The Emperor and the Conjurer

Imperially Yours...A blend of romance, royalty and fantasy. History is written by the victors that is why you hear the Elves tell their descendants how they conquered this land and still glorify such an exercise. This land used to belong to us. But then they came: an annexation that brought us all-all three races- together and still pulled us farther apart. And they established a social order. Elves first, Fae, and the humans at the lowest rung of that order. I cannot be disappointed with my parents enough for being who they were-humans-and then birthing me. That was a huge disservice to me. In this world, you were only Elven or nothing. I was nothing by extension. But I never embraced that status. I was destined for more-rebellion, subversion, sedition- but nothing prepared me for catching the attention of the Emperor of the Elven colonies...and I was going to pay for it. I still baffle at how I was increasingly attracted to the tyrant Emperor who was not just known to be condescending and ruthless but cold and unfeeling; unkind and cruel. In this midst of this I was going to change and experience things like I have never before and I will struggle with myself to overcome the darkness that seeks to take me with it. There are three types of Magic: Benign, Grey and Malign. Two kinds were outlawed: Grey and Malign. I possessed Malign magic within me and soon I would find out why it was outlawed...
