Most people don't choose reincarnation. Reincarnation finds their way to them. Perhaps they did something great in their life. Or maybe truck-sama wasn't looking where it was going. But without fail, those who reincarnate are destined for something great. A new life where everything changes for the better. But... Reincarnation isn't always the greatest thing. It had two supporting aspects that focused on nurturing the soul to allow it to both sense and connect to specific regions in the universe, the first being the so called 'home of the soul' and the second being a set location that he could set up. The two could coexist, although the creator directly noted it was probably better to follow one path or the other, as in the hectic state of soul form and with the potential damages that could come from being forced into such a state, having two paths could be confusing and potentially cause problems.

Of course, this was all still theoretical, as this technique was ultimately never really perfected or tested due to the risks and sacrifices involved.
