Goblins

Remember what I said earlier about me being at the top or whatever?

Well just forget about that.

I'm too busy getting chased around by a Level 3 Goblin.

As I ran around Floor 1, screaming, more goblins began to surround me.

Just as soon as my adventure had begun, it was about to end. I pulled my katana out of its sheath on my hip and remembered the words my grandmother had told me before I left home.

"This blade is no ordinary blade, Terobu. It is inbued with the magical power of the goddess Teroshimi."

I lifted up my blade and focused. The normally black blade began to glow blue as sparks flickered along the tip.

"That blade..."

I ran into a cluster of goblins.

"Has the power of lightning."

I swung my blade and it sliced three goblins clean in half. Their bodies flopped to the floor. The other goblins looked at the bodies of their fallen warriors and cried out in rage. They all rushed forward at once.

I slammed my sword into the ground, creating an electrical field around me. Goblins flopped left and right, getting shocked by the electricity. Soon, they were all dead.

As I flicked the blood off my blade, holographic words scrolled in front of me.

LEVEL 2

I smiled.

Maybe I could master this dungeon after all.
