Chapter 4: Cultural Invasion

"Nice to meet you Ashina Uzumaki," Tanaka nodded, "I wont beat around the bush then, I would like to invite Uzumaki Clan to join my Shinobi Village in the Land of Dragon" Tanaka said seriously.

"Shinobi Village? Interesting, and what would we get by joining you?" Ashina didnt refute immediately but asked first.

"Freedom, safety, food, shelter, resources and many more" Tanaka said with a smile an aura of confidence excluding from him.

"Haha, Do you think, we the Uzumaki Clan lacks all of that?" Ashina asked sarcastically.

"No, you dont lack it right now, but how about in the future? do you think that Uzumaki clan would remain powerful forever? just think about it, your sealing techniques are feared all over the shinobi world, what do you think will happen if all the countries decided to do it?" Tanaka asked.

"Are you threatening us?" Ashina asked with a frown.

"Im not threatening you, Im just pointing out the probability of the future" Tanaka said.

After a few seconds of silence, "I will think over about it for now, you may stay in the Uzumaki village as long as you like" Ashina said.

"Okay, im expecting your answer" Tanaka said with a smile and left.

Ashina sighed and became silent, he started thinking about what Tanaka had said.

"Father, are you thinking of accepting his invitation?" Mito asked.

"I dont know, what he all said is true, no one dares to make enemy of us mostly because of me, then what will happen to Uzumaki Clan if I die?" Ashina asked as he stared at Mito.

"I will protect it" Mito said resolutely.

"Then? what happens after you are gone?" Ashina asked.

"Thats..." Mito didnt know what to answer.

"Its true, we are powerful right now and we dont need any protection, but this cant continue forever" Ashina sighed once again.

"What shall we do then?" Mito asked.

"We wont accept his offer yet, let us see if he is trust worthy" Ashina commented.

"As you wish" Mito bowed and left.

Tanaka was strolling around the Uzumaki village, admiring it, since it was not really showed in the anime.

He was not in a hurry to get their answers since something like this must not be rushed, well, he got so much free time, why not use it to something.

Tanaka then went into a near by forest and sat there, he knew Ashina sent some people to observe him but he doesnt really care.

He then crossed his leg and closed his eyes, then sensed one of his clones in the Ryu.

"Clone swap!"

*Swoosh!

Tanaka then felt his whole body going at a very fast speed and in the next moment the feeling disappeared.

Tanaka opened his eyes and looked around, he was back at the Ryugakure, in this few months, Tanaka did not dispell his clones, though they needed to rest, eat and sleep.

Still Tanaka didnt mind, the clones worked very hard and the Ryugakure expanded once again.

Tanaka nodded as he walked around his village, after that, he made his way towards the middle of the village.

The streets were extremely organized in his village, Tanaka used the idea from his modern past life since it was the best one he could think of.

Anyways, reaching the middle of the Ryugakure, Tanaka looked up and saw the Mansion of the leader of the village, it was also his formerly log house.

He based its architecture to Osaka Castle, well, the design was different since Tanaka added statues of Dragons and also added a gigantic structure of a golden dragon on top of the roof, signifying the Ryugakure, or Hidden Dragon Village.(A/N: Full name of village is Village Hidden among Dragons)

Tanaka then entered inside While the exterior of the keep shows 5 stories, inside there are 8.

There was few decorations inside but since it was newly built it was understandable Tanaka consoled himself, still, the Mansion was very huge.

Anyways, Tanaka was not here to tour around his mansion for now but for something, he entered one of the storage rooms and found he was looking for.

It was a huge room with many different kind of shounen jump were placed, with the hard work of Tanaka's clones, he was able to recreate many types of manga.

For now, he was able to draw 5 of the completed Manga he had read in his previous life.

It was Dragon Ball, Gintama, Sailor Moon, Doraemon and Solo Leveling, while he was also at it, he improved the drawing quality and they would be comparable to Solo Leveling, of course, he wrote the credits to the original authors.

Tanaka then took all of the books and took out a scroll, it was the inventory scroll that Tanaka had purchased in the Uzumaki village while he was strolling around.

He then stored 100 pieces of each manga into the scroll, since the max capacity of the scroll was 500 pieces.

Tanaka then sat crossed legged and swapped with his clone.

*Swoosh!

Tanaka reappeared back at the Uzumaki village carrying a scroll, which surprised the people watching him.

Tanaka stretched his body and made his way back into the clan leader hall.

"Ashina!" Tanaka called out, not caring about the antiques.

"How may I help you Ryuo Tanaka?" Ashina asked calmly.

"I want to get permission if I could sell these things?" Tanaka said then gave 5 different jumps to Ashina.

"May I ask what is this?" Ashina asked.

"Yeah, Its called Manga, a form of entertainment, hmm, how should I explain this, its like reading a painting with texts, something like that" Tanaka 'explained'.

"I dont quite understand it but let me see" Ashina nodded and opened the first manga which was Doraemon.

In one shounen Jump there would be a total of 5 chapters with 21 pages each chapter, and was also already colored, thankfully Tanaka was able to create primitive printer which lightened the work of his clones.

After a while, Ashina finished reading and closed the book, he then looked at Tanaka.

"I must say, you have a creative mind Ryuo Tanaka," Ashina commented, for him, all of the machines he saw in the manga was a new world he had never seen before.

And it fascinated him, what if those things actually existed? would it not be helpful if used correctly? he sighed, this Ryuo Tanaka was mysterious.

"I shall allow it" Ashina nodded.

"Okay, take those 5 as my gift for you need to buy the next book though" Tanaka said then waved goodbye.

Ashina chuckled and read the other books, its rare to have some kind of entertainment in this chaotic period.

Tanaka left the Clan leader hall, and went towards to one of the free space in the uzumaki village.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

*Poof!

10 clones appeared around him.

"Lets work!" Tanaka commanded then all of them started working, Tanaka purchased some building materials from the Uzumaki Clan then built himself a small wooden cottage in a few hours.

Tanaka then started decorating the place, he let the clones the working while he goes back to get some more items.

Which the ones he took were figurines, poster, anime card collection that he created just for fun.

He then returned to the Uzumaki village and added all of it, It took half a day for Tanaka to finish his work.

He then opened his shop, well, he somewhat expects his business to become popular but the Uzumaki Clan only watched him from afar.

"Guess, I'll wait" He entered inside and waited for his first customer.

It didnt take long for someone to make trouble with him, ahem, he means his first customer, it was Uzumaki Mito.

"I would like to buy 5 books" Mito said, she took 5 different manga.

"You are lucky! One shounen jump costs 100 ryo but since your my customer, It will only cost you 499 Ryo and you will also get 1 figurine!" Tanaka said with a smile, he then returned 1 ryo to Mito.

Mito wanted to say something but she stopped herself, Tanaka then handed her a figurine which was Doraemon.

Mito then left after that, seeing the princess of Uzumaki clan purchasing a jump, the Uzumaki Clan became interested and started checking his merchandise.

Tanaka smiled 'This is the start of Cultural Invasion!' he laughed at his mind.

2 months has passed since Tanaka arrived at the Uzumaki village and the Uzumaki Clan members started opening up to him.

He could now casually chat with them for no damn reason, then make a lame joke which makes them laugh at each other, all in all, he became close friends with them.

The Manga also became popular, almost all of the Uzumaki Clan members read it, the cultural invasion was doing exceedingly well.

Tanaka today didnt hole up to his shop, he was with some Uzumaki Clan members who wanted to patrol around.

Tanaka wanted to have some fresh air so he volunteered to join.

"Tanaka-san, when are you going to release the next jump? I am excited to see the next chapter of Solo Leveling" A young man with red hair said.

"Shin, just wait for it" Tanaka replied and patted the young man on the head, his name was Shin Uzumaki, and his favorite manga was solo leveling, he frequently visits Tanaka asking for the next jump.

As they continued moving, Tanaka suddenly raised his hand and made everyone stop.

"We are surrounded"
