't know exactly where they are..." Naruko said, bringing Gorgon in for a comforting hug and calming her down. After a few moments, they both broke away. "I should probably prepare you for when Shirou arrives..."

"Auntie, what do you do!?" Shirou exclaimed, entering her house and screaming at the top of her lungs.

"She's home..." Naruko said, blitzing around the workshop and cleaning up.

"Hm...Why did the morsel call you, aunt?" Gorgon asked, inwardly chuckling at her wife's antics as she watched Naruko blitz around the room, creating numerous after-images of herself.

"You know the rules of the grail war honey, so I needed to stay incognito and other people can't process the thought of our awesomeness," Naruko explained, looking at the now tidy room apart from the black marks from the earlier lightning. Hopefully, nothing bad happens when she leaves. "Plus, that Morsel is Shirou. Our descendant..."

"I see. Is she aware of my arrival?" Gorgon asked, getting a sheepish look from Naruko which got her to sigh. "What did you do?"

"I kind of might have done all this behind her back...and as an experiment," Naruko said, getting a glare from her Beloved. "Hey, it worked, didn't it?"

"I guess it did..." Gorgon said, looking at Naruko. "We can have some time to ourselves later. I'll get dressed while you deal with our, granddaughter is it?"

"Yes, Honey~," Naruko said Gorgon said opened up their clothing dimension while she made her way to check on Shirou.

With Shirou

Shirou was looking around making sure nothing was destroyed in the lightning storm. Looking around she saw one lightbulb but put it aside learning that it went out. Looks like her aunt was trying to be helpful. So far so good and...

"Shirou? Since when did you have relatives?" Taiga asked.

"You see Taiga, apparently I had a relative who's been trying to find me, but couldn't make it to Japan. So instead she met Kiritsugu through the mail and they communicated with each other back and forth," Shirou said, making up a believable story as she went. "The letters got less frequent since his death, but it turns out it was because she was working on moving over here."

"Oh, I don't remember Kiritsugu or you mentioning her," Taiga said, feeling a bit suspicious of the situation.

"Well, I never thought about bringing it up because I thought he didn't care." Shirou lied.

"Then you should introduce her to..." Taiga said before being interrupted.

"Sorry Shirou, I had some issues looking for a lightbulb please don't be mad!" Naruko said, running in with bandages around her pseudo-arm which she made with the power of darkness.

"Naruko, there you are..." Shirou greeted before noticing her Aunt's bandaged arm. "Why is your arm bandaged up?"

"I kind of injured myself after I fell onto some parts in your storage room," Naruko said before everyone heard numerous noises of falling objects coming from Shirou's storage room. "That happened after I left...I have no idea what happened. But you seriously need to clean that place up."

"I'm sure that wasn't your fault, aunt..." Shirou said, staring blankly at Naruko. "Didn't know you were reckless."

"I'm not reckless...Plus I wouldn't have hurt myself if you cleaned up every now and then. I couldn't even find a spare bulb to replace the broken one." Naruko argued back.

"Can you two stop fighting? You have guests." Saber spoke up both ladies sheepishly looks back at her.

"How rude of me. I'm Naruko Valentine," Naruko said, staring at a purple-haired girl that looked far too similar to her wife.

"Sakura Matou," Sakura said, smiling at the kind-looking older woman.

"I'm Taiga Fujimura!" Taiga said with much enthusiasm in her voice. "What brings you to Japan?"

"Well ever since I learned about Kiritsugu's death, I worked towards moving over here to take care of Shirou, but I see I was a few years late. At least it didn't strain the marriage with the Mrs," Naruko explained.

"Oh, you're married?" Taiga said with a bit of interest and internal disappointment. She could see how beautiful the young lady was. She looked a bit taller and appeared to be her age, but felt a bit older for some reason. Oh well, better luck next time.

"Yeah, she's been hesitant about moving countries, but she's getting used to it," Naruko answered, hoping they bought her story. "Oh that reminds me, Shirou I think your second aunt needs some help moving in. Saber if you may, we could use some extra help."

"Right." Saber said, grabbing Shirou's hand and following Naruko.

"They seem nice," Sakura said, getting a nod from Taiga.

With the three muchachos

"So...I may have summoned my wife who is also a goddess as a servant..." Naruko said, revealing the news and getting shocked looks from both her companions.

"What?/You what!?" Both Shirou and Saber said together for different reasons entirely.

"Yeah...I didn't really expect it to work, you know..." Naruko said with a casual shrug. "She's both a divine and heroic spirit. Plus, I told her everything."

"So...she's going to be my 2nd 'aunt'?" Shirou asked, getting a grin and a nod from Naruko.

"Pretty much, that and she's changing already knowing the rules of being hidden because of the war," Naruko answered, leading the group to the workshop.

"Shirou she could be a threat." Saber suggested.

"Saber, we're not doing that here!" Shirou warned.

"Anyways, with my two daughters, location unknown, and presumably dead. You're pretty much all we have left." 'Not according to Zelretch' Naruko thought thinking back to the sad attempt at a blood-scare text.

Saber didn't want to buy anything, but decided to keep her opinions to herself. She didn't want to argue with her master and would have to trust in Shirou's judgment. As they continued walking, they saw the sight of the ground having been destroyed by lightning and what appeared to be a summoning circle. Shirou deadpanned at Naruko who suddenly found the floor quite interesting to look at.

Turning away from that, the group saw the doorway to the closet. To Shirou, she still saw it as a tear in the fabric of reality. Something that she would continue to argue about when asked about it. Although putting her thoughts away as she saw a woman with scales on parts of her body and long purple hair that had snakes attached to it walking out of the portal. She was dressed in a long-sleeved black shirt that had a massive boob window. She also wore a pair of jeans, alongside some glasses.

"Naruko's wife I presume?" Saber asked, sensing this servant was pretty strong.

"Yes, and you must be Violet Evergarden." Gorgon teased, stifling a laugh.

"I'm not Violet Evergarden! Why does everyone ask me that!?" Saber asked acting childishly for some reason making Gorgon laugh.

"So this girl must be, Shirou..." Gorgon said, observing her 'niece'.

Shirou nodded as she went up to her ancestor with a gesture of a handshake, only for Gorgon to do a hugging gesture. Both chuckled nervously as Shirou went for a hug while Gorgon, who was doing a little trolling decided to give Shirou a handshake. Then for a couple of minutes, it was just an awkward exchange as the two were rather nervous about physical contact. Well...Gorgon was getting some kicks out of it.

"Are they ok?" Saber asked, looking at the awkward movements between both Gorgon and Shirou.

"Did you have this much issue with your relatives?" Naruko asked.

Saber immediately experienced some painful and awkward flashbacks about Mordred, Morgan, and Guinevere.

"Trouble with women to be more specific." Saber answered.

"It happens...I too have some problems with women," Naruko said with a grin.

Eventually, Shirou and Gorgon hugged it out, making Saber sigh in relief while Naruko chuckled, knowing about Gorgon's little quirks.

"Come, let me have a look at you," Gorgon said, looking at her niece. "Hm, I guess it has been too long. I can't tell if you're related to Camilla, or Corrin."

"Who?" Shirou asked nervously.

"My children," Gorgon said. "Regardless, I hear you have guests over. It's best we don't keep them waiting. I can't have my image as a perfect goddess ruined."

"Ah shit. Here we go again," Naruko groaned out beside an amused Gorgon as they both entangled their hands, walking side to side.

Shirou sighed as she tried to feel optimistic about her new life. One day a stranger saves her from burning debris. On another day she meets a member of her real family even if she's from far away in the past.

"Come on Saber," Shirou said, reaching for her servant's hand as well and leading her back inside. Not noticing the blonde swordswoman blushing at the gesture.

In another part of Fuyuki city

As the lightning went on, no one noticed the site of the destruction of the city from about a decade ago. The very same place where the Holy Grail manifested, was the sight of something moving in the distance. Where there was once rubble was clean ground. Only at that moment, did the black and white lightning strike at it unintentionally covering the area in mana.

If there were any witnesses, one would see a hand sticking out from the ground. Then a small body dug itself out revealing blond hair and bright red eyes. As the person got out, they looked around their surroundings finding themselves in a foreign land they didn't understand.

But for some reason, they felt a familiar signature. That was all they could feel and all they desired. So then a search began.

Pokemon Alternate Universe Adventures

A man from an Earth gets the choice to start over in any Universe and chooses an Alternate Pokemon Universe. Let us see if his journey to the top is succesful and the impact he will have on his new world. Pokemon is owned by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. I just use their sandbox for the plot of my MC and my OCs. This will be a "slow" paced story, in fact it's "super slow paced", so please don't expect the MC to directly start his journey in 20 chapters or so, actually multiply that by like 15. A lot is going to happen before that happens. The first 10-20 chapters or so are information heavy, depending on what kind of reader you are. I try to keep my chapter length between 2000 and 3000 words per chapter. My release rate is 4 chapter/week for now. I have a patre*n for those that want to support me with access to some advance chapters as a thank you. patre*n.com/Azrail93 This is an alternate pokemon universe so there will be differences to the games, manga and anime. So if something in the story is different it is most likely on purpose. The original sources are seen as suggestions not laws. Differences can be: Type variants, evolution conditions, strength mechanics, world building and more. If I am at some point asking for reader input I will do so but otherwise I will ignore most suggestions. So please don't spam things like catch this pokemon or do that next. I have my plot planned and external input will be considered when asked for. If I see a suggestion that I believe fit my plot flow I will use it and will credit the commentor. Comments on spelling and grammar mistakes are welcome. I will try to correct said mistakes with time. Constructive criticism will be read and considered. Insult and hate comments will be ignored or deleted depending on severity. Readers naturally can comment their dislike but one worders will be ignored. If the reason for the dislike is explained I will read it. Like previously mentioned pure insults and hate comments will be ignored or deleted. The same is true for simple hate reviews or insulting ones. Reviews complaining about something I warned about, such as the slow pace, will be deleted as well.
