Buying a slave

In the slave market a loud voice was heard in the actuation hall which attracted the attention of many people present there.

" I present to you all the most beautiful and untouched slaves of the market. She is from the village of the Gu dynasty. Just look at her skin so milky snow white, look at her figure so beautiful and perfect" The actuator said attracting more attention from the crowd.

Gu Hui was pushed into the middle of the stage. Her clothes were dirty and torn. Even though her face was covered with mud, it didn't hide her beauty.

She looked straight into the crowd with no fear. If not for protecting Ah Du who was in the slave market, she would have never been here. With her sword, she could have killed the man and every person who was looking at her with hungry and lustful eyes.

"Let's start the auction with 100 golds" The actuator slammed the wooden hammer into the wooden table and looked at the bidders with a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

" 150 gold coin" a man shouted from the crowd.

" 200 gold coin" another man shouted from the crowd.

" 250 gold coin" again another man shouted from the crowd.

" 5000 gold coin " a voice was heard around the actuation hall.

The actuator was more than happy. He happily shouted " Is there anyone else, who wants to raise the price and take this beautiful slave home?".

"No then the slave is sold to that gentleman with 5000 gold coins. My lord can you pls come backstage to make the payment procedure and sign the agreement".

This made everyone shocked and look at the person who was ready to spend so much money on a mere slave. They were in formal clothes so no one guessed their identity.

At the end of the crowd, Zhon Shanshan was shocked to hear the crown prince bid for a slave.

" Your royal highness this is …"

Zhon Shanshan was also speaking something when Jin Yuchen signed him to stop.

" Go and bring that slave to me, we will take her to the palace," the crown prince Jin Yuchen said.

Zhon Shanshan went to the building to sign the agreement and make the payment procedure while Jin Yuchen smiled devilishly looking into Gu Hui's eyes.

There was one thought in his eyes "The same eyes with no fear of death".

On the stage, Gu Hui was being dragged backstage. Now, she knew she was in danger. That devil Jin Yuchen had recognized her from the start.

Her initial plan for coming here was to save Ah Du and run from there but she didn't know she will be in a big problem.

Once she goes into Jin Yuchen's hand, she can't take revenge on him. He knew that she was the one who attacked him and she was the dancer at the royal banquet.

After all the procedure Gu Hui was forcefully taken to the carriage where Jin Yuchen was sitting inside the carriage.

Sensing their arrival outside the carriage,

" Zhon Shanshan send her inside the carriage" Jin Yuchen said.

Gu Hui didn't want to go but was forcefully pushed inside the carriage. She then lands on the Jin Yuchen foot.

She looks up to see him smiling and looking at her.

He takes her chin in his hand and he bends closer to her face.

As Jin Yuchen's face drew closer to Gu Hui's, her heart raced with a mix of fear and anger. She could feel the weight of his dominance, his power coming off him like an aura. At that moment, she realized the seriousness of the danger she was in.

"We meet again, dear attacker, dear dancer, and now a slave," Jin Yuchen said in a husky voice, his words filled with a mix of amusement and laughter.

Gu Hui's eyes grew bigger as she met his stare, with a strong determination as usual. She was not going to allow his insults to destroy her and make her feel less valuable.

She replied, "I may be the slave now, but my spirit, desire and goal are unbroken " Her voice, laced with rebellion, matched his tone.

Jin Yuchen's lips formed a sly smile, hearing Gu Hui "Tell me, dear slave, how do you plan to achieve your desire, spirit, goal?"

"hmmm By Killing me ".

" You knew my intention then why did you buy me? It's like inviting the thief inside your house full of jewellery, gold and money" Gu Hui replied.

Gu Hui's statements caused a mix of curiosity in Jin Yuchen. He had never met anyone with her extremely sharp tongue and bold personality. He realized that she was aware of his true motives and the threat he posed.

" I know that but do you think you can kill me or do anything to me? Remember who am I, I am Jin Yuchen. Welcome to my hell and I am the devil, you are my slave. Interesting days are ahead of us " Jin Yuchen said.

He found himself drawn to her bold personality.

Jin Yuchen observed Gu Hui and concluded that she possessed a rare quality. The fact that she knew she was in danger from him but was not afraid. He was used to being in power, superior then others, but her presence made him feel out of control and made him want to learn more about this mysterious woman.

As the carriage continued its journey, Jin Yuchen couldn't help but wonder why this girl in front of him hated him so much. What life lessons had made her the determined being she was now in front of him? What reason made her determine to kill him??? Who was helping her from behind to kill him?

On the other hand, Gu Hui was thinking about Ah Du. She thought about what may have happened to her.

Ah Du was only the family she has. She didn't want to lose her like she loosed her whole dynasty and family.
