Resumen

My life? Many people see me as the most fortunate person existing. Maybe it was due to the power I wield, or what I had in my possession. But I found it hilarious; how I, myself, find my life worthless, every and anything I cared about getting burned in the flames of my ever-flowing energy. I don't mean it literally, more like… a metaphor, I guess. The world always opposed every and anything I stood for. I'm sure if you stood against me you would end up victorious. Anyway, off with my sorrows. To make everything interesting, I'll have to show you a clearer view of the world I live in.  Here it is; the story I so much wanted to share with you… all of you… *** In Archon, the union of a demon and angel was considered sacrilege to all its inhabitants—Apart from this glaring hatred for the union, any offspring from the union would die a miserable death. Stiles, a Nephalem, birthed from the union of a demon and angel had no choice but to face this challenge head-on, his parent's life becoming the payment for his survival. Stiles, filled with anger, tried to end his life but failed with every attempt.  Embarking on a journey to end his miserable life, he came in contact with a fortress that will change his life, turning him from a depressed boy into a Ruler—one that will reign over the land of Archon. ______________ Good day, ladies/gentlemen.  I've not done much writing, but I hope you would check my work out and give feedback. Chapter 1My life?

Here it is; the story I so much wanted to share with you… all of you…

***

Scribbling sounds could be heard through the dimly lit room. And guess what… It was me.

I continued with my task, not caring what I put down. Not like it mattered. It was just a method I discovered to distract myself.

From the way I handled the pencil, no one would imagine I was drawing. Heh heh. At least I should work on getting a better depiction of my family.

"Stiles!"

Hearing my name, I stopped my drawing, looking to the direction the voice came from.

"I'm over here Mom!" I said at the top of my voice, drawing her attention to the room I was currently inhabiting.

My mom has always been strict with security, so whenever she went on her mysterious journey, she always advised me to stay hidden—where even she could not locate me, that is, without my permission.

To better your understanding, our resident had a complex interior, one that my parents found hard to navigate. As for me, it was the best place—More like I was one with the building.

After my reply, I could see the door knob twist to the left, and a female walking in immediately after.

"Stiles." She called out again, observing my work as she moved closer.

Wouldn't lie, I was shy. After all, what I drew was so crude. Newborns would have nightmares just by viewing the papers littered through the room.

"What was your supposed reaction?" Her stern voice echoed through the room. Placing her hands on the desk before me, she brought her eye level to match mine.

"Use the array to determine you were truly you," I said in a low tone, distracting myself with the room's interior.

My mom is a beautiful woman. I would prefer to use 'very beautiful', but not to sound biased, beautiful would do.

Based on the data I have about the outside world, she should be around her early thirties.

"And did you do that?" she continued, connecting both questions.

"I…"

"Look at me, Stiles."

After those words, if I were to keep looking down, then I would have no choice but to always follow this path which I hate so much. It was now or never.

Raising my head, I looked into her silver eyes. Though it looked cold and distant, I could still feel the warmth she was masking.

Why did she have to pretend? She could just tell me straight to the face; that she cared.

"I felt it was not needed," I said. "Trust me, Mom. I can definitely tell you with your voice."

"It was to keep us safe… you safe." She said, her eyes taking a dark shade. "If…"

I couldn't listen to her words anymore. It was annoying.

"I know you feel this is right for me, but— it isn't." I rebutted. "Please…"

The Heavens seemed to be against the current topic as the structure vibrated.

"Your dad is back. Examine him, appropriately."

The emphasis on 'appropriately' was so clear and refusing was surely not an option for me.

Pushing my palm forward, a complex red diagram appeared on it.

"Stiles!"

The newcomer called out, following the same pattern as my mom's.

As if triggering a reaction, the diagram shone brightly, creating a hologram of the newcomer. Everything, from his biological characteristics to his physical. Not excluding some private things that made me look at my mom.

"Happy!" I snapped.

Not bothering to observe her reaction to my act, I said in a loud voice. "I'm over here!"

I didn't want to hear her thoughts, so I concentrated on my drawing, indirectly telling her to leave me be.

Creak

"Haa." The newcomer released an exhausted sigh as he entered the room. "Seems mother and son have beef with each other… maybe I should have stayed out a little longer."

I'm sure it was a slip-up on his side. The sweat trickling down his face was enough evidence to support my claim.

"I think we should have a meal, as a family!" He said with raised arms in an attempt to change the current mood, I guess.

"Liam!" Mom called out, forming a fist simultaneously.

"Y-yes!" He replied in a shaky voice.

My mom is my dad aka Liam's number one fear. I can say she's mine too, but I'm a kid, her kid. So it's normal. Is it?

"I'll be heading to bed," I said, rising from my seated position.

"Why?" My dad said with a pleading expression on his face. I could feel his fear. Getting on Mom's bad side is not a good thing.

"I'm tired and I don't feel like butting in on your matters." Moving to the door, I ignored every attempt he made on making me stay. "Good night. And I hope you can deliberate on my reasoning, Mom."

Immediately I walked through the door, I could hear the screams of my Dad. "Arrrgh!"

I guess he deserves it.

Every time I get a chance to make a wish, I always wish for our family to be happy, and for my parents to spend more time with me rather than leaving every time.

I was never told about the specifics of their journey or why we had to stay in this isolated region. Maybe they didn't trust me enough or deemed me unworthy of the specifics. No matter the point of view I used to analyze my situation, I always found it heartbreaking.

At that moment all I thought of was a happy ending, despite all the challenges. What a bitch the world is; allowing something like hope to exist.

Reincarnated To Evolve My Bee Empire

"Now, go forth, my mortal champion! Conquer this world—or else!" I lived a painfully average life and died by a stupid, stupid accident, but a goddess interfered, giving me a second chance in another world. There, I became royalty—the lazy kind with almost no obligations, free to live in peace and luxury for the rest of my days. Sounds like a dream, right? In reality, it was anything but—because I became *BEE* royalty. A Drone Bee, doomed to die of old age in 2 months! (A humanoid bee, thankfully, but still a bee in all the ways that matter.) The only way to increase my lifespan is to develop and grow my bee colony—a deadly task in a vicious world like this one. There are murderous insect monsters, colossal beasts trampling the earth, other civilizations, natural disasters, and the bitchy patron goddess who absolutely hates me. But as long as I have my brains, my bees, and the powerful genes my system gives me, my Bee Empire will be unstoppable! === For those who want to know more: This is a wholesome comedic story, but it has some dark moments. The focus is on kingdom building, survival as an empire, and interacting with MC’s beautiful bee wife and adorable bee daughters. The bees are all humanoid (see pictures) and human-sized. However, they are still bees in their ways of life and mentality. Although there’s a system, real growth comes from putting effort and time. Nothing happens in an instant in this story, unless it’s trouble. MC acts like an idiot sometimes (oftentimes), but he’s not actually stupid-stupid. When it comes to strategic decisions, he uses logic and reason. Even if you might disagree with it. Also, there will be no smut (ecchi is a fair game), incest, NTR, harem or BL. === Discord is up! Find it at -> https://linktr.ee/Garessta Updates: 2 chapters/day, right after the reset (with a 5% chance of running late). Reply to author's pinned review if you have questions. Also, although I realize the futility of this aim (at least right now), if this novel reaches top 15 golden ticket ranking (and stays there for a few days, obv), I will mass release 10 extra chapters! (within 30 calendar days)
