A Shut-in's True Power

[THIS NOVEL HAS BEEN DROPPED. READ ONLY IF YOU'RE FINE WITH QUITTING HALFWAY. Also don't buy the last 2 chapters. They're just drafts filled with random gibberish.] There was once a man who focused his entire life on "self-improvement". He learned each and every life skill anyone could think of. From cooking to swordsmanship. From cleaning to martial arts. His sole purpose in living was to perfect every life skill he could learn. To him, the more complicated a skill is to learn, the more satisfaction he finds in perfecting it. He developed his knowledge, his strength and his spirit. As time passed, his obsession only grew. He started ignoring the world around him and locked himself in his house to improve his "writing" skill, turning himself into what we call a shut-in. With no one who could intervene, he ended up overworking himself to death. However, his way of life amused a particular goddess. As such, for her own future amusement, she offered him to reincarnate in another world. The man's answer to this offer? Obviously he agreed! In a fantasy world with a new instrument called "magic", The man taking the identity of "Dusk Nightmoon" hopes to find the joy of learning even more interesting and complicated skills. However will he be able to remain as indifferent to the outside world as he was in his previous life? or will the people of this world and the dangers within, influence him to change as a person? Find out in this novel which is a mixture of fantasy, comedy and action! DISCLAIMER: This is my first novel, so I can't make any promises about it being good. I am also only doing this for fun. Still though feel free to point out any mistakes! (while being as respectful as possible or I'll get depressed) Cover art was also not created by me. I used an ai app to generate it. I have Tourette Syndrome but so what!

Hello everybody I'm Aphrodite, the female protagonist of this story. You could be wondering what happened to me. Since the age of two, I've had Tourette Syndrome, and life in middle and primary school has been awful. And I occasionally get tics and dizzy every few days. My illness is, however, definitely under control thanks to the medication. In high school, I met my boyfriend Zack, who is quite attractive and unquestionably intelligent. He is also caring and supportive, in contrast to my crazy best friend Ariel, who is always the most chatty and there for me. But one day, everything changed when Leo, the mayor's son, showed up at my school. We even had a lot of tense moments together! It's so awkward, too! I start to feel conflicting emotions toward him. I know I shouldn't be feeling this way because I already have a boyfriend, but I can't seem to shake the feelings. I remained apart from Leo. Days later, Zack realized how difficult our relationship was, and he started to act aggressively and throw temper tantrums at me because he thought I had an affair with Leo. If you want to find out what happened, feel free to read my story and remember to like, share, and comment down below! Love you all~ Aphrodite Writer‘s thought: Hello everyone, this book not only examines the love triangle between Apheodite, Zack, and Leo but also the definitions of friendship, family, true love, and various types of love from the viewpoints of various characters. Through the characters I created for this book, I was also able to express some of my own emotions. If you're a fan of my novel or pay close attention, you'll note that my female lead never uses anything other than Zack's name when addressing her boyfriend. Try to figure out why!

The Billionaire's Pet Bride

"I'll give you five million bucks if you can give me a child." The man's hoarse and sexy voice was like a devil's whisper. In order to get enough money to pay for her grandfather’s medical bill, Maisy Owen got into a strange man's bed. "Good girl." The man gently caressed her face like he was treating an obedient little pet. And then, he suddenly pressed her against the huge thing on his crotch. "If you dare to bite it, you won't get what you want." Choking, Maisy could not help but shed tears, but she still tried her best to play along because she had to get pregnant as soon as possible. However, Jay Hamilton was a very moody man, and he had no intention to let her get pregnant. She was played by him again and again but there was sign of her getting pregnant. She became so anxious that she had to go out of her way to seduce him, letting him take her to pound town regardless of time and place. After putting in an incredible effort, Maisy finally got pregnant with the devil's child. Knowing she was going to be free, she felt she was over the moon. In nine months, she would become the youngest, single, female millionaire. No one would ever know she was prisoned by a man and treated like a puppy. All those days of being pounded by him would go up in smoke. However, she underestimated the desire Jay had for her. After she had been pregnant for three months, he had his way with her again. "You're so thirsty!" The man caressed the swell of her belly and put a ring on her finger overbearingly. "Don't you ever try to run away. You're taken." "No, this is not what I want!" Maisy protested, but was penetrated more intensely. "So do you want this? No hurry, I'll give all of it to you."
