The Child of Darkness

'What a nice day.'

The year 1543 was, as usual, a good year, it was summer, the sun was shining brightly and you could feel the warmth of nature and animals were running around everywhere, as well as the villagers in my village.

I lived happily and peacefully with my parents in my small village in the west near Eflil country, as the days passed the time changed so the seasons with it, people lived peacefully the harmony of love and attention of people towards each other could be heard, everything was good until that day...

'What is that' shouted while he stare in sky.

'What is happening' asked old woman.

'Mom, I'm scared' shouted child while hugging her mother.

Many people and villagers commented on the sight that happened in the sky, and so did I, I was confused about what was happening, a strong light suddenly appeared in the sky that was in my eyes and shone brighter than the sun itself.

'I should look for my parents--' shouted Arhur while thinking.

It was his first thought to look for his parents, he started running to his house in the village to find his parents, but at that moment the light in the sky became even stronger and suddenly a burst of light was heard scattering across the sky and hitting all the people around village.

As he ran he saw behind him that people were starting to fall to the ground as if dying, in the moment same happened to him, he knelt down and thought to himself that he could not do it because he needed to see his parents.

'Fuck, no-- i cant fall asleep' mumled Arthur while colapsing.

And so in vain his resistance he could not do anything about it and so he remained unconscious for a while, some time passed and then he began to regain consciousness, he felt lying on the ground, various screams of people were heard and so on he lay there until he felt he could get up.

After some time he get up, and when he opened his eyes, what he saw around him it was the last day of peaceful time and happy life.

'What the fuck is happening...'

He was confused, he didn't know what was happening in front of his eyes, he couldn't believe what was happening, all he could see in front of him was a huge ugly monster's eating and killing people like nothing, blood was everywhere, at that moment he felt fear like never before and his legs began to shake.

'Fuck, fuck, fuck, i need to move, i dont know what is happening...'

At that moment, all he thought about was that he should run and run away from that place, but he couldn't because he was overwhelmed with fear and his legs wouldn't listen to him.

'Fuck, god please help me...' shouted Arhur in fear.

At that moment he prayed to a god to help him and move his legs, so in the end he pushed himself somehow and started running in vain in fear, his thoughts were so confused that he didn't even know where he was running and where he was going, all he saw around him were disgusting big monsters that kill and eat people.

'Why is this happening, what is this...'

All he could do at that moment was think about what was happening and run away...

2 year's later...

'Next.'

'What's your name, age, and where do you came from?' asked huge man in armor.

As he looked at the huge man, his thoughts were overwhelmed by the past and what all happened 2 years ago, he couldn't help but to remember. 2 years has passed from that incident and he barely survive with some luck of other people who helped him to escape from that place, he didnt find his parents nor he know are they even alive anymore... After spending some time in other kingdoms he collect some information than he headed to Longford Castle, it was a castle in the Far East where royals and rich people lived.

'Arthur Rowntree, Age 25, Eflil country.' Arthur answered with soft voice.

'Good, go in' shouted huge man.

At that moment he was thinking about the past, 2 years ago everything happened, there is no more peaceful world and love between people as it used to be, the world was flooded with monsters that people called Magic Beasts, also to establish balance and a miracle happened so people have been given the power, the power to defeat the Magic Beasts and to survive in this world.

The Power of the Elements is the power that people have been given and with which they can defeat Monsters and survive in this world, evey man and woman in this world can have this power, thas has been sayed by high royals, and we can awaken our power placing our hands on strange black orb.

Are you here for test?' Asked old woman in black robe.

'Yes.' Arthur answered.

'Good, come here and place your hand on orb.'

After hearing woman Arthur placed his hand on strange black orb that can detect his Element of power, he was excited to find out which element he would get that can help him become stronger and find his parents.

'Close your eyes, and clear your mind.' mumled old woman.

After that Arthur obeyed the old woman and did as she said, after a while he felt as if he was in some white dimension where he stands alone and is orchestrated by white light everywhere, all what he could see was bright light around him.

'Where is this...' asked Arthur himself.

He looked around and nothing was happening he just stood there and the light shone around him, after couple of minutes some strange balls began to appear flying in the air, Arthur was confused, but he heard voice of woman talking to him at that moment.

'If you see some flying orbs, dont be scared, thease orb are Elements that are: Earth, Fire, Water, Lighting, Wind, Light, Ice, Void, Darkness, come close to them and one of that Element will be yours in future. mumbled old woman in Arthur's mind.

Hearing that, Arthur began to slowly approach the balls flying in the air and excitedly waited to see which Element would be his.

When Arthur approached balls, they started circling around him where he got a little scared but that's nothing for what it was two years ago, after a while the balls stopped moving and Arthur started to regain consciousness and return to the real world, when he opened his eyes he saw an old woman standing opposite him and looking at him in astonishment.

'Is there a problem?' asked Arthur old woman.

'I'm sorry to say this but it looks like you didn't get any Elements of Power and you won't be able to use the Elements in the future, it happens sometimes not everyone can get them but that's rarely case. mumled old-woman to Arthur with sad face.

After hearing that Arthur's face began to change, he fell into despair and sadness.

'It can't be, why...' Arthur sayed with sad face to old woman.

'Im sorry young boy.' sayed old woman with sadness on her face.

Again, after the last incident, a long time passed, people began to accept the Powers of the Elements, and began to develop their powers to a higher level and exterminate monsters, also the world became a cruel place worse than hell for those who did not have the Power of Elements, people who had no power and Arthur was one of them used for various jobs, for digging mines and mining gold, were not accepted by mankind, were weak that everyone could trample them and do whatever they wanted with them, they were used as slaves for rich and powerful people in various kingdoms and parts of the country.

As time went on, Arthur could do nothing, he was a slave to people who had power, he was an ordinary dog ​​for them and nothing more, he could do nothing even to find his parents or the same, as time went on he was falling more and more into despair, he was cursing the day he was born, he wanted to die, he was cursing god, he was cursing the people who rejected him and treating him like an ordinary worst monster, time passed and he knew himself that he was old enough that his age was coming and that he could no longer live, he thought every day why he lived, what was his reason in this world, he wanted to die, but he didnt have strenght to kill himself, they didn't leave him alone, he worked day and night, even sometimes without food and water and anything, his body dried day by day until his bones began to show and his skin began to tighten against his bones, his hatred of people increased more than ever in his heart and soul, he hated the existence of people, he thought of only one thing, to destroy all mankind to burn to kill all people and show them a life full of pain and despair.

'Fucking humans, its time for me to die.' Arthur sayed that while he was in his dark room with no food and nothing.

At that moment he felt that his body was failing and that it was time to die and to end his long-term suffering that he had been waiting for, after a while he felt nothing but thought of one thing and that was that he would curse humanity and people all who live in world and him and that he will swear that one day he will destroy them all.

As he lay in a small hut of a house with no roof, staring into the night, the black, dark night that filled his eyes indefinitely, he wished he was the darkness that would swallow all the people in this world and show them suffering and despair.

After some time of lying down and looking with open eyes at the black night dark sky, Arthur finally died and with that carrying in his heart and soul an impossible and unimaginable hatred towards people and humanity.

'What a beautiful view.' mumled Arthur while he stayed in some black place.

'Is this place where i go after death?' Arthur asked himself with laugh.

As he wondered where he was and how and what, there was a black darkness around him, blacker than the night itself in which he could see nothing in which he felt as if he were going to be swallowed, he than decided to not thing much and just lie down and fall asleep there.

As he lay and thought of nothing, he suddenly heard some strange sound of smoke billowing around him, at that moment he got up and looked around but of course he could see nothing because of the darkness that was so strong. After a while Arthur heard some strange voice, but he didnt hear what he/she was saying.

'Who the fuck are you, and what you want?' arthur shouted with loud voice.

He felt as if he were talking to himself because there was no one in front of him nor could he see.

'POOR HUMAN, WHAT DO YOU WANT, WHAT IS YOU DESIRE, WHAT DO YOU WANT!' shouted strange deep voice in dark.

Hearing that, Arthur thought aboout his parents after a years, probably they are dead that was Arthur's thought because he was himself old so there is no way his parents are alive, so in the end he dicide to tell that strange voice what he want the most because he dont have to lose anything, he was rejected by everyone and has only one wish and that is to destroy humanity.

'I don't know who you are, what you are, I just want only one thing and that is the power to kill every human in the world, to crush their hope, love, their pathetic lives, to wipe all humanity.' shouted loud Arthur to strange voice in dark.

'GOOD, GOOD, I CAN SEE IN YOU THAT YOU WANT THAT, I SHALL GIVE YOU THE POWER OF DARKNESS TO FULFULL THAT HUMAN, DESTROY EVERYTHING THAT YOU WANT'. shouted voice in dark.

Hearing that, Arthur suddenly felt the excitement in himself, a fire that burns and will not go out until every living being on earth is killed.

At that moment cold air was coming towards him, black darkness was coming towards him as if to swallow him, black air was entering every part of his body and lifting him into the air and suddenly, at that moment he saw the darkness itself entering into him and he started screaming from the pain he had, he felt like every bone in his body was breaking, his blood was being sucked out of his body and changing into a new one, every part of his body was changing and that he is no longer a human, despite the pain he felt happy, beautiful, wonderful, because he hated himself because he was human, now he is not one of them.

On that day, at that moment, a new darkness was born that will unite all the evil in the world and exterminate every living human being, and destroy humanity.
