The Secret II

[Drake was taken away by the mask security. I didn't know what was going on and what should I do now. As I was thinking, I was taken by the scientist #1 by my arm.] (Janice thinking)

"Excuse me. Can I talk to Drake for one minute, please?" -Janice

No response.

NOTE :

the scientist labeled with

Scientist # 1 and Scientist are

the same person.

The scientist seemed to be so angry that he was hurting her by grabbing so hard. After reaching his room, he released her, started thinking and

was so confused about something. Janice didn't know what to say.

"You couldn't wait for one day?!!" -scientist

As he was shouting, she stood there knowing nothing.

"We were almost there..

We were almost there!

But you had to ruin everything !!!"

"What did I do? I was worried sick about him. He won't tell me anything about what is wrong with him. He won't come home. He won't eat. I had no other choice !" -Janice

"You ask what you did? You don't know what you did?!" -scientist

"What?!" -Janice

"You actually don't know? Oh God!" -scientist

He left the room as she was clueless of what was happening.

The room had 2 single beds and two study tables.

[It seems that Drake was living here. Is the scientist his friend?

Why Drake was so worried back then? Where he is now? Why was the scientist so angry that time?] (Janice thinking)

The scientist came back after one hour. Janice was asleep on Drake's bed.

After shouting at Janice he went to the laboratory, asking about Drake from others,

he found him in a lab prison. Head down, hands shaking, was sitting on a bench. Drake saw him.

"Where is she?" -Drake

"In our room." -scientist

"You know? It's not her fault. She doesn't know."

-Drake

"Why didn't you tell her?" -scientist

"What I would've thought? I didn't know what was going to happen. All I knew was she doesn't need to know. How was I supposed to tell her?

-Drake

"You do know that they are going to experiment on you?' -scientist

Silence.

"She needs to know what she has don-" -scientist

"No.!" -Drake

After a few minutes of silence, Drake said,

"Be nice to her, will ya?"

~ comes back to his senses, in his room, standing next

to Janice. ~

Janice woke up. She hasn't eaten for 36 hours.

She saw the scientist sitting on his table alongside Drake's.

"Was Drake here? Did he come back?" -Janice

"We don't know each other. So, there is no reason to talk to me. And … Drake's not coming back. If he comes back, he will tell you." -roommate

"You can at least tell me where is he right now? I can go by myself." -Janice

"You can't go outside. You can't leave this room even if you want to and its for your own

safety." -roommate

"Like I will do, as you say." -Janice

Janice tries to open the door but it was locked.

"The food is on the Drake's table. Eat." -roommate

A week passed by. He won't let her go

outside. She hasn't seen Drake since that day.

Janice noticed that the scientist went earlier today than usual. It was 4am. Janice decided to look after the Drake's things. A beautiful photo of Drake and Janice was on his table that made her smile. When she went through his table's drawers. She saw keys. They were probably the room keys. She prayed and tried to open the

door with it. The door opened.

She went outside. She saw many rooms in the

corridor. But it felt empty like nobody was

in the corridor. She walked, investigating the

environment and things around her. There were many laboratories next to the cooridors with different experiments performed in it. In a lab, She saw some people frozen in a cylindrical shaped transparent mirror. But she couldn't see through, were they dead or- She came to the end where there were stairs. She went up. She saw all the scientists are present there.

NOTE :

Scientist labelled as scientists are

just random scientists.

As, the scientists saw her,

"Hey, what are you doing here?" -scientist

Grabbed her and tried to take her downstairs.

"STOP!" ,said the boss.

Scientist stopped and turned her around.

When the Drake's roommate saw her (eyes were wide open) he was too surprised, thinking how she got out?

"Well, well. Look who we have here." -boss

Janice looking where all the scientist were looking. She saw Drake trapped in a cuboid.

"Things just got a little more exciting. Let her go." -boss

"Drake?" -Janice

She gets near to the cuboid.

"Oh, woah! woah! The cuboid is electrified. You can't touch it." -scientist

Drake couldn't talk because of the typical mask he was wearing and she also saw two people wearing a radioactive coat behind him. He couldn't talk but he was struggling. He could do nothing.

"She doesn't need to see this, sir. Let me send her to her room." -roommate

"No, You don't get to decide." -boss
