Vol. 4 - Chapter 12: A Pain in the Heart.

Part 1- 5 before: Ministry of San Juan

(Beep, beep, beep, beep,)

Daniel is sleeping in his desk when he hears a beeping sound coming from his computer. He wakes up lifting his head, he sees he red light coming out of the monitor saying: "DANGER." Daniel nervously sees three phantoms approaching the Ministry in the computer.

"Damn it I fell asleep." He says it while hitting the desk. He runs and opens the window to see outside. The three sisters are in the yard, with Fabiola holding her holy lance. Daniel jumps off the window and lands in the yard. The sisters see Daniel and run to hug him. Daniel looks at them and asks:

"Where are my mom and Carolina?"

"We don't know, they were supposed to go shopping but they haven't shown up yet. I'm scared." Mariana says to Daniel as both of them hug him tighter.

"Daniel, Abril and Mariana run inside I will handle this." Fabiola says as she charges at the specters who are trying to break the barrier. Fabiola slashes a specter but it had no effect and the specter hits Fabiola causing her to fall. Daniel with high speed catches Fabiola.

"WOOOW HE'S FAST!" Abril and Mariana says it with "hearts" coming out of their eyes.

"Are you alright?" Daniel asks Fabiola holding her in his arms.

"He's fast I did not see him move" Fabiola thinks to herself. Daniel puts her down, and Fabiola says: "Thank you!"

"Step back a little" Daniel says to Fabiola, she steps back like he said. Daniel extends his arm charging manna in the palm of his hand. The specters break the barrier and head towards Daniel he unleashes the energy saying:

"LadridoRojo" (RED BARK) The manna turns red and a ray of energy disintegrates the specters completely.

"How did you do that?" Fabiola asks Daniel, he turns around saying:

"Uriel isn't the only one special around here."

Daniel looks at his arm and a small screen showing the map at the city shows three white dots. "I see Valerie is still at the restaurant, however my mother and Carolina are nearby." Daniel looks at two black dots in the map and says: "This is bad there are others with them and strong I need to hurry!"

Daniel begins to run as fast saying, the sister scream: "WAIT" but Daniel was going really fast to hear them. Fabiola starts running after him saying: "Girls stay here in case somebody comes but be careful"

Daniel is running down the hill when he sees an object in the ground. It was Carolina's rosary however she was nowhere to be seen. Daniel begins to think: "What happened here?"

Suddenly a ray of golden light shines over the place.

Part 2- Maria's Location

(BBBOOOOMMM)

Light shines with great intensity as Maria's attack connected at the golem's heart causing it to disintegrate. The light is expanding covering the city, wind begins to accumulate causing a small tornado.

"What's that?" Tatiana asks as the girls see the light from the restaurant in Sun City. Valerie stand up and begins to think: "That's where the ministry is located."

"AAAAHHHH" Suddenly wind begins to hit the window breaking them causing people to scream. Valerie sees the glass of water breaking into pieces. "This is bad, who was it Mother, Daniel, I must hurry." Valerie runs towards the exit heading to the ministry.

The light finally clears along with the wind, the golem disappeared. Maria is floating in the air breathing heavily. She looks at El Muerto and says: "Now it's your turn." And begins to think: "I only have energy for on attack, I must make it count."

Maria once again begins to gather manna in her lance pointing at El Muerto. El Muerto begins to think: " If that thing hits me I will be killed, good thing I always have an ace up my sleeve."

El Muerto snaps his fingers, a person appears in a dark ally, and throws something at Maria, Maria notices and dodges however she is surprise to see what it was saying:

"Was that a LANCE?" She turns to see El Muerto but he disappeared. Suddenly a portal opens behind her and snake appears biting Maria.

A purple pattern begins to expand in Maria's arm causing her to fall to the ground, her Divine Form disappears, and she begins to scream out of pain. El Muerto appears out of the portal and says:

"How do you like the poison of the first snake, it is said that there is not cure Maria, I will not kill you right away, instead I will let you suffer, the poison will kill you in 5 days, you better hurry to find a cure because God will not save you on this occasion."

El Muerto takes out a phone to call someone saying; "It's me, I could not get her to cooperate but I took her out of the game."

"Excellent, tomorrow the eclipse will reveal the city of gold, I will call you tomorrow." The voice on the phone says it as it hangs. El Muerto begins to disappear saying: "We are enlightened.'

Meanwhile in the temple of Teotihuacan, the person that was in the other side of the call was another man wearing a skeleton mask revealing to El Muerto as he says: "We are enlightened"

"MAMA!!!" Daniel arrives at the scene to find out Maria covered in blood with an arm having strange purple marking.

"MAMA WHAT HAPPENED, TALK TO ME PLEASE" Daniel says as he holds her mother. Maria opens her eyes and with a low tone she says:

"Daniel I'm sorry" Maria loses consciousness.

"Daniel what happened?" Fabiola arrives and sees Maria in Daniel's arm. She covers her mouth and begins to cry. Daaniel begins to cry saying:

"I did not make it in time damnit. URIEL HELP ME!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!" Daniel screams into the sky crying. Fabiola calls an ambulance crying as Maria is unconscious. The sky begins to fill itself with clouds and it begins to rain in the borderland.

Part 3- Isla de las Muñecas (Island of dolls)

Uriel and Marjorie where eating and laughing when suddenly Uriel feels pain in his heart causing him to drop the glass of water breaking it. Uriel breathes heavily grabbing his heart. Marjorie frightened asks him what is wrong, Bella looks with intrigue and Carla the cat puts her paws in Uriel leg worried. Uriel begins to think:

"What was that? Something happen I know, Valerie, Daniel, My Mother or the sisters?"

"AAAAYYYY MMMMIIIIISSSS HHHHHIIIIJJJOOOSSS"

Uriel and Marjorie hear the cry of the ghost. Uriel stands up breathing heavily saying: "Why now of all times?"

He walks outside with Marjorie and see the ghost with two new children holding her hand. Uriel stands in front of her and says: "We need to talk."

In the hotel Xochitl sleeps soundly along with the others, a portal opens outside the hotel and El Muertowalks saying: "Well time to fulfill my duties."

In the temple Ahide looks at the sky as it where stars are showing thinking: "Mother I will avenge you!"
