Chapter 1: Omni-Games

I opened my eyes to be greeted with nothing but a sight which shocked me.

I was currently in what seemed to be a ship. Just like the ones from Star Wars, and whenever I saw outside the ship, all I could see was a flash of what seemed to be stars.

'Am I traveling through Space right now?' I thought to myself, but quickly put that ridiculous thought behind me, there should be some other logical explanation.

I am also wearing some type of armor around my body. It was pitched black, and was applied onto my elbows, knees and a chest protective gear.

"As explained before, all of you are going to the KIA, Kramien International Academy, where you will be battling your individual trials. This is the 12th and final year of your course, all of you have trained for 11 great years in preparation for this moment. Make humanity proud." Said a loud, masculin voice.

I looked around to see all of my classmates and friends from school, solemnly nodding their heads.

I turned to my most trusted friend from school, Kevin, and asked," Dude what the fuck is going on, where are we?"

"Oh, you're finally awake. You blanked out at re-entry to this galaxy. We're going to enter the trails soon. Made your decision yet?" He asked as he adjusted his glasses.

"Decision? And what the hell do you mean by re-entry?" I shouted in panic as I grabbed his arm.

"Haha, is he finally awake?" Asked another one of my close friends, Max.

"I mean which difficulty you were going to pick? Didn't you tell Max and I that you don't want to live a mediocre life and might try for the 'Medium' difficulty. Did coming back to earth after your long vacation at Okainia make you lose your memory or something?" Kevin replied to me being extremely calm.

Well these 2 were used to constantly seeing my emotional side, but that is not the point right now. I definitely did now know what the shit they were talking about.

"Now, alight and go to your homerooms, the trail starts in 5 minutes." The same voice said, as I realized it sounded extremely familiar.

I decided to stay calm and move with Max since we were both in the same room, and we eventually separated from Kevin since he was from a different homeroom.

As we alighted the Spaceship, I realized that something is definitely odd, and this is not the same 'Earth' I know.

'Am I dreaming?' I began to wonder.

The KIA looked awfully similar to my old school, but it seemed to have a lot more buildings to it. We walked for about 5 minutes before reaching our classroom.

As soon as we entered a classroom that seemed familiar, I quickly sat at my own seat, which was right beside Max.

Right as I sat down, I saw a screen pop up in front of me.

"What all of you should be seeing right now is your status page," my homeroom teacher, Stacy explained.

"Soon you will see the options. Remember, everyone here has trained for your own difficulty, don't choose hastily. Report back to me after you get your choices."

As Ms Stacy finished speaking, an entirely new screen popped up in front of me.

Instead of the pale blue screen like before, this one was pitch black, with white words, and a golden border on the side of the screen.

I just stared at my screen. Aren't these anime, cartoons and novels?

If this really is a trial to get power, wouldn't the safest yet best way to get power be either Dragon Ball Z or Lightning is the only way? Well, not safe for the latter.

I stared at my screen for a longer time to decide which option to pick as Ms Stacy walked up to me.

"Which options did you get Arcadia? The others got decent options but I am more worried about you since you said you might increase your difficulty to medium." She asked as she stood in front of me.

When I looked at her properly I was a bit shocked.

Long gone were the wrinkly skin and middle aged women, what stood before me was a full blown milf.

With white skin and medium length blond hair, she spoke in a thicker English accent than usual.

I then decided to put my shock aside and read her my options.

"Hmm the world of Beyblade. Not a lot is known about this world, but if you go there you can surely survive and have around an F rank combat prowess."

'F rank? What the hell is that? And how do they now know about the world of Beyblade ?'

"I have never heard about the world of 'Lightning is the only way, and I am pretty sure it's a new option the Omni-Records opened up. There is no information about it in all of the Human databases." She said as she scrolled through a tablet.

'What?! No records of Lightning is the only way? I know it's not that famous of a light novel but still.'

"We have 1 to 2 people who tried Dragon Ball a couple of years back but they didn't gain a lot since the world was too peaceful. We still don't know why the world is considered an Extreme difficulty."

"Ms can I borrow your tablet please." I asked. I needed to check something. If my hypothesis is correct, well I wouldn't know how to feel.

She looked at me oddly, and just tapped on my table 2 times.

Suddenly, a holographic screen emerged from my table, and I recognised where it came from.

'Isn't this Stark Tech? This seems awfully similar to that.'

Anyways, my 'computer' asked for a password so I started to do a quick prayer.

'Please, please have the same stupid password.' I prayed as I typed in Arcadia123.

IT WORKED!

I quickly opened the web, but what I saw was completely different.

'What the fuck is UWW? Anyways, where's the search bar…'

I quickly typed in the word 'anime' yet nothing popped up.

Then I typed in 'Wuxiaworld' and again nothing popped up.

'It seems like there isn't any anime, cartoons or fictional work of the sorts in this new 'world.'

I am in a new world.

One without anime.

One without novels.

Well shit.

"So, which one will you pick?" Asked Mark Stacy.
