"Stop! What are you doing?" Song Hye Jin exclaimed, her voice laced with fury as she witnessed the scene before her.
"What do you think, Doctor Song?" the man retorted, walking closer as he wiped his blood-drenched hands.
Song Hye Jin marched towards him and delivered a resounding slap across his face. "What are you, a criminal? You can't assault people like that!"
"Ouch," he smirked, his face contorted with pain. He swiftly pulled Song Hye Jin towards him, her back pressed against his chest as he tightly embraced her. "Doctor Song, such bad manners," he whispered near her ear as she struggled to break free. "You were lecturing me about non-violence, yet you just slapped me. Aren't you a hypocrite?"
Song Hye Jin fought against his hold. "Let me go!"
The man's smirk widened, his eyes void of emotion, his voice chillingly cold. "You had the chance to walk away, to leave. But you foolishly returned," he said, turning her body and trapping her against the wall. He leaned in closer, stopping inches from her face, his gaze dangerously intense. "Song Hye Jin, you've used up your last chance. I will not let you go."
