Chapter 21: Orc's Speaking

The mages in the back summoned their elements and attacked the orcs harshly but sparingly "Be wary of the thing in a cloak, even though these humans are strong our biggest concern should be this walking corpse" An Orc with three scars going across his right eye said to the others. They brutally continue their attacks trying to keep their guard up from Dyllis whenever she would go in for a punch or kick they would back off in fright.

"That damned corpse might have fractured my jaw" He spoke painfully but tried his best not to show his pain towards the humans, not wanting them to get big heads. The other orc that was kicked by her earlier nodded "It does pact quite a punch, also who do you think is controlling this thing?" The orc asked the others, the others kept there fighting with the humans with a usual cling and clank from when the weapons would meet each other.

They were having a hard time as they kept blocking or pairing back the attacks. "Damned these Orcs are strong" The tank of the party stated as they continue to bash their shield into one of the orcs who were trying to be sneaky, One of the orcs got strikes from lightning causing that one beast to freeze for a minute.

Dyllis kept attacking the closest orc to her not breaking the formation, the priest dressed guy was reading out from a book with a golden cross on the cover, chanting quietly. Dyllis remember some of the talks earlier "We are all gonna attack them while Brandon here will prepare punishment of an angel. It takes him a while to set up the spell so we will be giving him time" The girl explained, after that, she zoned right out then broke her nose by walking into a tree.

Coming back to the present she did an uppercut to one of the necks of the orc cause it was too busy blabbing away "Can you guys shut up?" Dyllis growled even though it sounded like growls to the humans that were with her, to the orcs they almost stopped fighting. One of the orcs who only had one arm puke blood from hearing a ghoulish but feminine voice.

"Wait you can speak since when have low ranked corpse slave for humans can speak?" One of them asked with doubt, these orcs looked stupidly confused which didn't match their muscular body, their green face's had a look of doubt. Before she could even answer them back a beam of light descended from the heavens as white feathers flown in the air slowly descending.

The orcs didn't even have a chance to squeal out in horror before they were completely engulfed by a light beam of holy fire, a beautiful but deadly spell that uses a lot of magic to cast. Dyllis backed a few meters away from the huge beam as her body trembled in terror 'Good thing it wasn't me who was receiving that even though that won't kill me it would hurt like a son of a bitch' she thought to herself.

A few more minutes past and the beam of light finally left leaving only chard goblins missing a few limbs, Dyllis stomach growled while she looked at the limbs as she drooled uncontrollably. She thought about a few ways how she could cook them maybe even turn them into a stew for her and Tobca to eat. She soon snapped out of her daze "Hey Dyllis can you dig out there cores and take anything of value off of them for us" An Arrogant mage spoke from the group, Dyllis rolled her eyes in annoyance before making a thumb up gesture.

towards the group, as they laid on the ground to regain their wits and some stamina, the priest guy collapsed some time ago hair soaked as beads of sweat dribbled off his face. Dyllis walked on over and gauge out the cores with her gauntlets, the others looked at her in astonishment seeing how she wasn't using any weapon to dig out the cores.

She also grabs the metal spike clubs which didn't seem to have been affected by the magic beam from earlier, upon the closer look a light purple glow estimated from the weapons. I think they might be magic resient might explain why they are still in good shape.

She brought them to the adventures and put them down on the ground, she then put her gauntlets away, one of the mages gasp in wonder. Before Dyllis could even get out her book the mage asked "Do you have space magic? Also, why didn't you used it earlier?" He had a look of anger. Dyllis took off her hood showing the mask of many beauty's The rest became stunned on the spot, Dyllis purse her lips in annoyance as she grabs out her book.

"I can only use it as storage. Also, these Metal spiked clubs are enchanted" the book said plainly. Her blue hair was up in a tight bun giving her a more strict look even though her current face looked so pitiful. They all blinked at her stupidly before letting all the knowledge sink in, one of the mages took the metal spiked clubs and eyed it carefully. Making a light 'hmm' sound "You are correct" he commented letting the other know.

The priest dressed guy finally open his eyes "Are you an angel?" The group all looked at the priest dressed guy and laugh at him "We wish" they all said. The confused priest guy who thought he was dead looked around "Great you guys are here too? Am I being punished?" he asked himself, everyone's face turned dark. Except for Dyllis who was enjoying the tea that was going on.

"Since you wanna meet god so easily we will grant you your wish," They all said at the same time 'Ah I forgot humans can be scary at times, but this is seriously some good tea' she thought to herself as everyone in the group fought with the poor priest guy. She put her hands together and prayed to god themselves 'Please let my life in this world be fun like this'

Back at the Guild Tobca woke up by a loud knocking, opening her eyes she quickly fumble around for the switch for the room "I'll be there in a second" She said in a groggy voice, still half asleep as she put the hood over her head. She opens the door with a tap. A lean man with a smile from ear to ear filled her view "I have a job for you, If you and your partner can do what is ask on this paper then you will be rewarded" The man said, his animalistic ears twitching as he spoke.

He gave her an envelope with a seal before leaving the water fae confused, she looked through the letter and felt a bit excited since their employer wants them both since they have two targets to kill. Tobca called dibs on the older woman to kill.

A thought suddenly came to her mind "Where did Dyllis go?" she looked around only to find a torn out piece of paper with a message saying she would be back soon. Letting out a sigh she went out of the room without the key to go for brunch, her stomach protest to be fed.
