Hard Defense

On a wide plain, with the skies dark and overcast, an intense battle was unfolding. Two armies were locked in a deadly clash, with one side having an overwhelming number while the other had stronger fighters overall.

"Don't falter! Push them back! Don't let them approach the walls!"

"OOOOOH!"

Tamers, along with their tamed monsters, lined the walls with tired expressions. They had all been fighting for twelve hours nonstop!

Before them, there was a large army of demons. Most of their numbers were filled with 9th-stage demons, but there's no lack of god-levels among them as well. As a clincher, there are even five Divine Conqueror Level Demons scattered in five directions, trailing at the back of their armies.

"CHARGE! THE GODS ARE WITH US!"

With a hearty command, the tamers-cum-soldiers all rushed forward with a courageous howl. As soon as he finished giving orders, the man's face turned grim.

"Sh*t! Just how many are there?"
