The Mansion {Maders Mansion}

The cold breeze in my face, clinging tightly to my bare arms. My arms wrapped around my torso in an attempt to keep me warm. Tears streaming down my face as memories of Harry's cruel betrayal flood my mind. Of all days, he chose my birthday to hurt me. Asides my sobs and the distant barks of the neighborhood dogs. My third sense is sudden activated as I sense I'm being followed. I smell danger. Did You?

Sonias POV;...

I wake up to the bickering of people outside and find myself alone in the tree. I stare up at the light blues sky and know morning has come.

I grab my rumpled sheet off the floor and food it before finally wondering how I'd get out.

As I look around in worry, my gaze lands on deep parts of the tree. It looks as though someone had carved the holes there as they are consistent and follow each other. I carefully place feets and fingers into the holes as I climb up while trying my best to avoid falling.

I finally make it out of the tree and I'm still wondering how to get down a tree so tall when the branch on which I'm standing snaps causing me to scream as I fall.

I close my eyes while screaming in fear for I know once I hit the ground; I won't stand up in one piece.

I stop screaming when I feel myself in someone's arms. I open my eyes and find myself safely cradled in Timothys arms.
