Surrender
The moment Nimtuk stepped onto the stage Astoria already knew everything about him and his people. Alice sent her a signal from Excalibur back in Demon's Thorns and downloaded all data they have gathered regarding this possible threat.
It is quite impossible to not notice a two kilometer long ship within a world full of magic. Albeit it is located 8 kilometers down the ocean sea bed.
Alice already started scanning the ship and its entire occupants after getting into this Earth's orbit. It is conveniently hidden in a very deep trench and is using some sort of cloaking system, but it is way outdated and Alice has a lot more powerful sensors.
After getting all the details and the threat assessment from Alice, Astoria started by activating her Nano Suit.
However, she was surprised when she saw her opponent waved at her and pressed a button on the arm console of his battle suit.
A few seconds later the battle suit opened like a cockpit and the scaled merman stepped out of it unarmed.

"No need to fight! I surrender." - Nimtuk said while holding his hands up. "All I ask is a moment of your time later so that our Commander can talk to your leader."
Astoria tilted her head towards Adam then spoke on her suit's coms system.
After receiving a confirmation from Adam, she nodded towards the merman and accepted his surrender.
A few seconds later the Gong indicating Astoria's win sounded amids the confused audiences.
Both of them gave another nod to each other before walking out of the ring.
Astoria stopped when she reached the last step down the stage and turned around again.
She went back up ready to face the next challenger.

She watched as a naked humanoid creature with a face of a rat and bat wings at the back started floating up the stage. It's got a tail dangling on its back and 4 long arms with razor black claws on its sides.
Its mouth is open and a long black tongue is swishing around dripping saliva.
The most eye catching thing though is its dick dangling around while its flapping its wings.
"Oh hello there, you smell weird for a human but your body looks delicious, I wanna fuck it later after I kill you."
He then started laughing like a maniac while looking at her lasciviously.

Astoria felt disgusted with the demon in front of her.
Even knowing that she needs to get this guy to show his power for their research, she still can't help wishing to end the match right away.
She glanced towards Adam and saw he himself looked disgusted and offended.
She took that as an approval to eliminate the disgusting creature right away.
From her back an oscillating laser cannon materialized and started firing three rapid salvos towards the demon.
Each one of them is enough to shatter Beatriz's shield earlier.
However after the impact she was astonished to see that the Demon is unscathed.

He laughed some more relishing the moment. He can clearly see the confusion on the girl's face.
He watched her fire a few more salvoes with the same results.

Astoria realized that her opponent must have some sort of defence that negates any damage.
She taught for a second and changed her attack.
She smiled towards her opponent then stretched out her hand. She created a portal right under his feet and watched him fall.
She created the exit 500 thousand miles from the sun.
She watched her sensor as the demon started to be sucked by the sun's gravity well.
After a few minutes, the demon is moving at a few hundred thousand feet a seconds due to a little gravity manipulation trick from Astoria.
She monitored his temperature all this time. When she saw that he is already more than 1000 thousand degrees celsius, she created another portal and reset his position at 500 thousand miles from the sun again.
She repeated this process again and again she got bored and set the exit point 20 feet above the ring. He came through the portal with a tremendous exit velocity.
This is the same process that Adam's fleet used against Theodore, they gathered big boulders from Pluto and used it as a projectile with this method. By the time that the huge rocks exit the portal their velocity is so great that their intended target crumbles due to the massive inertia.
The impact obliterated the entire stage. Good thing that Adam's drones are still projecting their shield around the stage so that damage is contained within. Astoria simply created her own shield and weathered the massive shockwave.
Technically speaking, the demon was actually the one attaching the solid ground, his skill did not kick in.
A few moments later the Gong sounded declaring Astoria as the winner.

Due to the damage inflicted to the stage, it was declared that the next match is going to be delayed for a few days.
However when the last challenger was asked, he decided to forfeit the fight in exchange for a time to talk with Adam like the Atlanteans.
Adam accepted the resignation and after gathering his girls, they were beamed out of the arena unto the waiting Excalibur in orbit.
