Resumen

I am again writing a story of Fate. This time the heroine is, as you guessed, Tamamo no Mae. I just played Fate/Extra and as waifu I chose her. She was hard to raise but so OP in the later stage plus if you add her back story that takes your heart away~. Anyway, I have no idea what powers I should give to MC. I don’t know if I should add Minamoto Raiko and her children in series with Raiko as harem member. Or I am even thinking about adding Arcueid but who knows. Suggestions are welcome.

Chapter 1Chapter 1: Epilogue- A Fox Tail

(???'S POV)

MIKOON~

I can't believe that I am given the privilege to start the story! WOW~ ♡

Ahem!!

Anyway, so I, a nameless fox in a sweet and adorable wife's clothing will tell you the story of a goddess who was the biggest idiot and stupidest in this universe.

Yes! A stupid goddess so shallow and small-witted who became the main reason for the downfall of the Heian Era of Japan.

It's an ancient tale of her birth that had endured years to become a part of folklore.

Let's start with the origin of the goddess.

She was the embodiment of one facet of the personality of the Sun Goddess of Shinto, Amaterasu.

Amaterasu was not very fond of humans and was said to be an enemy of humanity but after she disappeared from the human world, she left her belief and a spirit which was later worshipped as the personification of Amaterasu becoming a deity.

It was the birth of the Nine-Tails fox goddess.

Then…. Hmmm… I don't remember when exactly that bean sprout was born but her consciousness to acknowledge humans started in Heian Era in a distant land from the very world called Japan.

So as a deity born or rather created from the personification of Amaterasu, what do you think she felt for the humankind who worshipped her?

She also looked down on them, duh!

I mean, like seriously, looking at humanity from a divine perspective, she finds that they are beyond inconsequential. Such weak and insignificant creatures whose existence was still a question for the goddess. Just look at Hitler. No, the other people who regards him as the evil of humanity when Mao Zedong and Christopher Columbus killed more than him yet the later figures appeared like heroes in history books.

From a human perspective, just look at ants and cockroaches in your filthy home and you will understand. Does that mean I am describing humanity as an infestation… hmm, who knows~?

So here is the very ordinary story. A goddess who should have only acted like a goddess that she was without meddling with human affairs much, right?

But then the goddess made her first mistake, she started developing an 'interest' in humanity.

A soldier smiles when he returns only to see his family. Even if die on the battlefield, a smile was carried on his face.

Those who worshipped her were never really lost hope in her, merely smiling even upon numerous failures.

Slowly the 'interest' of the fox goddess turned into something more for humanity. A 'curiosity' as to what exactly is like to serve someone.

Even though she looked down on humans, part of her wanted to know more about the human condition.

I mean, my, I MEAN HER! Moe! Why is it so hard to tell the story in the 3rd person?!!! Me and my handful of brain cells.

Sattee, Sattee~

Anyway, her fixation sprung from, I guess you could guess from a weird sense of justice.

At first, she thought to use her power to punish those who commit evil acts.

However, she continued to watch as her curiosity turned more intense.

From the divine perspective, human existence is pretty depressing. You could hardly find any true meaning to their actions that are contributing to the livelihood of nature but yet, they seem so happy most of the time.

Even if their circumstances are dire and they are weak creatures, they are usually smiling.

And let's not forget about those who never saw the goddess yet not only worshipped the goddess but do so with their bodies and souls. In particular, she admired their capacity to love even in the face of evil.

It was then the 'curiosity' turned into 'fascination'.

Remember kids, the relationship between humanity and divinity will always be one of inequality.

A god should be god and never be human and the same goes for humans too.

That, however, was beyond the understanding of that foolish goddess who was observing humanity.

And at last, the fascination was but a form of envy for the goddess who then decided to face similar emotion and to become human.

A foolish mistake but it was still a griever one.

Thus, she rid herself of both divinity and memories as a goddess reincarnating as a human girl.

It was the start of her brighter days. Like the sun shining at her fortune, luck was never a matter as she soon found her 'love' to whom she could serve with her heart content.

And yes, just like 90% of sad stories of this Type-Moon word, her end was the same. Dying at the hands of ones who showed 'love' for her.

Now then you all will perhaps say, she did nothing wrong, right?

WRONG!

There was one grief mistake she committed. The goddess of the sun never really looked at how beautiful a moon can be.

Just like that one child, who always remained quiet in class, never really caused trouble for the teacher or anyone yet his existence was forgotten for simply not causing anyone trouble.

Yes, an existence so dims that was forgotten in time. A story of a boy who made that world for the goddess in human disguise brighter than she thought.

The boy was like a moon in the night. So calm and dim that we never showed appreciation since the sun of a new day is what derives your source of energy.

Same for the goddess who didn't notice the beauty and calmness of the moon. Whether as human or deity, the sun goddess didn't see a purpose in the existence of the moon except for supplying dim light at night.

The calmness and quietness that fills the other needs for a human that even the sun could never fulfill.

It was a boy whose existence was also like the moon, just dims occasionally only to be forgotten by the bright light of the next day.

He was the only person who actually 'loved' not goddess, not the fox, and not human the goddess had become but he loved the person.

On the field of Nasu, in the face of rain of arrows, not until she realized that it was indeed her mistake not to notice that one person who cares for her. Not until she shed tears for the blood-soaking body of the boy in her arms under the moonlight of full moon.

The biggest mistake of the sun goddess's life was that she didn't notice how much she was meant for the boy, the one who loved her from the shadows.

It was perhaps not the mistake but what you should call a sin.

The end of the tale of misfortune goddess…. Or is it?

Fufufu~, anyway it is a story of another time.

Will they achieve their happiness? Will that extremely handsome man forgive his ever-loving fox wife? Or petroleum prices will rise even more?

Find out in the next episode of dragon ball evolution!

-To be continued! (Jojo theme inserts)

Pokemon Alternate Universe Adventures

A man from an Earth gets the choice to start over in any Universe and chooses an Alternate Pokemon Universe. Let us see if his journey to the top is succesful and the impact he will have on his new world. Pokemon is owned by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. I just use their sandbox for the plot of my MC and my OCs. This will be a "slow" paced story, in fact it's "super slow paced", so please don't expect the MC to directly start his journey in 20 chapters or so, actually multiply that by like 15. A lot is going to happen before that happens. The first 10-20 chapters or so are information heavy, depending on what kind of reader you are. I try to keep my chapter length between 2000 and 3000 words per chapter. My release rate is 4 chapter/week for now. I have a patre*n for those that want to support me with access to some advance chapters as a thank you. patre*n.com/Azrail93 This is an alternate pokemon universe so there will be differences to the games, manga and anime. So if something in the story is different it is most likely on purpose. The original sources are seen as suggestions not laws. Differences can be: Type variants, evolution conditions, strength mechanics, world building and more. If I am at some point asking for reader input I will do so but otherwise I will ignore most suggestions. So please don't spam things like catch this pokemon or do that next. I have my plot planned and external input will be considered when asked for. If I see a suggestion that I believe fit my plot flow I will use it and will credit the commentor. Comments on spelling and grammar mistakes are welcome. I will try to correct said mistakes with time. Constructive criticism will be read and considered. Insult and hate comments will be ignored or deleted depending on severity. Readers naturally can comment their dislike but one worders will be ignored. If the reason for the dislike is explained I will read it. Like previously mentioned pure insults and hate comments will be ignored or deleted. The same is true for simple hate reviews or insulting ones. Reviews complaining about something I warned about, such as the slow pace, will be deleted as well.
