Zadkiel wriggled in his sheets, disturbed the chattering of boys. He fluttered his eyes open and turned around to see the time. It was almost 8:30 which meant only half an hour for him to get to the breakfast table before they start collecting the dishes. But then he frowned thinking why Abel didn’t wake him up early. Not that he would go before everyone else considering he had to use the bathroom alone because of the injection. But still, Abel always woke him up at 7:30 am just to have a conversation before breakfast. The only exceptions were when Zadkiel woke up early himself or he didn’t wake up at all till noon.
He turned to his side and glanced at Abel’s bed which was empty. This was a little strange because even if Abel doesn’t wake him up, he waits for Zadkiel to wake up till breakfast time is over. If Zadkiel didn’t make it to the breakfast table, Abel wouldn’t eat his breakfast as well.
