Looking at Veronica's group that was approaching the squad , Zakai shouted

"Have you got what I wanted?"

Veronica sighed, before saying "I don't know why you want this, but here"

a book was thrown over to Zakai causing him to click his tongue

it was the late lotus grimoire, a famous mage for his smoke magic

storing it, Zakai drew attention away from him and commanded his grimoire to eat the smoke magic grimoire, which it happily consumed discretely

"And now, the main prize," Zakai smirked with pride as he looked towards the treasury, which contains thousands of magical gems and relics

"How are we supposed to move all of this?" As they opened the door, Zakai saw a large number of gems and clicked his tongue

Making a large portal using Spatial magic, Zakai said

"One of you go through this portal and guard the other side while the rest of us transport everything through the portal with our magic."

"I'll go." Luck said with a smile "Perhaps there will be some more opponents!" He stretched out his hand, causing Noelle to sigh

"Hmph, all brawn no brains" Noelle flicked her hair in pride, which caused Klaus to nod

"Are we sure we can trust a peasant like him to protect the portal?"

Zakai shrugged, beginning the operation by casting a large portal that led to the field they were in before

Luck jumped through it, and the rest started to move all the treasures into the portal

"Hmm?" Asta said, watching the Newly named Nero pecking at his head and pointing towards a tile in the wall

going up and examining it, Asta poked the tile and watched it fall down, revealing the insides of the room

a large amount of dust swept out of the room, causing everyone to cough as they looked towards the boy slowly move towards an inconspicuous sword placed in the middle of the room

the sword was well, normal, with the tip of the sword buried into the ground

Yuno, on the other hand, was attracted with a scroll in the other side of the room that resonated with his magic

"What are you doing?" Klaus shouted to both "Stop fucking around and help us!"

Asta touched the sword, only to watch it turn to dust

Yuno touched the scroll he was interested in and watched as the ink became invisible, as the page slowly disintegrated into dust

seeing the dungeon shaking, Zakai shouted

"What did you do? we didn't all of the treasure!"

"Uh... I didn't touch anything! I swear!" Asta screamed, running into the portal

Yuno didn't say anything as he also went through the portal to seek refuge from the crumbling dungeon

after sighing, Zakai joined them as he walked through the portal and seeing the half-empty dungeon chamber crumble

walking through, Zakai saw the familiar grass and trees as Veronica sighed

"If you didn't know spatial magic, we would be dead." She sighed, before looking at me suspiciously "why do you call the names of the magic when doing your "Copy magic?" for example you call [Wind magic: Zephr arrow] instead of [Copy magic: Zephr magic]"

"Dunno, just the nature of my magic" Zakai put up his hands and shrugged, watching as the girl before he sighed "Come on, we need to go back and report this to Fuegelon," Veronica said "Plus, we need an escort team to transport these magic relics into the kingdom's treasury"

"Yeah, how are we supposed to contact them?"

Klaus pushed up his glasses before letting up a disdainful Hmph! which seemed to be a common thing among the noble

Klaus pushed up his glasses before saying "We, the prestigious golden dawn squad, have a flare in case of an emergency that we can use to contact magic teams

Asta screamed "COool! I need to tell captain Yami to get us those!"

Zakai sighed, as they set up camp for the night while he recovers his mana, which seemed to absorb the ambient mana to help replenish his mana reserves

looking towards the bunch, Zakai created sleeping bags and logs to burn as he looked towards the group

"Do you guys know anything about a dryad?"

Mimosa's head perked up before saying "Huh? yeah I know a bit....." She looked at me "Why do you ask?"

Zakai looked at her, before saying "Just curiosity of mythical races I read in a book."

Mimosa looked at me with a kind smile before saying "My butler told me stories of races like Dwarfes and Dryads, all though there just rumours he told me as a child. are you sure you want to hear them?"

"Yes please."

"Well, dryads are known to be the protector of the weak and are kind and truthful, being beings made out of pure mana like the spirits-"

Yuno's book suddenly opened, causing a small fairy creature to erupt from it

All of the group got in an Offensive position, causing the fairy to squeal and raise her tiny hands up

"Relax, relax I'm just a small spirit?"

"A spirit.....?" Yuno looked at the small figure that came out of his grimoire with a confused expression "How did you get there?"

The small being put her hands behind her head and muttered "I had waited for the one for me to claim ownership for a master, and then you came!"

Yuno's expression didn't change as he looked towards the small spirit with a confused look

"Where did you come from.... and what is your name?"

Klaus gave a mutter "Impossible, how has he got a spirit!"

"My name is slyphie! a wind spirit." She patted her chest in pride before saying "And I came from that boring old scroll."

Zakai heard this and thought of the scroll he picked up and learned the lyrics from

"Wait! he didn't even have to chant!" Zakai gave a wry smile before looking at the spirit "Spirits and dryads are the same, right?"

Twisting her head, Slyphie looked at me with confusion

"How interesting." She gave a cunning smile "You like a 3-way hybrid."

"What do you mean?"

She suddenly flew to me whispered in my ear "You've been blessed by The dryad right?"

Zakai looked at the small fairy and sighed "Why did you avoid my question?"

She laughed, before going back to yuno and humming

"What a weird Spirit." Doing a facepalm, Zalak looked towards the group and got in his sleeping bag

"Im going to sleep, goodnight."

Yawning, Zakai got to sleep. today was exhausting that was for sure

waking up, Zakai estimated that it was around 4 o clock when he felt mana signals near him, causing him to wake up everyone, who was asleep

the group showed themself immediately, bowing

"We've came here to collect the magic gems and escort you back to the kindgom"

Zakai sighed, before saying "You just need to collect the magic gems, I'll use my spatial magic and get back to the capital"

"Why didn't you do that before!" Klaus screamed, causing Zakai's eyes to stare at him

"Unlike the talented finral, I can reach the capital when I know where am I fully am, so give me a map, besides it will take at least 8 large spatial magic gates to go there, so unless you want to carry the gems every single time through the portal which would take longer than the actual trip there"

Klaus clicked his tongue before saying "Fair point."

it would be mana extensive to keep the portal open to transfer all of the magic gems 8 times in one day, not to mention the mana it would take

opening a portal, Zakai looked towards the group of clover kindgom grunts and said to asta and Noelle and luck "I don't know where the black bull base is, so why don't you go with this clover kindgom people to confirm that there, not diamond kingdom people disguised

"Anyway, the rest of you can come." Zakai walked through the portal with a smile

Author note, I'm not very good with arc's like this when there are multiple characters, so I think that the mc should do different things and separate from the other squads. this way, it spices up things and doesn't show repeats of arcs that you've probably seen. anyway, I'm not satisfied with the quality of the recent chapters but i promise it will get better when its just veronica and mc
