Universal Omens

Magnificent. I observed the sea of stars that covered this infant galaxy, exuding a constant warmth to my grace like a heater.

I was relaxing on the moon while sipping refreshing Iced tea, everything in space looked so small yet had a purpose that would echo throughout eternity.

I could still see the traces of Neil Armstrong's footprints from when he started his journey on the moon, it was regretful that humans barely explored this small domain even with all my assistance.

"Dad! Look! I turned around as Jesse hopped towards me, holding lunar moon rocks for me to inspect. I was surprised he could find the rocks I had hidden from the Apollo program.

"Well, I haven't seen these rocks in a long time, they may look like rocks but they can draw power from various constellations. If you look closely, you can even see that some of them have zodiac signs on them." I picked up four rocks with Aquarius, Capricorn, Aries, and Taurus symbols.

I picked up the Aries rock and focused my power, the rock glowed orange before an Astral projection of the zodiac appeared.

Aries took the form of a muscular man in Spartan garbs and sandals, the most noticeable feature about Aries was how they were constantly shifting between their male and female forms and the golden ram horns on their head.

"WHO DARES TO SUMMON ME? THE GREAT ARIES---oh, hello Isaiel, it's been some time hasn't it." Aries lowered their sword and knelt in front of me.

"Yes, the last time we met was the zodiac tournament in the Celestial realm, is Leo still demanding for a rematch? The last time I beat the lion, she kept challenging me for two weeks until she finally admitted defeat.

"Don't you know it, that annoying lion has been pestering the Celestial king to summon you again even when we all know she'll lose. Anyways, who's the human kid? Aries focused their attention on Jesse, who was busy hiding behind me.

"Oh Jesse, he is my son and your new contractor, it's been 200 years since a human contracted one of you correct? Aries nodded and smiled as Jesse looked at the Zodiac with curiosity.

"This boy is a contractor? He is too weak to handle my power, he should try his luck with the lesser-grade constellations Isaiel."

Jesse's face flushed with anger before challenging the zodiac to a fight, his powers shrouding his body as Aires looked intrigued.

"Oh, are you challenging me, boy? it seems you have some fire in your eyes, but you're too weak to handle a being of my caliber. Even if I were to make you fight my weakest pet, you would die.

Your father on the other hand, our last score was 999-0 from the last fight, right? I could see the eagerness in Aries's eyes, I promised that he would have his fight before he faded away.

I surveyed the sea of stars in this endless space, humans thought that stars were big, immortal, things that they attempted to map out and study. But out here, they were just small dying balls of gas, slowly returning this universe to the empty nothingness it was before creation. My eyes drifted to the dark grey planet of Mercury, I felt a pang of sadness as I remembered my dead brother.

"I haven't been to Kafziel's grave since he was buried, it wouldn't hurt to talk to my brother one last time." I disappeared and reappeared on Mercury, the grave site was still the same after so many eons.

"Hey Kafziel, it's been so long since the rebellion, our little group of twelve has grown exponentially. Michael is still the one with the angry mad face, Raphael is now working in a hospital as a doctor, and Gabe, he has taken the role of a trickster god. You have missed so much." I began to tell my brother about the 21st century, the apocalypse, the Seraphim, and humanity's greatest achievements.

It was comforting in a way, the only person that I've discussed topics like this was Father, it gave me a sense of melancholy for the past. But I knew that those days would never come back, but it was nice to sit and talk to someone in a comfortable setting.

While I was telling Kafziel about anime, the universe began to twist and tear apart itself as a wormhole appeared.

A spaceship the size of a meteor, flew into Earth's atmosphere and crashed somewhere in the rural area of north America.

I was perplexed about how the spaceship managed to reach this far, it didn't bore any insignias of the many extraterrestrial lifeforms in this universe nor others.

I quickly flew to the area where the ship crashed, and scanned the crater for any sign of life. If I was lucky, this would be nothing more than a superman situation.

I jumped into the crater, and opened the damaged ship to reveal an unconscious man who looked like Vincent, wearing a military uniform with the men of Letters insignia.

I didn't have much time to dwell on the strange man's appearance as heaven and the U.S government were fast approaching, and I didn't want to give conspiracy theorists another story for them to chase down.

I grabbed the man's arms, and blew up any trace of the spaceship before teleporting to my home, I put the unconscious man on the sofa before reading the old journal that I had found next to the man.

"I, the last follower of the sacred creed that has existed since the creation of humanity, do hereby set in motion the principles of this journal, the collective will of the last representatives of free will." Read the preamble of the journal, before explaining the contents of the journal and the grievances about a group of people called the Delta Command of the Chaos Insurgency.

"The 13 leaders of the Chaos Insurgency have infected the fabric of the universe with their wicked actions, dooming humanity to live out the rest of their lives with the consequences."

"These are all the grievances that myself and humanity hold against them:

•The Dictator- "Has blasphemed against God and the natural order in his foul contract to control the laws of Death, thus giving the rest of the members of Delta Command except for the Avenger and the Abomination, immortality."

•The Deceiver- "Has deceived the innocent of this world to serve the interests of the Insurgency, and has spun a web of spies to further his empire of deception."

•The Anarchist-"Has vacated his citizenship and allegiance to the American citizens, seeking to destroy the core principles of his former home for his Anarchist ways."

•The Chronicle&The Oracle - "Has altered the flow of time and history, time and time again to secure the legacy of her foul organization."

•The scientist- "Has performed countless inhumane and unethical experiments on his fellow man, all for his perversion that he calls science."

•The Siren-"Has lulled the people of the world with her seductive voice, giving them a false sense of reality as they are fed the twisted lies of the Chaos Insurgency."

•The False Prophet-"Has incited mass religious violence in the name of his blasphemous God and faith, leading the people astray by committing sinful acts in the name of heaven."

•The Fool- "Has foolishly joined the Insurgency and has been an accomplice to their horrific deeds, like his Father, he has eaten the Cursed fruit and has Dammed the descendants of man for all of eternity."

•The Avenger- "Has spilled the blood of thousands, working as an attack dog for the Chaos Insurgency, a true example of mindless carnage in human skin. The first victim, killing every human as an act of vengeance for his spilled blood."

•The Monarch- "Has stolen the wealth and power of the world to suit his carnal pleasures, his greed has polluted governments to serve his whimsical needs."

The Traitor- "Has betrayed his fellow man, forsaking his oath to the destruction of the supernatural and the protection of humanity, and the one who birthed the idea of the Insurgency."

•The "Nobody"-Is complicit in the blasphemous work of the Delta Command, though much is known about They're relationship with the Insurgency, they are still responsible for the sins of the organization."

•The Abomination- "She has poisoned the universe with her continued existence, slowly plunging the three realms into total chaos, and leading a den of serpents in service of her master."

"To the reader of this document: as you read deeper into the pages of this journal, I hope that you too realize the truth that the Insurgency has tried to conceal, that they are a cancer, a sickness that must be purged for the world to heal." The Chaos Insurgency must die! -J

As I read more about these Delta Command members, the more my stomach churned with disgust. These people have truly sold their souls for power, none so more than the one named the Dictator.

"Father was right, I should have never let that variant live. Now, he has created a group that threatens the stability of everything." I was getting anoyed by having to deal with past problems.

"Uggh, my head." The unconscious man slowly opened his eyes, he looked around and blinked at me before standing up and casting a binding spell.

"Who are you? Where am I? And why do you look like me? The Vincent doppelganger questioned as he put an angel blade near my throat.

I rolled my eyes as I broke the binding spell and watched as the angel blade melted into goo, just before I immobilized him in a chair.

"Now, is that anyway to treat the one who saved you from certain imprisonment? But if you must know, my name is Isaiel, I'm the angel who found and brought you to my humble abode." When Vincent heard that I was an angel, his expression turned into anger as he tried to break free from his binding.

"So, you brought me here to be tortured is that it? I won't talk, even if you kill me the G.O.C will always stand in the way of your tyranny. Death to heaven and the Chaos Insurgency! Vincent gaze was stone cold, as if to prepare himself for my next move.

"There seems to be a misunderstanding, I not apart of your universe's heaven nor this Chaos Insurgency organization that you seem to harbor hatred for." I showed him this universe's events before removing his restraints, he observed my movements with a wary expression before calming down slightly.

"So, I'm in an entirely different universe is that it? That makes sense, my world doesn't have much clean air or color since heaven and hell started their fight." Vincent picked up one of the cookies and began chewing.

"I'm aware of the state of your world, and I'll like to apologize for allowing such a thing to fester without dealing with it beforehand. But, I would like to ask, what is this G.O.C and Chaos Insurgency? And how exactly were you able to cross through worlds? My tone becoming more serious, remembering the last time one of my variants got their hands on dimensional technology.

"Hmm, The Global occult coalition or the G.O.C for short, is the combination of the British Men of Letters and the various supernatural groups that opposed the Chaos Insurgency. Hunters, witches, soilders, and anyone who wishes to see the Insurgency destroyed." Vincent proudly showed me the insignia on his clothes.

"The Chaos Insurgency on the other hand, are just a bunch of cold-blooded killers who only want to send my world spiraling into Chaos, they help the angels with their mission to exterminate humans, they attack our bases and capture our operatives making it harder to fight back against them." Vincent slammed his fist into the table, making one the plates clatter.

"I was apart of a covert team that was designed to kill the members of Delta Command, that journal was the only thing that gave us an insight on the potential weaknesses of the council." Vincent grimace before speaking again, his voice somber.

"Our first target was the Dictator, there was a rumor about a real fountain of youth, a single drop was enough to make even the dead living again. But we should have known that it was a trap, the fountain was destroyed and Chaos Insurgency agents surrounded us."

"My team tried to fight them but we were outnumbered, and I only managed to escape by causing a distraction before heading into one of our safehouses and entering the spaceship." I got up from my chair and walked towards a nearby safe, I opened the safe and pulled a vial of water from the fountain of youth."

I snapped my fingers and opened a rift to the apocalypse world, and looked back at Vincent with a mischievous grin.

"What are you doing? Don't you want revenge on the Insurgency? This is a prime opportunity to strike first, with no mercy."

Vincent jumped up and we both walked through the rift, not knowing just how deep of a rabbit hole was this place.

A/N: Can you guess who some of the members of Delta Command are?

Sorry for the hiatus, everything has been a bit hectic but back to the grind. I really hope that you enjoy the story.

I took inspiration from SCP Ouroboros cycle: the way it ends.
