The end is only the beginning

Crack* Boom*

The sky shattered.

"ROAR!"

A dragon, as big as the Mount Tai, captured in breaking chains, slowly flew upwards after splitting the ground in two. Gigantic cyclones turned over the earth and heaven, just from swinging its wings. Their means; to destroy any kind of life in their way.

"Help!"

"No, I don't want to die, argh!"

"The protection array won't hold!"

People and animals flying in the sky or standing on the ground died, indiscriminate of their doing. Their blood; used to paint the brown dusted cyclones and landscapes into a bloody massacre.

Some were shredded by the winds. Others shattered after being hit by high-speed traveling objects. Be it rocks, trees, lose weapons or earthly treasures. Everything got sucked inside the tornados as they slowly expanded.

Most however, fell to the ground before the cyclone took them. Having died under an unscientific, invisible godlike pressure executed by the monstrous being, their remains showed no resistance.

All this was reflected in the eyes of a young woman, hooded in a windbreaker. Standing her ground in front of the incoming typhoon she did not run away. Not because she was insane, but because she knew there was no way out.

"Everything makes sense now. This whole time we thought we played the most revolutionary game, but in the end, it was like this all along." Hong Luo Si looked up into the broken sky. Stars filled her view.

Any normal person would think that the night was forcefully intruding the bright daylight. However, Luo Si was no normal person. Embarking on the path of cultivation she had attained powers science fiction heroes could only dream of. Such as watching what was happening on stars lightyears away with a simple glance.

She looked at the distant planets, falling like dominos. Her gaze settling on one in particular.

Tiny ants in human form were running in chaos with every path of escape blocked just like hers'. Buildings and landscapes crumbling in fire as magma spewed out from the planets' splitting surface and tsunamis the coastlines.

This phenomenon was happening on many planets. The inhabitants caged in helplessness. So why was her attention fixed on this one star in particular?

The reason, it was her home. Her origin. Earth. Falling into itself together with the solar system and galaxy.

The galactical genocide was a horrible sight to witness. Yet, the witness shed no tears, but strangely rejoiced inwardly.

The wind lessened a bit when it neared her position and only managed to uncover her face from underneath the hood. A face of a young Miss in her flourishing 20's was exposed. Yet, she was actually one of the oldest people on earth.

Known as the Crazed Windbreaker Empress, cultivating the Dao of Wind, gave Luo Si slight resistance towards the tyrannical wind turbines.

"Urgh." Blood was flowing out between the girl's lips after falling on her knees as she was slowly sucked in nonetheless.

In the eye of the storm, she spoke to herself, caring little about the inevitable. "Sorry Master, I couldn't fulfill your request… nor mine."

She had long lost sanity after the last person, she had held any last feelings towards, died in her arms.

Her body was already starting to fall apart under the strong currency. The Soul wasn't doing any better. The built up lifeforce fractured under the godly force executed by the draconic being.

Ultimately, even with her Empress title, she could no longer resist the destructive force, signaling all lives end and was slowly enveloped inside the destruction.

Umph*

A big rock caught the remains of her soul and body. Pressed by the instant speed, her blood seeped into the cracks formed by the collision.

Her life flashed before her eyes, as a last gift from the death god.

Endless struggle, betrayal and loss only followed by more suffering. Luo Si had endured it all. Attaining a supreme evolutionary level through the baptism of unexplainable mysterious energy, she had fought her way to the top. It was a long and strenuous path that had given little in return and was now coming to an end.

She had encountered death over and over again in this world that was treated as a game. Standing up after every collapse. 'But not this time.' This time she knew, she would not be reborn again. Like many others, she had crossed the line of no return, becoming different from her mortal kin.

With a level of power of supreme might, her thoughts did not just run back one line but multidirectional. Anger, rage, hatred. All negative emotions gathered at this one point in time, eating away the rest of her rationality. All bundling towards the same point. It was not the beginning of her life, but more the beginning of her drive that set everything in motion.

The cracks on the rock started to glow in green, feeling her rage and unwillingness to end things just like this.

"aah-ah-ah-ha ha Aha ha… AHAHAH, COME! COME AND ACCEPT ME FOR ALL I AM!" Luo Si's hollow eye sockets stared towards the source of her final death before her consciousness faded away, followed by a green flash.

'Bang'

"F***!"

Luo Si gritted through her teeth. Her head had banged against something hard. Pained she enveloped it out of reflex with one arm, while the other was sluggishly thrown in the same direction, to fend off any harm, only to encounter the same fate though. Pent up with immense stress her body weirdly balled itself together.

The pain was not much for her, but a tear rolled out beyond her grasp. A first for her in decades. She whipped it away, noticing that she had lost her control supremacy over body and powers. The feeling of moving a sluggish, heavy and weak body brought back memories of unpleasant times.

'What are you gonna do about it?'

'You are just a girl.'

'A loser like you does not deserve to live.'

Pent up with immense stress her body weirdly balled itself together. An unknown amount of time passed before the suffering went away.

"Enough." A word silently escaped her lips. It wasn't as loud as her previous curse, but held the needed authority to dispell the taunting voices.

Luo Si opened her heavy eyelids just as angry. With fuzzy eyes that felt like she had just woken up from a long dream, she tried to make sense of her surroundings. Everything was black or rather coated in black. Except for the rays of light falling on her head.

Little by little she groped herself towards the point of impact. Realizing that it was a dead object upon touch, she relaxed. Next was a reach towards the light only to be stopped by hard black matter that cut the light source in lines. Reluctantly she retracted her hand.

'Is this the afterlife?' She certainly knew her being of existance had shattered, unable to be taken away from Yama's claws.

With the ability to think, touch and see she used another sensory body part. A helpless sigh escaped her mouth. "Huh… is this hell? Is this my punishment, banished into eternal silence and loneliness?"

"Sister that's a fiver for the curse box." A child's voice pulled her out of her thoughts. She completely had her despair interrupted. That voice was so familiar yet so distant. It sounded very happy for some reason.

Out of control of anything in her mind, body and environment new tears started to form when she looked at the only other source of light coming from underneath a human-sized slate. It felt like a seal deep down in her mind started to open up.

'This voice, if it is Yama's punishment, it is great to hear.'

"By the way," The tone, belonging to that of a child soon to enter his preteens, continued. "I'm going to the grocery story. Need anything? And don't make me buy you your tampons. Last time I got laughed at by the cashier."

"Uhm… uh."

Even if it was a trick from the lord of hell, her mind and body craved for more words from the other side in union.

'Bang'

Luo Si tried to rush to the reverberating diverter. Not yet accustomed to the degraded changes she slipped.

"Fu…" This time she barely managed to gulp down the physical pain.

"I think they are all out of fucks, but I can still ask the cashier. Maybe he has some left. Anything el-!" The owner of the childish tongue barely turned around after tightening his shoes, when the door was rammed open and half naked girl pounced herself onto him.

"Su… Su' er you are here, here with me… *sniff" A 17-years-old girl was lying on top of the little boy.

"Argh… Luo Si get off me. You are in your underwear. Help! I'm sexually harassed by my crazy sister!" Hong Lau Su tried to free himself, but realized that his sister was unyielding and only hugged him tighter.

"Oh Su'er, even you know that I'm crazy maybe this is truly heaven." Ignoring the toddlers pleads his sister gripped onto her brother, not even wanting eternity to separate them.

"Luo Si go to that mountain or your boyfriend and hug him. Anyone, but not me," The grip around Lau Su's chest disappeared, which enlightened him. Though a nanosecond later a hand was gripping his skull and it felt like slim metal sticks slowly squeezing together.

He wanted to scream, but his eyes meet an abyssal horrifying face, making him numb all over.

"Don't you dare mention that bastard or I will destroy your mortal body into a trillion dust and burn your soul together with our blood bond." As if a different person was talking to the young boy the moment, he mentioned the second one.

Although, Hong Lau Su had no idea what his sister meant with her strange way of speaking, he could deduce what it meant from her behavior.

Hong Luo Si regained herself a second later. Realizing that she had her little brother in a death grip she loosened up on him.

A moment of silence past. The sudden change was a bit too much for both parties. Water gathered on Lau Su's eyelids, but Luo Si was faster. Grabbing a blue box, with 'curse box' written on the front, she smacked off the lid and pressed a handful of purple papers into her brothers' hand.

"Here, how about you buy yourself something? I know you like those chocolate eggs the most. So, buy lots of them." Luo Si was still pressing the purple banknotes against her brother, while his hands moved around the banknotes in a small pace as he was still half in daze.

When the small hands held onto the paper themselves, the tears vanished faster than they came. "Oh… Okay…," Lau Su's body retreated in small paces and even closed the front door, while looking in Luo Si's direction.

A breezing wind freshened up the middle schooler, while walking down the stairs. He only had one thought after reaching the end of the staircase, 'I should buy 2 packs of tampons. Who knows if I will survive her next level of period?'
