Chapter 49- Bam Bam

Leonidas was a little confused. "Then what is your plan B, kid?" John only smiled; he crouched down on one knee and placed a knife in Leonidas's hands. Leonidas looked at the knife, raising his head afterwards to look at John. "What is this for?" 

"If I don't make it, then at least you have something to defend yourself, or you can unalive yourself.". 

"Are you not confident in yourself that you can kill all of them?" Leonidas said as he gripped the knife tightly.

John slowly stood up; he felt tired. "I told you, old geezer, I am not a killer.". He then turned around and walked to fight the man with the knife. 

"Hehehe, I am going to take your teeth after I cut you up, little boy." The man with the knife said while slowly rubbing his index finger on the knife. He wore black leather boots and brown pants with a long brown belt. In the upper part of his body, the man with the knife wore a white long-sleeve shirt.

As the man with the knife was taking his time walking to John, he heard the man with the pernach call out to him, "Hurry up and kill the boy already. I want to get back to drinking."

The man with the knife then smiled, and he began to dash at full speed to attack John. John however, stood still as he watched the man get closer. His heart started to beat faster as the man approached closer. He calmed himself by slowly breathing in and out.

John then retrieved the elemental water stone from his storage ring. "Come closer you stupid bastard" he said to himself.

John began to smirk as the elemental water stone started to pulsate a blue glow in his hand. The three men who were still standing by the bridge were wondering why the boy was standing still and not moving a single muscle. Cory began to chuckle. "The boy is probably so afraid that he cannot even move a muscle; he is probably pissing his pants hahahaha". As the man with the knife was five steps away from John, something unexpected happened. Further, the man holding the knife was suddenly met with a huge, forceful shot of water. The man was confused for a moment. He looked at his clothes, which were all drenched with water. He wiped away some of the water from his face as he stared angry at John, "Was that supposed to hurt me?". 

"Nope" John said as he put the water elemental stone into the right side of his jean's pocket.

"But this will." John quickly dashed towards the man with the knife, and at the same time, he retrieved the lighting elemental stone. John's movement was fast and fluid as he closed the distance between himself and the bandit. The man with the knife could not believe how fast the boy was; he thought the boy lied about being a vampire. For a moment, the man with the knife was staggered, and before the man could do anything, John used the lighting stone that was crackling with electric energy. He used his index finger to release an electric bolt. The man with the knife convulsed as the electric shock coursed through his body, rendering him unconscious.

The three men were shocked; everything happened too fast, and they did not know exactly what happened. Cory had an irritated look on his face. He turned his head to look at the man with the pernach, "Bam Bam, it's your turn; go kill the boy and don't disappoint me."

Bam Bam grinned. "My pleasure, I can't believe. Joe, let himself be defeated by a mere child. I will have a word with him after he wakes up."

John looked at the three men. "Who's Next!".

"I will be your next opponent, kid; however, I will not be easily defeated like my friend Joe.

While John was waiting for Bam Bam, he looked at Leonidas, and they both made eye contact with each other. John then smiled and gave him a thumbs up.

Leonidas's eye twitched, "Fuck is wrong with this boy" he thought. 

"Focus; don't make the same mistake you did in the cave."

John did not respond, he just showed Leonidas the middle finger.

Leonidas's face turned red, and at the same time, he gritted his teeth as he could not help but get angry at John. "You fucking mutt, just wait till I get back on my feet," he thought as he looked at how John would clinch his hand into a fist. John would then mimic the action of a skilled fisherman, deftly uncoiling the fishing line from the reel. John's middle finger would then slowly extend from his clenched fist, further angering Leonidas in the process; none of his children or grandchildren have ever done this to him. "This boy needs a good beating."

John then moved Joe's body to the side as he prepared for the upcoming battle.

Cory then called Bam Bam "Bam, do you need help with the boy?"

Bam Bam looked back at their leader, Cory. "Hell no, what would the people think if they found out that the great Bam Bam could not even defeat a boy by himself? Sit back and watch me send this child to the afterlife."

Cory grinned at Bam Bam's answer. He then looked at the man with the big nose next to him and said, "If Bam Bam loses, then we kill the boy together."

The man with the big nose had no objection. "Yes, boss".

Bam Bam was wearing a leather cap, a brown short-sleeve shirt, and a cuirass-chest without a back made of steel. Moreover, he wore black pants with black leather boots.

Bam Bam walked slowly to where John was standing, lightly tapping the pernach on his left hand. "I wonder what this boy did to beat Joe…No matter, I'll ask Joe myself after I kill this boy hehehe"

As Bam Bam was walking and thinking about how he was going to deal with John, he noticed that John turned his back on him. "What? What the hell is this boy doing?

John placed the lightning stone into the left side of his jean's pocket.

He then reached inside the right side of his jean's pocket to take out the water stone. He turned his body to see Bam Bam walking towards him. He decided to take action by attacking first.

Bam Bam readies himself as he sees John coming towards him with great speed. He calmed himself, breathing in and out, not underestimating the boy. He placed both of his hands on the hilt of the pernach, squeezing it tightly and waiting for the opportunity to strike. "I am going to take your head off.". 

However, John did the unexpected; just as John was about to enter Bam Bam's striking range, he suddenly changed directions. Bam Bam's eyes widened. "What is this boy doing?"

John ran around where Bam Bam was standing. Leonidas was also confused "Why is he running in a circle?"

John had a feeling that his attack would not work if he straight away fired a water blast at the man with the pernach. "He looks too focused; I can't waste this opportunity." John was nervous; he could feel how fast his heart was beating inside his chest.

Bam Bam was still standing in his position; he was unsure of what to do as he thought, "Should I attack the boy? I do not know what he did to quickly defeat Joe. Did he bait Joe to come closer so that he could use a special attack? I shall stand firm and wait for him to make the first move, and when he makes a mistake, that will be the moment I will kill the boy with one strike."

John kept running around Bam Bam; his legs were starting to get tired. The water elemental stone glowed as he held his palm upward and shot two water blasts in the sky above where Bam Bam was standing. 

"What! Did he just shoot water from his palm into the sky? And if he did, why?" Bam Bam was confused; he did not know the reason why the boy would shoot water into the sky. He looked up, and water began to rain from the sky. His whole body was covered with water. As the water fell from the sky, he held out his hands, and some of the water droplets fell into his hands.

John began to celebrate; he jumped up and threw his fist in the air. "Yes, I did it."

In that moment, a fury rose inside Bam Bam's heart. "Does this boy think that this is a game?" he gritted his teeth as he closed his fist with the water still present in his hand. He quickly dashed to where John was standing.

John noticed Bam Bam coming towards him; this was what he wanted. However, John struggled to take out the lighting stone from his jeans's pocket. His jeans's pocket was a little tight, so he had a hard time taking it out, and when he finally took out the lighting elemental stone, it was too late.

Bam Bam struck John from the right side. When the pernach made contact with his right arm, he could feel something crack, and John was sent flying. Further, to make matters worse, the elemental lighting stone also fell from his hand when he fell down on the ground.

"Aaaaaah", John was screaming in agony as he held onto his right arm. 

Leonidas screamed at John. "Get up, boy!". Leonidas then noticed something laying on the ground not far from where he was sitting.

John looked up and saw Bam Bam walking toward him. He gritted his teeth and forced himself up.  He looked around to see where the lighting stone fell but couldn't find it. Bam Bam then attack John again; he swung the pernach in a horizonal strike, aiming for John's head.

John managed to react quickly and ducked under the incoming attack just in time. The vampire boy then seized the chance for a counterattack; he quickly rose from the crouched position. He viciously gazed at Bam Bam before extending his right leg outward with his foot flying through the air and executing a horizontal kick, hitting Bam Bam in the face and knocking the man backward.

Not wanting to give the man space to breathe, John then quickly bolted to Bam Bam. He jumped into the sky, extending his leg and kicking the man straight in the face with a jumping kick. Breaking the man's nose and knocking him down on the ground.

Cory and the man who was standing next to him could not believe what they were seeing. "What the fuck just happened?"

The man with the big nose mouth was agape "I don't know, boss"

Bam Bam's right hand touched his face, and he felt the pain that was coming from his nose. He looked at his hand, which was stained with blood, with a shocked expression. He then looked up to see John standing above him and said, "Get up.".

Leonidas had a half smile on his face. "It's about time, brat.". 

"You just made the biggest mistake of your life, kid." Bam Bam stood up while staring at the boy. Bam Bam felt humiliated by a young boy breaking his nose and knocking him to the ground at the same time. He made the decision that the boy has to die; this humiliation and disrespect are not something that he can live with.

He gripped the pernach with both hands "Die!"

Bam Bam jumped in the air and came down with a vertical strike. John's left eye began to glow red, and he shifted his body to the side, perfectly dodging Bam Bam's attack. John cocked his left arm back, clenching his hand tightly into a fist. "I didn't want to fight, but you left me with no choice." John unleashed a devastating punch, drilling into Bam Bam's face and knocking a few teeth out in the process.

Bam Bam was knocked back and landed straight on his back. He was almost knocked unconscious, but he bit his teeth before that could happen. 

"Come on, big man, hurry up; you're making me late for my appointment."

Cory couldn't believe how strong this young boy was. He had a serious expression on his face: "Nose, take out your bow, and shoot the boy."

The man named Nose was shocked "Boss, but what about what Bam Bam?"

Cory became irritated about what Nose said: "I don't give a fuck what Bam Bam said; you do what I say! Now take out your fucking bow and shoot the boy!"

Nose this time did not question Cory any further; he then took out the bow that was handing on his back. He then took one arrow from his quiver and aimed the bow at John.

Bam Bam couldn't stand up, as he was still in a daze. John then decided to end the battle with Bam Bam by giving him the finishing blow. He walked up to Bam Bam, and before he could stomp the man on the ground, he felt something piercing his skin. He looked to his right and saw an arrow inside his right shoulder. He looked to the bridge, and he noticed the man with the big nose holding a bow in his hand. He looked back at his shoulder, and blood began to drip to the ground.

John tried to remove the arrow, but as soon as he touched the end, he could feel a pain jolting inside his shoulder. 

Furthermore, while John was still in shock from an arrow piercing his shoulder, he did not expect Bam Bam to stand up so quickly. 

"Take this." Bam Bam swung the pernach straight into John's stomach, sending the boy tumbling back like a tumbleweed. John coughed out a mouthful of blood.

Leonidas was still crawling on the ground; he gritted his teeth as he was powerless to do anything.

John was lying on the ground, breathing in and out, trying to gather more strength. He lifted his upper body up and saw Bam Bam coming towards him, looking like an angry lion, ready to devour his flesh. 

"I need more time, dammit," John thought to himself.

However, something dropped right next to his head. He looked at the object and turned his attention to where it came from, and he saw Leonidas flashing him the middle finger.

John giggled lightly. He then took the lighting elemental stone, and he could feel the electricity entering his body. Bam Bam came near him, and John streched out his arm with his five fingers pointing towards him. "Please don't kill me."

Bam Bam had no pity for the boy; his nose and mouth were still dripping with blood. The man was angry; he loomed over John. Next, he slowly lifted his pernach, ready to end the boy's life with one blow: "Hehehe, go to hell, you fucking monster.".

Bam Bam was about to strike John until he noticed that John's fingers were emanating electricity. While still standing with the pernach over his head, "What the fuck?"

John evilly grinned before shouting "POWER!". 

Bam Bam was caught off guard by the unexpected assault. He was unsure of how to react, but it was too late. Next, tendrils of lighting crawled through the air at super speed towards the bandit, enveloping him in a web of electrical energy. Five bolts of lightning surged through his body, causing him to cry and convulse in pain.

The two men at the back were also caught off guard. "How is he doing that?" The man with the big nose cried out. 

"Bam Bam!" Cory shouted

Leonidas watched everything with a grin on his face. "Not bad, kid."

As Bam Bam was still in the middle of the attack, the pernach slipped from both of his hands and clattered on the ground.

John, who was still on the ground, continued to project electricity from his finger tips, maintaining control over the fierce attack. "I HAVE BOTTOMLESS POWER! Hahahahaha!"

As the electric attack intensified, Bam Bam could not handle the onslaught anymore, and he unwillingly collapsed to the ground, rendering him in an unconscious state from John's electrical attack.

John then rose slowly from the ground; the electrical energy had already dissipated from his fingertips. He stood tall, with his left eye glowing red.

He then turned his attention to the two men who were still standing near the bridge. "Who's next?"
