Covert Apology.
Vanessa woke up from an unsettling dream she had feeling very nervous and scared.
She had weirdly dreamt about her pregnancy and Sophia's reaction to it, as well as Alex's, even though the latter was really unnecessary.
In her dream, they had discovered she was pregnant and she had seen the disappointment in Sophia's eyes as well as the disapproval in Alex's eyes as he scowled at her.
Even though she really didn't want to care about his present and future opinion of her, she couldn't help but worry about what his reaction would be when he finds out she was living under his roof while pregnant with another man's child.
Vanessa picked up her phone and clicked on the calendar icon. She has learnt pregnancies were calculated using the menstrual cycle and she looked at the date of her last cycle. If what she learnt was right then she'd probably be five weeks gone at the moment. That was more than a month.
