"I've been harmed!" Ruby Doris felt uncomfortable and hot all over her body. In the darkness, she touched something cold and unbearable that weighed down on her.

"Do you want it this way? Then I'll grant your wish. Don't regret it!"

In a haze, Ruby Doris heard the voice of a man, and then she was forcefully kissed and spent the whole night in confusion.

The next day, Ruby Doris opened her eyes with difficulty and saw an Asian man's face sleeping beside her. His strong arm was still around her waist. She looked down at herself and him, and her mind buzzed with a sound, then a hoarse scream.

Yesterday, she went to his house to borrow money to treat her critically ill grandmother. His family was difficult to deal with, but they eventually agreed, with the condition that she attends a party as his sister since they looked very much alike. For her grandmother's sake, she agreed without hesitation. As a result, she was brought into a room and her whole body began to feel hot.

"It's too loud!" Dai Saint was awakened by the noise and squinted his eyes. His black eyes showed a dangerous look.

"You and me?" Ruby Doris's face turned red, unable to form a complete sentence. "How could you do this to me?"

"Either you accept it, or I'll take it," Dai Saint replied coldly.

Finally, Ruby Doris understood that she had been harmed by his family. She was very angry and uncomfortable, but she couldn't shed tears. Today, her grandmother was going to have surgery and she had no money. The operation couldn't proceed without the money, so she had to go to the hospital right away.

She didn't have much time to be sad here. She got up from the bed, her whole body aching as she took a deep breath, biting her lip to endure the pain. She stumbled down from the bed, picked up her light yellow dress, and walked straight out.

"Stop." Dai Saint shouted, his eyes cold and unforgiving. "Your parents sold you to me, where do you think you're going?"

"Sold to you?" Ruby Doris was stunned. Not only did his family plan to harm her, but they also sold her off.

Seeing her incredulous expression, Dai Saint replied icily, "If you're not afraid of bankrupting your father's company, then go ahead and leave."

The arrogance in his tone made Ruby Doris tremble inside. His company was his grandfather's lifelong ambition, something his grandmother cherished dearly!

She couldn't bear to watch Vina.G Corporation being destroyed because of her. Her grandmother would be heartbroken.

But being sold like this, how could she possibly become his woman? Is a woman being kept by someone else? She absolutely refused!

She wanted to explain things clearly, but when she thought of the cost of her grandmother's surgery, there were two conflicting emotions within her. In the end, for her grandmother's sake, she could only accept reality.

"My grandmother is having surgery, I need to go to the hospital." She tightly clenched her fingers and suppressed the feeling of humiliation in her heart. Looking at Dai Saint, her eyes filled with pleading. "Can I go?"

Dai Saint saw the hope in her big bright eyes, like stars shining in the night sky. For some reason, he couldn't refuse and said, "Come back before 7 p.m."

"Thank you," Ruby Doris said, grateful for the opportunity, and immediately left.

She wanted to leave like this... Dai Saint suddenly felt annoyed, but he still called the housekeeper and told him to give Ruby Doris a car and let Vina.G's shipment go.

First Hospital

Ruby Doris got out of the car and went straight to the operating room, where the doctor in charge of her grandmother's surgery was.

"Doctor, how is my grandmother?" Her eyes were full of anxiety. "Are you a family member of the patient? The patient has just undergone surgery and is still unconscious, but the surgery was very successful, so don't worry too much." The doctor replied politely.

Hearing that her grandmother was okay, Ruby Doris felt relieved and kept saying, "Thank you, doctor, thank you so much!"

The doctor smiled, "The patient is in the special care unit. You can go visit her."

Ruby Doris nodded and hurriedly went to visit her grandmother. Her grandmother, Lâm Nam, was still sleeping on the hospital bed with a syringe in her hand. Ruby Doris approached and sat down beside her bed.

Despite being asleep, her grandmother had aged significantly. The wrinkles around her eyes and the white hair on her head reminded Ruby Doris of this fact. She gently touched her grandmother's bony hand, feeling the delicate and fragile pulse.

The room was very clean with the scent of antiseptic. Ruby Doris sat down and picked up a new bottle of water next to the bed. Even the water was cold with no warmth, making Ruby Doris feel a sharp sting in her nose, and tears began to flow.

She wiped her tears and took the bottle outside to open it. As she turned around, she saw her cousin's family, and became extremely angry, "Why are you all here? Shouldn't you be staying at the Royal Hotel?"

Bà Martha was surprised to see Ruby Doris there and exclaimed, "Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be at the Royal Hotel?"

"Thanks to you, I'm not dead yet." Ruby Doris laughed coldly, with a sarcastic tone.

Bà Martha's face turned red and then white, while Layla Doris asked with a smile, "Big sister, did you have a good time last night?"

Ruby Doris glared at her. If Layla Doris had not asked her to replace her at the party, she would not have had to go through what she did last night. And now, Layla Doris was standing there laughing and asking her if she had fun.

Ruby Doris couldn't control her words and spoke without thinking.

"You're not saying anything, so I guess you're really happy, right?" Layla Doris looked over at her, who was lying on the hospital bed. "Don't blame me, blame her. If she wasn't so sick, you wouldn't have received such a gift."

Gifted to the mouth... the man had said that, and Layla Doris had said the same. Ruby Doris bit her lip and didn't say anything, looking at Layla Doris.

"Don't worry, when I get married into a wealthy family, I won't forget your help, even if you're not pure anymore, haha. But I think there will still be a man who wants you," Layla Doris laughed loudly, not caring about other people's dignity.

Her smile seemed sweet and generous, with a "sister" here and a "sister" there, one could mistake them for being very close.

Ruby Doris replied angrily, "Layla Doris, shouldn't you experience what the man did to you last night?"

Layla Doris's smile suddenly stopped on her face, "What are you talking about?"

"I think you should," Ruby Doris smiled lightly, "If I told him that I wasn't Layla Doris, do you think he would treat you the same way in his anger?"

Mr. Jacob Doris's face didn't change, "What are you saying? Say it again!"

"I came here today, and he knows it. His car is parked outside," Ruby Doris didn't care about Mr. Jacob Doris's face and continued, "Has he delivered your goods today?"

"What are you trying to say?" Mr. Jacob Doris lowered his voice, trying to intimidate her.

"You don't want to take care of your grandmother, and I don't want to make things difficult for you. Find a caregiver to take good care of her. I'll keep this matter confidential for you. But if you don't do it, then I'll have to go talk to the man from last night!" Ruby Doris spoke gently, her eyes cold.

"This crazy woman, ignorant fool!" Mrs. Martha was so angry that her face turned pale, and she gritted her teeth, ready to charge and hit her.

Ruby Doris swiftly dodged, while Mr. Jacob Doris held onto Mrs. Martha's arm and reluctantly replied, "I agree with her."

"Well then, why aren't you hurrying up? I need to meet with that legal assistant before 7 pm tonight. If I can't meet with them, I'll have to come back and clear things up. Then we'll see how you can handle it!" Ruby Doris's gaze became even colder.

Mr. Jacob Doris looked at her petite and delicate figure, his anger boiling as he clenched his teeth. Mrs. Martha and Layla Doris looked at his face and didn't dare say a word.

"Why don't you hurry up and find the best legal assistant to come here?" Mr. Jacob Doris thought about how much money he would have to spend and, in a frenzy, pointed at Layla Doris, "If it wasn't for this wayward daughter of mine, we wouldn't have to spend so much money!"

Mrs. Martha and Layla Doris looked at him as if they wanted to eat him alive, not daring to say a word, and immediately went to find a legal assistant.

Ruby Doris looked at the scene and felt like she had been wronged. She picked up a bottle of water and returned to her hospital room.
