The Lycan's mate

Ariana's Pov

"Why would you bring your fucking mate into our home" I yelled at my husband who's also the alpha of our clan.

"Ari just calm down, I've explained it to you several times, I need to be with my mate, my wolf needs her" Martin explained as I sighed here with the same excuse again.

"Isn't that getting old?" I scoffed as he just sighed.

"What's getting old?" He asked as I clicked my tongue.

"That 'my wolf needs it's bullshit" I said as he rolled his eyes.

"Look, I'm the alpha here I have a right to do whatever I want with my house, she's my mate, she deserves the same treatment you get" he said his gaze cold on me, I stood up walking closer to him as I whispered in his ears.

"She doesn't because she's nothing like me" I said walking away but not forgetting to bump shoulders with him.

I walked upstairs going to my room, it had always been like this these past few months after he found his mate, he promised not to try and compare them or even bring her to their home but now he's doing the complete opposite.

"Luna?" I heard a soft voice call me, turning it was Linda, Martin's so-called mate.

"What is it?" I snapped my head towards her.

"Martin requests your presence downstairs" she said looking at me with clear watery eyes, she was so innocent and obedient, she had this baby-like face, clear brown eyes, her blonde hair in a bun, and she was putting on a pink dress that made her look like a teenager.

"Okay," I muttered coldly turning as we both went downstairs.

"What is it?" I said as Martin waved his hand beckoning on Linda who went forward sitting beside him as I stared at them irritated.

"If this is what am here for it's best I just leave," I said coldly as Martin chuckled.

"Jealous?" He smirked as I just waved him off.

"I can't be jealous of this" I looked Linda's way as she blushed.

"No Luna I didn't mean to upset you" she said crying already as she bowed her head making it look like I was bullying her.

"Oh no, you didn't upset me" I moved closer to her grabbing her arm with so much force I wiped her tears giving her a deadly glare.

"That's enough" Martin pushed me away from his mate and I just laughed.

"I have things to do, have fun" I blew them a kiss as I walked upstairs, my office was already opened indicating my Beta was in, my beta is Clara, she's just like me but more reserved.

"Her Clara" I greeted sitting on my chair as I opened one of the documents.

"What's up with that crybaby Martin brought home?" Clara asked as I sighed.

"I don't know what to do, he's just been different this past few months ever since he found his mate" I signed the documents putting them aside, despite me being an exceptional warrior, an intelligent Luna, beautiful and all I guess a mate bond can never be broken.

"Just try to keep up with her, if you get tired you can just leave because nothing hurts than seeing the one you love with another woman" Clara said as I nodded, maybe she was right, if I get tired I'll probably leave and maybe go back to my old pack and see what's going on there.

The sun was already setting when I and Clara finished clearing out the documents for the day, I took a walk heading to my favourite spot, which was this large lonely lake that I loved going to, it was refreshing and calmed my soul. I walked down the path of tall green trees just enjoying the wind that blew in my hair. I got to the lake and I stripped naked immediately diving, I came back up when I heard a howl, it didn't sound like that of anyone in our clan it sounded more majestic and ferocious. I looked at the black large wolf standing on its two feet, the wolf's eyes were a shade of blue and green looking mysterious, I dived back into the water and watched the wolf leap away. I gathered my clothes dressing up, I didn't want to be in the same place as an intruder, so I rushed back to the main castle and thankfully Martin and his Beta Kai were seated.

"Coming from the lake?" He said as I nodded taking a seat.

"Luna" Kai bowed as I smiled at him, he was a nice and warm guy and strategic in ways I couldn't believe.

"We have an intruder," I said as Martin stared at me.

"We've never had Intruders in our pack" Martin said resting his jaw on his knuckles.

"Well, you've been too busy slacking off to even care about that," I said as Kai bowed standing up as he left giving us some privacy.

"What's wrong with you, huh? Haven't I tried to try and satisfy you, just because I brought my mate Into this house you've turned to something else entirely" he said as I scoffed.

"Then tell your mate to know her place, she's a fucking omega for crying out loud they don't get to leave with Luna or Alpha, you just don't know because you're blinded by this fucking mate bond," I said as he glared at me.

"She's an omega, yes, but she shouldn't have to be treated like trash, even you can end up being an omega if the moon goddess says so," he said as I rolled my eyes, being an omega wasn't a nice thing it was just torture and pain but Linda was overdoing it.

"I can never become an omega, and I suggest you put your mate on a leash because I would put her in her place if she crosses paths with me" I said standing up as I headed upstairs.

"Just say you're jealous because you don't have a mate"
