Resumen

Dario Art had tried so hard to find out what his hart is. The power of his bloodline passed down through the generations. All of his hopes and ambitions where crushed over and over again as the only thing his father Drago left him was that lonely house and his families art tools, with nothing left and no heart to care(lol) what will the events of his final days mean for him?

Chapter 1The Earth without Art

A cool breeze blows greenish gold hair out of the man's drunken hazel eyes and wakes him up with a start. The effects of the hangover pounds his temples and makes him slip as he tried to stand up. Sprawled on the floor the memories of the last few days flood into his mind and force the tears out again.

He digs into his suit chest pocket to pull out a neatly folded note with his name on it. On the inside are the neatly written worlds he always wanted to hear in their most solemn form, a suicide note. His ex-fiance and fist loves family had always been trying to split them apart since the mysterious death of his father and he was constantly scorned for never awakening his hart.

Eventually she agreed to break the wedding for the greater good of her family as his noble house had long since fallen. Although he tried throught the years and fought for her increasing the power of both his soul and physical form he never awaked his hart and could only go but so far. She wrote him of the times they secretly communicated and how happy she was that he never gave up on her, she told him of the times he spent struggling on the stairway battlefield encouraged her to rank higher in the academy to take control of her own future.

Truly a tale of young love, sadly she couldn't get far from the clutches of the noble families and he used as a pawn to progress their prestige on the stairway. He clutched his head in madness and his usually calm face twisted in regret, if only he had a hart then he could have enrolled in the academy, his regret changed to hatred as his hatred was pointed to himself, her family and most of all his father for leaving him so clueless and heartbroken. He still remembered as his father made him watch as he stood in front of him and plunged the dagger in his chest, his last words being "You will feel in your heart when it is time to do the same."

Directly afterward mysterious runes lit up within the room as his father turned to dust and dissapearred from the world, this being the same room he went to whenever he felt down and the same he was in right now. After her suicide he didn't know what to do anymore. He looked up towards the alter in the center of the room and at that familiar knife that never moved, and yet something inside of him stirred with great ferocity. His mind still clouded with alcohol he embraced this burning feeling rather than ignore it as usual. He stared almost hypnotized by this feeling as he pushed himself against the wall to get up. He walked unsteadily to the knife as if possessed only to awaken from his stupor with it deep in his chest. The runes again lit up so reminiscent to all those years ago as he looked down at his hands and again at the knife. With his mind clear he sighed as a single tear fell from his eye and he turned to dust.

Unbeknownst to him the calamity of the world. The flooding seas, the raging winds, and the erupting volcanoes enraged and mourning at his death and the end of his bloodline. The Planet withired and the energy dispersed as worldwide panic blossomed. the world heart completely shattered and it was truly an earth without Art.

SYDLYNN HAYLE IS BACK in an all-new series! Enters the Phoenix A burst of fire blazed in the corner of my eye, jerking me around toward the back door. I barely remembered moving, feet flying over the hardwood, hands slamming against the glass and throwing it open, hurtling out into the dew-wet grass. Fire climbed from a curled up ball of humanity, near the edge of the hedge row leading to the park on the other side of our property. I staggered to a halt, power reflexively tightening around me, ready to attack, when the figure unbent, half sitting, half lying on the ground, her face turned up toward me. “RUN!” Her scream pierced me to my soul, froze my magic in place before it could harm her. Flames burned her, devoured her, dark hair and eyes on fire, but she managed to stagger to her feet, eyes pure gold as she gestured toward me. “Sydlynn Hayle, if you love your family, run and don’t look back!” Things have never been better for Sydlynn Hayle and her family, living out their lives in Wilding Springs, Pennsylvania. Her battles and struggles have come to a halt, her two young children happy and well-adjusted, marriage to her beloved Quaid all she could ever ask for. But when a woman of flame appears to her and warns her of impending danger, Syd understands at last the quiet she’s enjoyed has all been a smoke screen, hiding the truth. Her old enemies have returned to destroy her and everything her family has fought for, with repercussions that could threaten the very Universe. So much for happily ever after.

Blood and Gold Trilogy

I’m an international, multiple award-winning author with a passion for the voices in my head. Now that my dream to write for a living is a reality, with over a hundred titles in happy publication and no end in sight, I live in beautiful Prince Edward Island, Canada, with my giant cats, pug overlord and overlady and my Gypsy Vanner gelding, Fynn. Banished to Victorian London “Auburdeen Perneila Hayle,” Sassafras hissed, the amber glow from his cat eyes growing until the front of the wicker cage shone with it, “you will do whatever you can to behave yourself, to not embarrass me or your mother and to absolutely under every circumstance maintain a firm hand on your horrid temper.” My anger simmered. Yes, I had a temper. And yes, it had taken me into situations in the past that perhaps I shouldn't have been part of, situations that usually devolved into fistfights and incoherent yelling at the offender. He should be grateful I always kept control of myself enough my magic never came into play. Except that one time. But it wasn't my fault. Not really. And the offender recovered. Eventually. Auburdeen Hayle is the sixteen-year-old daughter of the next leader of her coven. When the transition of power becomes tense, Burdie is sent from her home in America to stay with old friends in London to keep her safe. But a handsome young man chooses to hide from the police in her hansom, drawing Burdie into an underground world of magic that challenges even her sense of adventure and puts her at odds with the very people who are meant to protect her.
