Chapter 1.

The church bell rang loudly as roses rained from the roof top. The sun had a beautiful smile on as it shone mildly through the coloured window which sparked brightly on the aisle where the awaited bride was to step on. All eyes on the pew peered at the large door which slide aside to behold the beauty who kept them this long. The priest on the pulpit would have drown with sleep if not for a little wine that spur his eyes opened or perhaps worsen the situation. The groom's nervous legs shook a bit as he was weary from standing that long and now he's bride was arriving.

The bride walked majestically as her charming smiles killed negativity from those who desired to condemn her, it definitely made everyone falling in love with her including the poor priest who had almost drank to stupor and kept pleading for mercy from God not to be consumed by his wrath for disobeying the laws in the bible mostly when it was on the pulpit! The choristers began a melodramatic hymn which felt enchanting as birds clustered around the large windows to sing along. The groom stretched his hand to hold his bride who was just an inches away when suddenly the bride heard someone call her name. Her legs were stucked as a loud uproar could he heard. Everywhere became dark as the rooftop was falling off, the priest collasped as he could run to safe he's life. Destruction lurked in and every part of the building was falling in, the bride tried to reach out to her groom but he was gone!

"Natalie!!!"

A bass voice eluded her head as she felt water splashing on her face. Her head burn from the sun which was scorching hot and had made tent on her voice. She jerked up and found herself outside the building of her home and surrounded with her luggages. Yet another sweet bitter dream and thanks to this tall lady in front of her who ruined it.

"Get a grip of yourself, girl!" The lady furthered as passerbys chuckled at her. Definitely she must be insane to fall asleep outside her own home, daydreaming could be something else. Tried from returning late from work with all the luggages she had shopped for the next day, the worn out Natalie dozed off in her corridors certainly because she misplaced her house key neither could she recall her password. She faked a smile and tried to get up but a luggage was on her leg. A loud hiss made way from her lips as her palm covered her forehead which chased away the sun from that spot. Two teenagers glanced at her, shook their heads and decided to assist her since she was still lost in an imaginary world.

"Thank you sweetie!"

That was here reply to them for breaking down her door for the 10th time since her stay over this apartment whose occupants lived in union except those that desired to mind their business. Immediately they left, she cussed at them for breaking down her door as another expenses would be cut off from her budget and it was always about repairs to the extend that people referred to her as "queen of destruction". Whenever she visits someone's home, then they definitely have to be ready to take the pains of repairing. Her tottering legs led her to the study room where she keeps tools for repairs, everyday was a stressful for her as she hardly had time for herself and one thing was that, she didn't give a damn about what people think of her, she was just natural.

"Let's see what we got here" she began opening her drawer which had been pleading to have a break because there was no day she didn't open it. Her hands did the searching and when she grab a hammer, nail, she was set for work on her door. Humming got her while she bored the knuckles of the door. Neighbors groaned at her loud noise but an apology was issued loud to them by her lips.

"Beautiful, just the way you were created!" She commented as soon as she was done with the door and then clapped for herself. Well, she had to taste her master piece and so decided to open the closed door, in a hast, she held the knob, twist it open and smiled proudly to herself that the door was intact but in a short while, the door crashed. Fortunately for her, it didn't fall on her but on the luggages which she was to deliver.

"Oh no!! Another expenses gone" She groaned kicking her feet in the air. Her ears suddenly twitch as a rattling sound was made, it was someone coming in and making use of the fallen door as a bridge to get inside.

"Seriously Natalie?"

"Seriously Alex?" She repeated making a mockery face behind his back as he made way for the bedroom.

Meet her overly demanding brother who always pays a visit anytime he was out of money and thanks to her kind heart or perhaps confused heart, she always helped out in any way possible but in return, she gets back what she had given in triple fold. Being the eldest, he had a lot of responsibilities which he needed to fulfill but never made effort in granting one rather Natalie happens to be the breadwinner over here while he takes the credit.

"Thank goodness I didn't bring my girlfriend over" he spat gazing at the house which was neatly arranged except for the collapsed door. This man always says that and it freaks her out as that spoilt brat of a girlfriend always thinks everyone was under her, why doesn't he just go and leave with her? The reason definitely was because he parent wouldn't accept someone like him, when he was a gambler. She wished to reply him but only spoke in her heart cussing and fussing that he would leave as soon as possible because something was cooking up tonight at her place.

"Why are you here?" She snapped folding her hands as he dashed out of the bedroom to have his seat in the sitting room.

"Wow, what kind of a sister are you that you wouldn't miss your brother let alone your family?" He mocked as he pulled out a bundle of money which made her scoff. Now she gets while he was in a hast to the bed room just get her saving out. There was never going to be a bit change in him, always making life miserable for her.

"Drop that back Alex!" She ordered making him to chuckle.
