Chapter 5: Using Tokens Again

It's been 4 hrs since Adam's first zombie kill. During this time, he was able to spot 4 zombies who perfectly fit his choice of killing. First it must be loner ( an otaku or introvert one, the best type of zombie to ever exist ), second, must be weaker than average people when they were still alive ( grandpas or oldies for he had seen that it affect the zombies mobility, the perfect zombie to practice with ) and lastly, it must be several meters next to the zombies (50 meters or more will be preferable, the icing on the cake ).

After receiving his rewards for his kills, he only felt that he had become stronger, most probably 6 times the base strength of humans.

'But. are these zombies gangs or something? why are there so few loner, old and farther zombies around! They must be the ones who are so useless in the group that the zombie leader directly kicked them out of the team!', Adam wailed inside his heart as he scan the area for his preferred targets.

Just as Adam's heart was on despair, in the corner of his eyes, he noticed a sign indicating it was a convenience store.

' Chocolates! candies! junk foods! There must be something like it there. I need a plan. I must take these treasure in times of the apocalypse and have infinite number of them using [ infinite production ]!'.

Adam then contemplates what to do.

' if there are only two zombies inside it may be possible. Or can I use [ infinite production ] in phantom state?'

Ding!

" all skills cannot be activated when using [ phantom traveller ]. Please host be brave enough to clear the threats in achieving your goal." , the system suddenly butted in.

"System, how many tokens do I have? Please use them now!" Adam said remembering that killing 5 zombies had given him token. Though not all his kills result in drawing but tokens can still be gathered slowly.

Ding!

" The host currently have 2 tokens. Would you like to activate?" the system asked.

'yes!'

Ding!

" 2 tokens are activated.

Congratulations host for acquiring [ job ], please check for further info.

Congratulation host for acquiring skill [ life creation: insect model ( bug bomb )

creation limit: 5 ( +5 for every level up )

Please host to check rewards."

After the system's notification, Adam excitedly check his rewards.

[ job]: allow the host to choose a specific job. The host will be able to unlock a [job upgrade] of each class for every 10 levels.

' hmm.. mage! mage! what a perfect fit for me for someone who only needs to stand on the side and blast everything up. But summoner is also good. I just need to stay behind and let myself be safe while my minions are trampling these scary zombie uncles and aunties' , Adam fell on a conflict. Being a mage allows him to beat the zombies from a distance but summoner also serve his purpose.

' And the system said I'm a [ lord], isn't summoner the perfect fit for me? Hmm...'

Then Adam asked the system, " system, can I still choose other [job] after this?"

Ding!

" The host can still have other [ job ] as long as you draw it", the system confirm.

cool!

Then..

" system, set my job as [summoner]." , Adam said his choice.

Ding!

" Congratulation host for becoming a [ summoner ]. The [job] upgrades as the host's level upgrades."

Adam then check his [ status ] to see it's changes.

( summon 10 skeleton warrior to fight having the base attributes of 10.) +5 for each level up.

[Contract Summon] :

( summon powerful beings to fight for the host. The summon can only last for 1 hour in the world.(+10 minutes every level up)

Contracted Summon will always be 10 levels stronger than the host.)

After seeing his status, Adam realize that he is currently as strong as 10 times of an average human's base attributes. This made Adam smile.

In addition with [bug bomb], he can also summon skeleton warrior and a contracted summon to fight for him. Though contracted summon have time limit, as he levels up he will be able to make the summon appear longer. As for the skeleton warrior, it follows the base strength that he possess. It means that as his base stats become stronger, so does the skeleton. Too bad the skeletos don't have the blessing of the [ greater human ].

"Ok. Time to scout this store.", Adam said as he excitedly look towards the convenience store.

" [Dark summon: skeleton warrior]", as Adam said these words, there was a clear ripple on the ground like the surface if the water. After that hands made of bone emerge pulling its upper body towards the surface.

The skeletons are oddly very clean and white with a faint dark mist swirling from time to time. The skeletons are also carrying short swords made of bone but very sharp with them serving as their weapon.

After the skeletons pulled their selves out the ground, they kneel before Adam. Adam on the other hand smiled in satisfaction seeing the organized action of the skeleton.

'Very nice, well rehearsed skeleton uncles' , Adam said inwardly.

" Time to see what's inside. "

Adam them ordered 3 skeletons to go towards the convenience store while he returned to his phantom state.
