The morning wind on the beach was blowing quite hard, but Maya wasn't bothered at all even though her hair would be messy. She sat quietly, leaning her head on Marve's shoulder and looking out at the ocean while waiting for the sun to rise.
"Many people believe that a shooting star will grant their wish but I don't believe it at all," Maya said that finally spoke after she was silent for a while and Marve didn't want to disturb Maya's calm so he didn't say anything since earlier.
"I don't believe in such things either." Marve agreed.
"But now all of a sudden I want to make a wish."
Marve turned to hear Maya's words which sounded very sudden as Maya lifted her head and smiled at him.
"Make a wish?"
Maya nodded, "An unbreakable wish."
Marve couldn't hold back his laughter now because Maya's words sounded so innocent because as long as he had known Maya, he had never heard Maya say words that meant "miracle" like this.
