Chapter 1

This is Alphia planet.

Every continent is named after its respective directions: North, East, West and South.

Everything was peaceful until...

Those things arrived and they are so-called cages. These cages simply lock people in and make them mad to that extinct as if anyone were to enter the cage, They are probably dead.

Only one place was safe on this entire planet, which was in the centre of the East continent. A cage appeared where monsters can't appear or enter. We all humans killed each other to live under that small cage where 95% of the whole population was already dead. Only me, my family and some people around the world.

Because the monsters that had appeared to have magic that cannot be destroyed by humans was there, but coincidentally, monsters couldn't maintain all the magic and therefore, the remaining magic was transferred to Alphia, which unusually stopped time and space. Well, that meant physics is not meant to speak in any topic from now on.

Alphia couldn't manage the magic, so it transferred the magic to the animals on Alphia that was already there, the only place it couldn't transfer was the hope cage, where the humans and other species live now.

There's a river that allows us to go to the black zone, where the monsters reside. Though no one tries it except a few.

I was born outside the hope cage, and when cages appeared I was 19 at the time. Since then I have been living my 19 life for my whole life, basically, I'm immortal, and also I have magic.

Also, there's a saying that those who were trapped in cages were still alive for more than 1000 years.

Sorry to say that, but I have been living for more than 1000 years. And as a 19-year-old adult, I understand the situation, unlike few children who were 10 when the cages appeared. Poor them!

Children under 9 couldn't survive this chaos when they appeared as it is, they are dead.

But there's one advantage we have over to the black zone's, we can kill the monsters and people who are desperate to kill us because of the sentiment outside the cage, and they are mortal. They can't kill themselves. What a shame.

Some trapped people stayed sane while the others went insane.

But there's a problem, outside the hope cage, everything's pitch black, the only torch helps, but who knows that would last or not.

My mother died while protecting me survive this chaos. That's why I decided to become a fighter. A fighter is a person who fights the monsters and destroys the cage. I was an apprentice to the strongest fighter of all named Arjan. I don't know his surname, but he was the man who defeated 1000's monsters without getting a scratch. Well for your information, 1000 monsters are only 0.025% of the monsters. Not surprised I guess.
